DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip — Children and families in Gaza scooped muddy water from their tents on Tuesday, trying to protect the few belongings that remain after two years of war. Winter’s heavy rains have left displaced Palestinians splashing in water that reaches their ankles, and blaming both Israel and Hamas for the misery that remains despite a ceasefire. “All tents were destroyed,” said Assmaa Fayad in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, whose shelter was damaged in Tuesday’s latest downpour. “Where is Hamas? Where are the people to see this rain and how our children are drowning?” A Hamas spokesperson

Omg who cares. Should we remind the Hamas sympathizers at the AP what our people went through in North Carolina during hurricane Helene and how help was denied to Trump supporters? Or how about the train derailment in East Palestine Ohio that poisoned the town? Or the countless other natural disasters that have fallen in multiple locations in our country? Raining in Gaza? They’re lucky.

For years if not for decades Hamas has used humanitarian aid to buy weapons and to build tunnel complexes beneath hospitals and schools from which they planned attacks on Israel. Then on October 7, 2023 they attacked, raping, killing, and taking hostages. Ever since they’ve regrouped behind the hostages and their own civilian population. Hamas is responsible for the existing circumstances. No doubt they will use any assistance they receive to rearm. The civilians of Gaza are at the mercy of Hamas regardless. The west owes them nothing.

They "FA'd" and now they have "FO'd".
By the way, why do we never hear of the zillionaire nearby Arab nations chipping in to help?
Maybe they know something that we, on this side of The Pond, are not being informed of by our Lamestream News organizations.
As for me, regarding Gaza, my Give-A-Dam's Busted.

Can't they live in the tunnels or they are flooded, too? Oops, forgot, hamas already booby-trapped the tunnels.

One of the Palestinians quoted finally asked the right question: Where is Hamas? Where is the alleged Palestinian government? They are hiding in Qatar in their million dollar luxury condos with all of the embezzlement aid money. That's where Hamas is! Palestinian civilians are on your own at the mercy of othets.

I hear there is a drought in Tehran so maybe they could build more tunnels to move the water there.

Let's hope if floods the tunnels. Flooding the tunnels then setting off large explosive charges will be super destructive due to the water transmitting the hydraulic shock very efficiently to the walls and ceilings of the tunnels, shattering the concrete.

Whatever the conditions there, American Pravda will portray it as a humanitarian crisis and blame it on PDJT. Everything's soaked. Or everything's parched. Or everything's frozen. Or everything's baking.
AP and Newsweak have emerged as prominent propagandists for this term, like CNN, NYT and WaPo were in the last term.

Sometimes it rains. It rained here all day yesterday. The AP didn't pick it up, though.

Is it a surprise it sometimes rains in the winter? The rest of the year is bone dry - which is also Israel's fault I suppose.
