New: Another Dose of Economic Illiteracy

It's nice that there are things in life you can always count on. The sun always comes up in the east, for every drop of rain that falls, a spot always gets wet, and every time Senator Elizabeth "Spreading Bull" Warren (D-MA) gets a dumb idea, she always tries to make it a dumb law. There's a lot wrong with all of that; for one thing, the U.S. labor market is a lot healthier than it was only a few months ago, when "Autopen Joe" Biden was still converting oxygen into carbon dioxide in the White House. But the big thing is that Senator Warren's idea, as is usually the case,

Sen. Liawatha has obviously never dealt with the practical realities of hiring people who are directly involved with procurement of products and services from outside entities. People in debt up to their eyeballs or with poor credit histories might be tempted arrange "grifting" or "kickback" schemes with outside entities that personally enrich them and do so without their employer's knowledge. [Of course, Sen. Warren would know nothing about grifting... /s off ] I have seen it happen in both corporate and academic environments. Sen. Warren would do well to get a clue... if she can find the brain neurons to rub together.

I can not help but believe that if not for her famous Native American deception she would not have received her education nor been elected to Congress because she is just another stupid Karen from Massachusetts with an immature, lying mouth.

#5: Been awhile since I bothered to read up on Sen. Liawatha's bio, but from what I recall, she came from an upper-middle class family in Oklahoma that was able to afford three automobiles in the mid-1960s. (Back then, financially struggling families had one car only -- usually a station wagon -- and the wife dropped the husband off to work in the AM and picked him up in the PM.) So despite her claims that her family had money troubles, they probably didn't. They were able to pay her way through law school, and she taught law at less-than-prestigious smaller schools in Texas for a few years... until the mid-1980s, when she decided to check the "Native American" box on an application for a "minority set-aside" slot at the University of Pennsylvania law school. Penn hired her instantly (i.e. she deprived some actual Native American attorney of a job), and a few short years later she parlayed that over to a similar gig at Harvard. But while she may be originally "from" Oklahoma, she's definitely "of" Massachusetts today.

Utah authorities on Tuesday announced seven charges against Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson. They will also be seeking the death penalty. Tyler Robinson, 22, was taken into custody last Friday for assassinating TPUSA founder and conservative political activist Charlie Kirk during an event at Utah Valley University. Robinson will be held without bail. “I am filing a notice of intent to seek the death penalty. I do not take this decision lightly, and it is a decision I have made… based solely on the available evidence and circumstances and nature of the crime,” Utah County District Attorney Jeff Gray said during a press conference.

Virginia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Abigail Spanberger won’t say whether she’ll renounce an endorsement from a local school board member who celebrated Charlie Kirk’s assassination. On Sunday, Chesterfield County School Board Chair Dot Heffron announced plans to resign after issuing a despicable social media post touting Kirk’s murder. On Instagram, the commonwealth official wrote, “Call me old fashioned, but I remember when we used to be okay with shooting Nazis.” Heffron released a statement when disclosing her intent to step down, in which she said, “The words I shared were wrong,” and “I should have shown better judgment.”
Senate Democrats raise concerns over Pentagon

Some Democratic senators say they are deeply concerned that a Pentagon plan to allow military lawyers to work as temporary immigration judges will violate a ban on using service members for law enforcement and affect the military justice system. The letter, sent to the military services and provided to The Associated Press, comes two weeks after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth approved sending up to 600 military lawyers to the Justice Department to serve as temporary immigration judges. It is part of the steps the Trump administration has taken to use the military in broader ways than previously seen, particularly in its immigration crackdown,
The New Poll That Proves Liberals Are

While the vast majority of Americans continue to reject political violence without quantification, a staggeringly large percentage of those identifying as liberals feel it can be justified and even celebrated. A new poll conducted in the aftermath of the assassination of Charlie Kirk shows the American left is growing dangerously comfortable with the idea of political violence as a tool to achieve its goals. While left-leaning media demand the right tone down their rhetoric, a survey conducted by YouGov shows it's the resistance party that needs to engage in some serious introspection.

