Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett launched a campaign Monday for the U.S. Senate in Texas, telling President Donald Trump, “I’m coming for you,” and bringing a national profile to what could be a critical race for Democrats’ long-shot hopes of reclaiming a Senate majority in next year’s midterm elections.
Crockett, one of Congress’ most outspoken Democrats, a frequent target of GOP attacks and a Trump target, jumped into the race on the final day of qualifying in Texas. She is seeking the Senate seat held by Republican John Cornyn, who is running for reelection in the GOP-dominated state.

Joe Biden's FBI under Director Christopher Wray knew Brian Cole was the January 6 pipe bomber back in April, 2921, but for some reason chose not to take him into custody or charge him with crimes. Brian Cole, 30, of Woodbridge, Virginia, was taken into custody last Thursday and charged with use of an explosive device and attempted malicious destruction by means of explosive materials. Cole admitted to investigators that he planted pipe bombs at the RNC and DNC headquarters on January 5, the night before the Capitol riot.

Just like his genders, this Delaware Democrat likes his commemoration days both ways.
Rep. Sarah McBride, the country’s first transgender U.S. representative, used Sunday’s anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor that killed more than 2,000 Americans to promote a video celebrating Delaware’s status as the first state to ratify the Constitution.
It was trite, it was chatty, and it was a slap in the face to the country’s history, its military, and to the dwindling number of survivors of the attack that brought the United States into World War II. Check it out here, complete with Rep. McBride’s little joke about “identity.”

The Department of Homeland Security has rolled out a new searchable website allowing Americans to see the names and faces of the “worst of the worst” criminal illegal aliens arrested across all 50 states since the start of the Trump administration.
Now, Americans from Springfield, Ohio, to San Diego to Boston can learn the identities of some of the illegal aliens Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents have detained in their community, and what convictions or criminal charges those individuals face.
“This new Worst of the Worst webpage allows every American to see for themselves the criminal illegal aliens that we are arresting, what crimes they committed,

Tensions between China and Japan escalated again over the weekend after two Chinese J-15 fighter jets allegedly aimed their radars at Japanese F-15 fighter jets near Okinawa, prompting Tokyo to lodge a formal protest against Beijing, with Canberra supporting Japan.
Japan’s Ministry of Defense said the episodes occurred on Saturday in international airspace southeast of Okinawa. The ministry said no Japanese aircraft were damaged and that the Chinese jets did not enter Japan’s territorial airspace.
Japanese Defense Minister Shinjiro Koizumi said on Sunday the radar illumination was a “dangerous act that exceeded the scope necessary for the safe flight of the aircraft.” Speaking alongside Australian Deputy Defense

It is hard now even for Democrats to defend illegal immigration, given that the Biden administration allowed in more than 10 million entrants. Among them were an estimated 500,000 criminals. No one believes that was wise or should ever be repeated. Worse, the message went out that there would be few, if any, deportations and no real ICE kinetic activity beyond the border. The world’s poor, sick, both law-abiding and criminal, young and old, understood that anyone could now enter the U.S. at will. Deterrence and legality were lost.

President Trump is expected on Monday to announce a $12 billion aid package for American farmers, moving to support a sector that's been hurt by tariffs and a U.S. trade war with China.
A senior administration official told CBS News that Mr. Trump will unveil the plan during a White House event, with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins expected to join Mr. Trump and several farmers at the announcement.
Roughly $11 billion of the government assistance is set aside for the Department of Agriculture's Farmer Bridge Assistance program, which the White House has said will offer one-time payments to farmers for row crops.

President Joe Biden was warned by advisers that his immigration plans could lead to “chaos” at the US border — but he ignored them, a newly uncovered memo reveals.
His team doled out the advice to Biden when he was still campaigning against President Trump back in 2020, the New York Times reported.
“A potential surge could create chaos and a humanitarian crisis, overwhelm processing capacities and imperil the agenda of the new administration,” Biden’s advisers wrote.
The memo warned that a huge influx was possible given Biden’s approach, a backlog from the Trump administration, and COVID hardships.

Pete Hegseth “runs around on a stage talking about lethality and warrior ethos and killing people. … That’s not the message that needs to come from the Secretary of Defense,” complained Sen. Mark Kelly last week. The message, especially coming from a former Navy captain, is so bizarre it borders on satire. Nations have had organized armies since recorded history started around 3000 B.C. And, in the words of the late, great Rush Limbaugh, the whole point of having a military is to kill people and break things, even if that military is exclusively employed for defensive purposes.[snip] But Kelly’s message is more than just a dumb comment.

It’s not like you didn’t know this already: Joe Biden’s incompetence ushered in the return of Donald J. Trump. Yet, there were plenty of opportunities for Biden and the Democrats to prevent what would become the greatest political comeback of all time. Why didn’t this happen? For some reason, Biden and his crew of invalids thought that Americans wouldn’t mind that the southern border would be awash with illegal aliens, and that any enforcement measures would turn Latino voters against Democrats.
Ironically, the latter is why there was such a violent swing to Trump with Hispanic voters in the 2024 election. They were warned, and they ignored it.

Energy policy is perhaps second only to illegal immigration as a signature strength of the Trump administration.

Standard 205 is distinct from the ABA’s standard 206, which requires law schools to commit to diversity ideology to get accredited.

The arrest of the alleged J6 pipe bomber just lumps mystery on top of mystery.
What we know from court documents and media reports since his arrest Thursday is that suspect Brian Cole Jr., is a black, 30-year-old loner who lives in his mom’s basement in the middle-class suburb of Woodbridge, Va., a 20-minute drive from Washington, DC. According to his family, he is borderline autistic, and incapable of such a crime.

How the USPS stole Christmas.
Hundreds of care packages sent to US military members stationed overseas during the holidays were returned to a Connecticut-based nonprofit over a “ridiculous” minor technicality cited by the United States Postal Service — and now there’s no way the boxes will make it to the service members in time.
Three weeks ago, nonprofit Boxes to Boots shipped 1,139 holiday care packages intended for overseas service members. Of those, 884 were flagged by US Customs and sent back by USPS to the nonprofit, based in Berlin, Conn., though some were also lost in transit, the charity organizers told NBC Connecticut.

From the moment Elon Musk began musing about buying Twitter in 2022, the left began warning that his pledge to restore free speech to the social media platform was a threat to democracy. To most Americans this claim had a distinctly Orwellian ring and very few voters shared the fear that the platform could be used by conservative extremists to spread “disinformation” that would present a danger to the republic. What the left really feared, of course, was that Musk would reveal that Twitter was an integral part of the censorship-by-proxy strategy used by the government to silence inconvenient speech.
