Mamdani’s plan for disciplining cops
exposes his anti-blue bigotry

Zohran Mamdani just offered fresh proof of his deep anti-cop bigotry with his call to shift key powers to discipline officers to the Civilian Complaint Review Board. It’s a terrible fix for a problem that doesn’t exist — and one that would lead to worse policing, and so more crime; it would likely even produce a force with far more bad cops. “What I would do is ensure that the recommendations of the CCRB be understood to be the final voice of the question of accountability,” Mamdani says — without pointing to any actual bad results of the current law, which gives final say to the police commissioner.

The police are normal people, having good and bad among their ranks. They have training in their profession and are willing to risk their lives so an imbecile like Mamdani who grew up in a rich and privileged life knows nothing of which he speaks. You still have time to rid yourselves of this idiot, New York, just get out and vote for a known evil because this one is going to overwhelm you with his complete lack of intelligence and common sense. Communist - Democratic Socialist - Same Same. Neither philosophy has ever worked for the good of any people except the appointed leaders. Don't say you were not warned.

His plan is to reduce the police commissioner to a puppet and paint a target on all police officers. The bad guys will lie through their teeth about cop behavior and the "board" will believe them. No one in their right mind would want to be a cop in NYC. The voters seem oblivious to what "defund the police" did to crime in major cities.

NYC is going to have a "hand picked" CCRB, and the cops will toe the line. It's going to be just like Chicago in the 1930s, only the police will be as bad as the criminals.

Democrats are facing growing concern in New Jersey as the state’s gubernatorial race tightens and new data shows Republicans gaining an early advantage in mail-in voting ahead of the November election. Updated figures this week indicate that Republican ballot returns have surpassed Democrats for the first time in the 2025 cycle, reflecting a shift that has intensified challenges for Rep. Mikie Sherrill’s campaign against former state lawmaker Jack Ciattarelli. According to election analyst Michael Pruser, 18.6 percent of all mail-in ballots returned so far are from Republican voters, compared to 16.6 percent from Democrats and 9.3 percent from other parties.

A federal judge in Oregon temporarily blocked the Trump administration’s plan to deploy hundreds of National Guard troops to Portland — the same day federal agents unleashed tear gas and mace on anti-ICE agitators after more than 100 straight days of unrest. US District Judge Karin Immergut, a Trump nominee, ruled Saturday that deploying active-duty troops to secure the “war ravaged” Oregon city would violate the US Constitution and federal law barring military involvement in domestic law enforcement. “The relationship between the federal government and the states, between the military and domestic law enforcement, and the balance of powers between the executive,

In light of recent disclosures from Google and Meta adding to the existing evidence, Americans must confront a sobering question: Was the 2020 presidential election truly free and fair? Not merely in terms of ballot security, voter access, or “voter fraud,” but in the deeper democratic sense—where citizens are entitled to hear competing viewpoints, weigh evidence, and make informed decisions without interference or deception. Last year, under pressure from Jim Jordan, chair of the House Judiciary Committee, who was investigating government influence over social media platforms, Facebook admitted to yielding to pressure from the Biden administration and censoring conservative voices.

Netflix is having a no-good, horrible, very bad week after Elon Musk called for a boycott of the streaming site over its efforts to push transgender insanity on kids, labeling them groomers. As my RedState colleague Bonchie reported this week, the streaming giant really ran into a Conservative buzzsaw following news about the promotion of several shows geared towards children, and that push a pro-transgender agenda. Bonchie wrote about a show called "Dead End: Paranormal Park," which got the attention of Musk, leading him to call for a boycott of Netflix. The show was canceled after two seasons," TNND's story linked above continued. Bonchie wrote:

The New Jersey governor’s race is “winnable” for Republican Jack Ciattarelli, but there needs to be a “big, beautiful turnout,” Early Vote Action’s Scott Presler said during an interview on Breitbart News Saturday. Discussing the race between Republican Jack Ciattarelli and Democrat Rep. Mikie Sherrill, Presler said it is absolutely “winnable” for the GOP, noting that in 2021, the election was decided by only 84,000 votes. Do you know, Matt, how many Republicans stayed home in 2021, the year after 2020? 600,000,” Presler revealed. “The election was decided by 84,000 votes. Last week, I wrote about the left’s playbook of projection and deflection, wherein they ascribe their own sins unto their victims. This week, let us examine how the left tries to advance its radical agenda by redefining words and standards. Today’s case study: free speech. While the First Amendment of the United States Constitution recognizes and protects the God-given right to free speech, there has always been a reasonable, popular consensus that there exists material not suitable for young, impressionable children and that, alternatively, for adult consumption, cannot be banned. The left is endeavoring to rend this consensus.
