In his Sept. 22 executive order, Trump defined Antifa as “a militarist, anarchist enterprise that explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government, law enforcement authorities, and our system of law. It uses illegal means to organize and execute a campaign of violence and terrorism nationwide to accomplish these goals.” Antifa became particularly infamous during the 2020 summer of love and the so-called "mostly peaceful" protests, and it remains a source of violence in the United States, with Portland just one city still enduring months of anti-ICE Antifa riots. Not surprisingly, Disney has announced that late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel will return to the airwaves Tuesday night after an "indefinite" suspension that only lasted a few days.
As we reported, Disney's statement noted that their original decision to suspend him was "made because we felt some of the comments [made about alleged Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson] were ill-timed and thus insensitive."
"We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday," they also wrote.

The last time I looked at network television my set had four dials: on/off, vertical, and horizontal, volume, and channel. In this I’m not alone. Kimmel’s show had fewer viewers than a number of online podcasters, sponsors were fleeing, and local stations represented by affiliates Nexstar and Sinclair wanted out.
