Notes of Caution – The Story of Telemachus

Original Article

The Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement has gained in ranks mostly due to the pragmatic messenger who cuts through party lines, Donald Trump; but also, because the political left went too far into the world of social crazy. (snip) 22-year-old radical leftist, fully indoctrinated within the 18-years of social Marxist advancement, shot the Christian representation of the MAGA rebellion, Charlie Kirk, (snip) ♦ Telemachus was a Christian monk from Asia who went to Rome and saw the gladiatorial games at the Colosseum. (snip)watched the brutality of men slaughtering men, animals ripping the flesh and limbs from humans, while eighty thousand in the audience cheered. As a Christian, Telemachus was horrified.

I hope a few of our old-time LCom reader-thinkers will take the time to read this cautionary tale.. It's that important.

A cautionary tale indeed. If we allow the Bush, Cheney, McConnell sorts back in the driver's seat, we will be right back where we were just a few short years ago. That is, with a Muslim Marxist or career-long, corrupt, senile criminal back in charge.

I had dinner with a younger friend last night. I was traveling and it was the first time we had discussed the Kirk assassination. We both agreed that Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens are not at all "MAGA", but are just publicity seekers who have selected "conservative" as their route to celebrity and money, not because they believe in it. I have totally abandoned Carleson and Owens, no longer ever pay any attention to their stuff. Don't let them distract us from what is right, and don't confuse RIGHT from popular.

If you're up for some fun on a lazy Sunday afternoon, read the comments after the post. The Treepers are going off the rails again, some claiming that there's no evidence that Tyler Robinson was the shooter and there were two shots fired that day. Every time I want to believe in Sundance I have to caution myself after checking in on his zealot followers. Not sure I want to be part of that crowd. Never did like Candace and haven't listened to Tucker since he left Fox - is he still chasing UFO's?

Right now, I see three sides. The Democrats, the Republicans, and Donald Trump. They all want my support. Well, they have to earn it. The Democrats and Republicans have a terrible track record. I just look at the debt. That took decades to create, and it happened regardless which party was in control. They both spend money they do not have. I also consider both dishonest. The Democrats are criminal. They are the party calling for violence and protecting criminals. The Republicans are curiously silent. That's not good. As far as I am concerned, I don't trust the Republicans any more than I trust the Democrats. That leaves Trump. By now, both the Democrats and Republicans realize they cannot overcome him. Trump has a ton of charisma. They are waiting for the end of Trump's second term. What will happen to MAGA after Trump steps down? What will they stand for. I'm waiting to find out. They better be careful who they condemn. Only condemn those who are at war with us. They don't need to make enemies. Best bet: Continue to follow Trump's playbook.

I have my own differences with Tucker Carlson but he isn't remotely similar to either Owens or Fuentes. If he were he wouldn't have been invited to speak at the Charlie Cook memorial today.

The assassination of Charlie Kirk cries out for the death penalty, which is rarely imposed by Utah courts.. Roughly a month ago, The New York Times dropped a damning story about the current state of the Democrat Party. The main takeaway of the extensive report was that America’s leftist political entity is facing a massive voter registration crisis. Buried within the article, however, was a tacit admission that, “For years, the left has relied on a sprawling network of nonprofits — which solicit donations from people whose identities they need not disclose — to register Black, Latino and younger voters.” Although these groups claim to be “nonpartisan,” the outlet noted, “the underlying assumption has been that most new voters registering would vote Democratic.”

Some Democrats claim to want “unity” in the wake of the far-left political violence they fomented, but it is hard to believe they want anything other than to be absolved of responsibility when 118 of them in the House refuse to officially condemn the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The House of Representatives passed House Resolution 719, condemning Kirk’s assassination and “Honoring the life and legacy of Charles ‘Charlie’ James Kirk,” on Friday 310-58. While 95 Democrats voted in favor of the resolution, more than half of the Democrats in the House either voted against it or decided not to support it by voting “present” or not voting at all.

The teen’s parents claim that Sam Altman’s AI chatbot served as the boy’s “suicide coach.” Ars Technica reports that in the wake of a lawsuit involving a 16-year-old boy who tragically died by suicide after engaging in extensive conversations with ChatGPT, OpenAI has announced its intention to implement an age verification system for its popular AI chatbot. France and Saudi Arabia hope to use this year’s gathering of world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly and the increasingly horrific war in the Gaza Strip to inject new urgency into the quest for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Those efforts include a new road map for eventual Palestinian statehood in territories Israel seized in the 1967 Mideast war, and moves by several Western countries to join a global majority in recognizing such a state before it has been established. Britain, Canada and Australia formally recognized a Palestinian state on Sunday, joining nearly 150 countries that have already done so,
