Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) called Secretary of War Pete Hegseth a “laughing stock.”
Host Jake Tapper said, “You’re a veteran, so I would be remiss if I didn’t ask you what you thought of Secretary Hegseth and President Trump’s discussion before the generals at Quantico?”
Gallego said, “I think it’s absolutely ridiculous. It was number one — it politicizes more the military, which is what you don’t want to do. As someone who has sat in briefings of that nature, it really tells you what’s happening. You know, it’s definitely clear that the Secretary of Defense is trying to compensate for something.

Hey Ruben! We like and support Pete; he's cleaning up the mess you leftists made of OUR military. Who are you, by the way?

As usual, if a Dem says something you know you're being lied to.
The Dems starting with Obama already politicized the military with their DEI and trans nonsense.
Throwing out their trash ideas is removing politics. But he knew that before he said it.

Gallego is number one - a complete intellectual and social lightweight who hasn't the slightest idea what he is doing.
I guess number two will come at a future date when someone tells him what it is.

Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) called Secretary of War Pete Hegseth a “laughing stock.” Well Ruben, I guess it takes one to know one, eh? Democrats are world-class authorities on laughingstocks: Eric Swalwell caught boning a Chinese spy, Sen. Dianne Feinstein also had a Chinese spy/ for a chaueffer, AOC just being herself, Bernie Sanders maligning millionaires while simultaneously taking their money AND being one, pencil neck Adam Schiff lying for years about having foolproof evidence proving Trump was colluding with Russia when such evidence never existed, Sen. Elizabeth "Pocahontas Warren committing racial fraud by clsiming Native Americn heritage, Jasmine Crockett and her tarantula fake eyelashes, SC Justice Kenji Brown saying with a straight face at her confirmation hearing that she isn't qualified to answer the quiestion "What is a woman?" Compared to all them Pete Hegseth seems least likely to embarras himself.

WWII bomber pilots knew they were over the target when they started drawing a lot of flak.
So, it is with the Trump Administration. I'll be worried when the DemoRoids start praising the Trump Administration.

Was he laughing while he said it? No...hence even HE knew it wasn't true.
How many people in the room were laughing? zero.
How many people salute Ruben? none.
Where is HE in the chain of command? he's not.

I'm not inclined to ask an enlisted Marine Infantryman (And remember, he worked WITH them, no cite that he was one) about the finer workings of the JCOS level of management.

Just because Gallego was in the military, it doesn't mean he knows anything about the military. Duckworth was in too but she doesn't know anything either. Both want the military to be social experimentations rather than war fighters -- thats why Gallego doesn't understand what Hegseth is doing.

I refuse to belittle his military or subsequent service. But he is on the wrong side and his opinion regarding Hegseth and our military necessities has been poisoned via Harvard and his more recent time in Congress.

I doubt that a Marine E-4 ever sat in on quite the same kind of meeting as this, with the intended impact. It was a come-to-Jesus session for senior officers of the armed services, where they were being told to mend their ways, or else. This was not an enlisted dressing-down.

Being a veteran doesn't mean much to a Democrat politician , cveteran or not they are owned by the party so it's expected for them to claim Hegseth is a laughing stock.
But---------------One thing is certain they aren't laughing. They are crying like Karen's.

From his wiki page:
Gallego attended Harvard College, where he became a member of Sigma Chi fraternity[8] and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in government.[9]
****
Gallego served in the Marines from 2002 to 2006.[10] After completing training in the School of Infantry (SOI), he was deployed to Iraq with Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marines. Gallego served as a lance corporal (=pfc in army)..
How did he do both Harvard and the Marines (2000-04)?
Pete Hegseth's somewhat more extensive military career can be found here.

Gallego was a lance corporal - E-3 -"junior enlisted". Never made ordporal, which is an NCO in the Marines.

Back at ya, Gallego. Hegseth is a serious operator and knows how it's done, all the way from the Pentagon to walking the streets with a rifle in Suckistan. I have not been this proud of the US Military since the days when the skinny, effiminate Kenyan illegal immigrant changed it into a social experiment that failed.

This coming from a leftist out of touch doofus from a party full of complete laughing stocks. A few prominent ones mentioned by #5. Secretary Hegseth is exactly what is needed to run the department that overseas our military. Not some DEI hired clown who always had a befuddled look on his face and sounded like he didn't know what the heck he was doing.
