Bill and Hillary Clinton are facing contempt of Congress charges if they don’t appear before a House committee next week to testify in the Jeffrey Epstein investigation.
The couple was originally scheduled to testify before the House Oversight Committee in December but those appearances were moved to January 13 for him and the 14th for her at the request of the couple, who cited a conflict.
But now they haven’t confirmed they will be there next week. And Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the chairman of the panel, said he’ll slap them with contempt if they don’t show.

Donald Trump has ordered his special forces commanders to draw up a plan for the invasion of Greenland - but is being resisted by senior military figures, The Mail on Sunday has learned.
Sources say that the policy 'hawks' around the US President, led by political adviser Stephen Miller, have been so emboldened by the success of the operation to capture Venezuela's leader Nicolas Maduro that they want to move quickly to seize the island before Russia or China makes a move.
British diplomats believe that Trump is also motivated by a desire to distract American voters from the performance of the US economy before the mid-term elections

WASHINGTON — The killing of a Minnesota woman by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer is reverberating across Capitol Hill where Democrats, and certain Republicans, are vowing an assertive response as President Donald Trump’saggressive deportation operations spark protests nationwide. Lawmakers are demanding a range of actions, from a full investigation into Renee Good’s shooting death and policy changes over law enforcement raids to the defunding of ICE operations and the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, in what is fast becoming an inflection point.

Philadelphia County Sheriff Rochelle Bilal unleashed a blistering attack on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Thursday, branding the federal agency “fake, made-up law enforcement” and threatening that any ICE agents who set foot in her jurisdiction will face arrest and prosecution.

President Trump on Friday night called on credit card companies to cap interest rates at 10 percent.
“Please be informed that we will no longer let the American Public be ‘ripped off’ by Credit Card Companies that are charging Interest Rates of 20 to 30%, and even more, which festered unimpeded during the Sleepy Joe Biden Administration. AFFORDABILITY!” the president wrote in a post on Truth Social, using a term he has frequently referred to as a “hoax” pushed by Democrats.
Effective January 20, 2026, I, as President of the United States, am calling for a one year cap on Credit Card Interest Rates of 10%. Coincidentally,

Minneapolis police officers, including Chief Brian O’Hara, were attacked and chased out of a downtown area by violent anti-ICE rioters on Friday night.
Officers were seen in video footage from the riot abandoning the streets, leaving the area under the control of leftist anarchists who have been protesting federal immigration enforcement operations.
Riots have escalated in the wake of the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good, a radical anti-ICE activist, who nearly mowed down an agent with her vehicle last week.

Following Washinton’s 2025 unsuccessful attempt to violate the Catholic seal of confession, a proposed Arizona law attempts to do the same. Arizona Bill HB 2039 seeks to modify state law by making it a class 6 felony, with fines of up to $150,000 and up to two years of imprisonment, if priests, with reasonable suspicion that abuse penitents disclosed in confession is ongoing, will continue, or may be a threat to other minors, fail to report this to peace officers or the department of child safety promptly.
Given the danger HB 2039 poses, this column highlights Catholic Church teachings about confession before examining selected litigation —

Social media is crawling with self-proclaimed forensic analysts poring over footage of Wednesday’s ICE shooting in Minneapolis and insisting it shows the agent who shot Renee Nicole Good lacked justification. Some of the takes are downright embarrassing, with left-wing influencers confidently analyzing the wrong ICE agent altogether, pointing to the one at the side of the vehicle instead of the agent positioned in front of it. Some simply post the same footage we’ve all seen and merely declare the video proves the agent is a murderer.
I’ve seen it all, and let me tell you, of all the analyses out there,

Federal agents swarmed the home of the ICE officer who fatally shot a woman in Minneapolis this week, removing belongings as the house sits empty and the agent’s family reportedly goes into hiding.
A Special Response Team arrived at Jonathan Ross’s suburban Minneapolis home Friday morning, according to the Daily Mail. Officers wearing masks and balaclavas carried out plastic crates, a computer tower and picture frames before forming a defensive formation around a vehicle that left the garage.
A neighbor told the outlet she saw Ross’s wife pacing in the driveway Wednesday afternoon, hours after the shooting. The house has been empty since then.

Stellantis
is scrapping its plug-in hybrid electric Jeep SUVs and Chrysler minivan amid slowing EV sales, quality issues and weakened federal fuel economy requirements.
The automaker on Friday said the decision to end production of the plug-in hybrid Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Chrysler Pacifica was a result of waning customer demand and the need to focus on “more competitive electrified solutions, including hybrid and range‑extended vehicles.”
“Stellantis continually evaluates its product strategy to meet evolving customer needs and regulatory requirements. With customer demand shifting, Stellantis will phase out plug‑in hybrid (PHEV) programs in North America beginning with the 2026 model year,” the company said in an emailed statement.
