Jack Smith Referred to DOJ for Prosecutorial Misconduct

Original Article

Jack Smith may have thought he was untouchable when he led the Biden administration's legal crusade against Donald Trump, but Republican lawmakers are now making it clear that his alleged abuses won't go unanswered. On Friday, Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, joined by a coalition of Republican senators and one congressman, sent a blistering letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi referring the former special counsel to the Department of Justice's Office of Professional Responsibility and two state bar associations for investigation. The charge? Professional misconduct that is serious enough to warrant potential disbarment.

When Biden was President, jack Smith was untouchable. Unfortunately for Jack Smith, Biden is no longer President, and his slimy attacks on Donald Trump are coming home to him. Disbarment is the least he has coming to him. He should see some jail time.

The iconic lakerman deigns to predict a Jack Smith end game as follows: Disbarrment in Tennessee No disbarrment in New York Permanent position in the International Court as a prosecutor A comfortable life outside of the U.S., where he will avoid arrest by staying away. Is my set of predictions cynical ? Yes. Accurate? Probably. Should lots of DOJ attorneys go the same route? Absolutely. Those attorneys had an obligation to request the judge to disengage from those fake cases against King Trump. Courts have procedures in place to do that. (end of the day recusal)

I will add to lakerman1's predictions: Alas, the chicken will never come home to roost. He will stay in England, where he filmed his interview w/ Weissman. When we request extradition, he'll receive an invitation to resume his job at the Hague. The English will not honor the former colony's request and allow his flight. Oh well. However, he owns real property we can seize, but more important, there is a small army of attorneys that served him and have none of his protections. Prosecute them, the comparative nobodies, the low hanging fruit. It's the best move for posterity anyway; small fish eventually get big.

The ‘No Kings’ Protests Against Democracy Itself 4 replies
Posted by FlyRight 10/19/2025 2:45:54 PM Post Reply
On November 5, 2024, Donald Trump won the United States presidential election against Kamala Harris. It was a convincing win. Trump snagged victory in the Electoral College, where the contest is officially decided, 312 to 226. He needed only 270 to prevail. He also won the popular vote (a nice but unnecessary distinction), with 77,302,580 votes to 75,017,613, a margin of almost 2 million votes. I mention these well-known facts to underscore the black comedy of the “No Kings” protests taking place across the country as I write. According to several sources, some 2500 separate protests are planned. Millions of people are expected to join in the fun.

The IDF began “a series of strikes” against Hamas targets in southern Gaza in response to the terror group violating the ceasefire agreement on Sunday, the military announced. The military condemned Hamas’s “blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement,” which occurred when the terror group fired an anti-tank missile and opened fire on Israeli soldiers. Earlier, the Prime Minister's Office announced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had instructed Israel's armed forces to respond with force against Gazan terror targets during a consultation with Defense Minister Israel Katz and the heads of Israel's security establishment.

Tellingly, the most senior of the nine officers axed on the 17th was General He Weidong, the second-ranked vice chairman of the Commission and Xi Jinping's No. 1 loyalist in the PLA. The general had gained prominence as Xi's top enforcer in the military. Gen. He was not the only officer who backed Xi and has now been taken out of the military's leadership ranks. Moreover, it is difficult to identify any Xi adversary who was purged in the last 18 months. It is unlikely, at a time Xi Jinping appears to be fighting for political survival, that he would remove his most important supporter in the military.

A campaign staffer for Democratic mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani was recently caught on hidden camera saying “who gives a s–t” what cops think about the socialist candidate. “They’re city employees. You get told what to do, shut up. When did you get an opinion?” Robert Akleh, the citywide canvass manager for the campaign sniffed to an “undercover” operative for conservative podcaster Steven Crowder. Scott Munro, the president of the Detectives’ Endowment Association representing 21,000 active and retired NYPD Detectives tells The Post that New Yorkers better vote like their “lives depend on it.”

The terror-linked Brooklyn imam who palled around in a photo opp this week with socialist NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani once urged “jihad” on the Big Apple. Imam Siraj Wahhaj, one of the nation’s foremost Muslim leaders, delivered his radical message during a sermon in the early 2000s, telling followers to participate in gun-free jihad and “march through the city of New York,” according to a foreign intelligence assessment obtained Saturday by The Post. “I pray one day Allah will bless us to raise an army, and I’m serious about this,” he said during the sermon, which was first reported by Islamist Watch and cited in the intelligence report

Once again, Europe seems to have slipped into a dangerous fantasy: that engaging in polite diplomatic parleys with promises of sugar plums will tame Iran's rapacious ambitions. France, Germany, and the United Kingdom (E3), acting as the European Troika, declared their intention to revive the long-stalled nuclear negotiations with Iran. At the core of the E3's plan lies the deeply flawed assumption that Iran can be wooed into restraint through incremental "incentives." These generally consist of easing financial pressure, lifting trade restrictions, or delaying multilateral sanctions in exchange for ephemeral commitments. Sadly, Europe appears to be pursuing the worst lessons of appeasement:

Then on Saturday morning, the governor ordered the road closed after experts advised it. President Trump's negotiating team pulled an eleventh-hour rabbit out of the hat and scuttled a potentially disastrous UN scheme to impose a "carbon tax" on international shipping. The proceeds from that tax would be used to fund other activities by the International Maritime Organization. It was ugly but effective. When the meeting convened, it looked like a done deal. That isn't how it played out. My colleague Ward Clark covered the preliminaries to the battle royal in Marco Rubio: The US Is a 'Hard NO' on Risky UN Carbon Tax Scheme – RedState. Since the Affordable Care Act (ACA) became law, Americans have faced soaring health care insurance premiums, which have more than doubled since 2013. Surging deductibles have compounded the issue, creating a double whammy to affordability. Government subsidies, often touted as relief, merely mask the skyrocketing prices rather than addressing the root causes, thereby obscuring consumers from the true cost of care.A lesser-known ACA option, Copper plans, feature high deductibles but significantly lower premiums, typically 20 to 30 percent less than Bronze plans and up to 60 percent less than Platinum plans.
