Why do pessimistic pundits keep getting

Even more surprising than the blockbuster 4.3% economic growth rate recorded in the third quarter of 2025 was the fact that some 90% of the nation’s professional economists got it all wrong. These economic whiz-kids’ faulty forecast comes on the heels of their predictions last week that inflation was going to be above 3%. Instead, the actual number was 2.7%. Welcome to the gang that can’t shoot straight. Maybe it’s time for this cadre of Keynesian economists to send their PhDs back to the Ivy League schools they got them from, and just admit they have no idea what they’re talking about.

Because in owning the MSM they believe they will not get called on for their public opinions. And because they hate Trump so badly, they would sooner sing the Lord's Prayer backwards and kneel to Satan than give DJT credit. And why when faced with a MAGA supporter they go absolutely bonkers as was done to that poor (now less so) clerk at Target. Jesus supped with sinners but the Pharisees loudly whined about it - OUTSIDE.

Economists are part of the expert class that has been doing face plants in so many areas. They are part of so many that have been educated in failing universities that focus more on ideology instead of actual education. In addition, these experts have all the fancy computer toys that let them crank out models that support their ideology. The problem is, garbage in, garbage out. It was coined about computers but it applies to ideology as well. In the case of the experts, they begin with an expected ending per their ideology. Then they cleverly torture the data to make the numbers come out the way they expect. Then they offer each other self congratulatory kudos. Then they make decisions based on their bad models, which, in themselves, CAUSE the outcomes they expect. An example of this is the FED stubbornly keeping interest rates high. A recovering economy NEEDS capital for growth. High interest rates strangle access to money and growth. And there is an enormous difference between the government spending money it doesn't have and business spending money it doesn't have. Government doesn't produce anything for profit to earn money. Business does. While business might see costs rise, they can recover that through efficiency gains and sales volume increases that counter inflationary pressures. Over a couple years, profits fuel growth and the need for borrowing relaxes, also reducing inflationary pressures. However, you have to PRIME THE PUMP. And, you may have to tolerate a bit of inflation to get things going. All the above is basic functioning of economies. You can generate computer models that deny it but it has proven to be true over centuries. One of the challenges to successful businesses is the failure of our educational system. If businesses were smart, they would pool resources to start up technical education centers that are laser focused on producing people who can make products. Right now, these companies endow existing failed universities and their money is wasted. They should build the schools they need and we should discard the old guard schools that produce liberal dopes. The new schools should only focus on preparation for careers in companies that focus on making great products, not social engineering. Trump's success is based on solid understanding of how our economy works. He KNOWS what works. He knows WHY it works. He doesn't need biased and broken models to support him. He knows that if the government creates conditions favorable to business, mostly by getting out of the way, businesses will have the ability to thrive. Stupid companies will still stumble or fail but the odds shift to favor the smart, hard working companies. Trump gets the government off the backs of business. It works.

The US Department of State, under the direction of Marco Rubio, has taken a rare and decisive step against European political figures accused of acting against American interests, barring several prominent individuals who’ve sought to censor free and open dialogue on American platforms. The bold move signals a sharp and definitive break from years of deference—and even subservience—to Brussels’ ever-increasing, draconian regulatory ambitions. Secretary of State Marco Rubio rightly framed the action as a defense of American free speech against what he described as organized, ideological pressure from abroad. He made it crystal clear that the era of tolerating overseas attempts to silence U.S. voices and American positions is over.

We here at Bearing Arms and at other Second Amendment sites across the internet don't pretend we're unbiased. We wear our biases proudly because, frankly, it's not like anyone else out there is unbiased. We're just honest about it. But the problem is that because we're honest about our biases, we're not considered "news" by far too many people. That's fine, of course, because we're not. Then again, there are a lot of places that are treated as news outlets by these same people who are just as biased, but they lie about it constantly. And the NRA is calling out one example via its America's 1st Freedom publication.

The Trump administration is preparing to crack down on student loan defaulters starting next year. This will be interesting because you can bet Democrats are going to flip out about this. The Education Department confirmed it will begin withholding wages from borrowers who fail to pay their debts. The first wave hits in early January. About 1,000 individuals who defaulted on their student loans will see wage garnishments begin the week of Jan. 7, 2026. “We expect the first notices to be sent to approximately 1,000 defaulted borrowers the week of January 7,” an Education Department spokesperson told The New York Post.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) has a lot of embarrassing distinctions from a political standpoint, not the least of which is being part of one of the few vice presidential debates people actually remember, with JD Vance absolutely cleaning his clock in October 2024 without breaking a sweat. After getting humiliated the following month as well, one would think that Walz would lie low in 2025 to avoid further national embarrassment. But, not only has he not done so, he's running for reelection as governor in 2026. Even more amazingly, Walz is rumored to be considering a 2028 presidential run,

“Intersectionality” is the mother’s milk of the anti-American, anti-capitalist and anti-Western ideologues who have been ramping up their violence this year. But few Americans are focusing on this threat — just look at the sparse coverage of the recently indicted Turtle Island Liberation Front. On Tuesday, a bombshell grand-jury indictment alleged that the group plotted to use “weapons of mass destruction” to “completely pulverize” tech companies and other targets. That means we’d better start paying attention — because intersectionality fuels the coalition of leftists, anarchists and Islamists intent on tearing down our country.

State Department officials contended that those five Europeans flouted a visa policy rolled out in May restricting those who work to censor protected speech in the US from entering the country. “For far too long, ideologues in Europe have led organized efforts to coerce American platforms to punish American viewpoints they oppose,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio declared Tuesday.

A few days ago, the Federalist reported that Fulton County, Georgia, had over 300,000 illegal early-vote ballots during the 2020 election. The votes were illegal because they were unsupported by poll worker signatures (contrary to Georgia law). In other words, the vote totals were miraculously born without a mother or father. Independent analysts have known of this evidence for years. Indeed, a reference to the phony 2020 votes is included on page 108 of my book (Debunked?), which was published three years ago: “All but two of the early vote tabulator closing tapes for 350,000 votes were unsigned. Thus, there was no chain of custody for those files.”