Something fundamental shifted in Britain on September 13, 2025. In the heart of London, a sea of flags unfurled and hundreds of thousands...no, millions of ordinary men and women marched together for an idea: That Britain must remain Britain, that its borders must be defended, and that its culture, heritage, and people deserve respect. Or else. Naturally, the mainstream press dutifully downplayed the numbers, claiming “just” 110,000 to 150,000 attended. But I was there, and I can assure you that nobody who was there believes it. It was far larger, at least one million, but probably nearer three. And it did not appear out of nowhere.

President Trump announced on Truth Social on Monday afternoon that the United States military has blown up a second drug cartel boat out of Venezuela. The action led to the deaths of three narcoterrorists while no U.S. servicemembers were harmed during the operation. Trump also issued a warning to others attempting to transport drugs to the United States. Here are his full remarks: The Department of War also announced the operation and posted what appears to be a video of the strike: This is the second such strike in less than two weeks. It's going to be a while before the full impact of Charlie Kirk's assassination is known. I will venture one prediction, and that is that the impact won't favor the left. But for now, memorial services and eulogies for Charlie are still ongoing, and it's amazing how the attendees have behaved. No looting, no arson, no riots. It's almost as if people on the right are better-behaved than people on the left. Speaking of peaceful events: Speaking at the Kennedy Center, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. related a conversation he had with Charlie, and that conversation is worth noting.

In a bombshell revelation, it is being reported that the FBI is investigating at least seven different online accounts for expressing direct foreknowledge of Charlie Kirk's assassination. The conservative activist was shot in the neck by a far-left ideologue with ties to the transgender movement on Wednesday while speaking at a campus event in Utah. Before this latest news broke, it was largely assumed, at least by the mainstream press, that the shooter acted alone. That is now an assumption very much in doubt.

A predictable reaction to the horrible murder of Charlie Kirk among legacy media outlets has been to condemn the ugly tenor of America’s political debate and call for a timeout. On its face, the plea sounds reasonable enough, but it rests on the false idea of both-sidesism, as if left and right are equally to blame for the frightening rise of political violence. Count that as another Big Media lie and a repugnant effort to obscure the actual source and motivation of the assassination scourge. There are not two sides contributing to the horror and equally responsible for it.

New York and New Jersey did not issue orders to lower flags for slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk, leaving Bergen County under fire for following state protocol instead of President Trump’s proclamation. Trump signed a directive Wednesday ordering U.S. flags nationwide lowered through Sunday at 6 p.m., calling Kirk “a truly Great American Patriot.” Flags at the White House came down that afternoon. But in New Jersey, the official state flag status listed “full staff,” and Bergen County followed suit. New York also kept their flag status high, while Pennsylvania and Delaware complied with Trump’s directive. Several other counties and municipalities in New Jersey did the same.

War Secretary Pete Hegseth has instructed Pentagon officials to be on the lookout for members of the military celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk, so they can be punished. In the wake of the 31-year-old conservative influencer’s murder Wednesday, online sleuths have uncovered numerous sick social media posts from public officials, teachers, professors and even members of the armed services ghoulishly cheering or mocking Kirk’s assassination. “We are tracking all these very closely — and will address, immediately,” Hegseth wrote on X Thursday. “Completely unacceptable.”

When most people think of mayoral campaign promises, they picture fixing potholes, improving schools, or reducing crime. This isn't your typical political grandstanding. In the aftermath of the assassination of Charlie Kirk by a violently deranged and hate-filled leftist (yes, that is a confirmed fact), some on the hard Left have been publicly expressing justifications for, and even celebrations of, the murder. These ghouls do not represent America, nor do they represent America's center-left coalition writ large. Many politicians, public figures and private citizens on the 'progressive' end of the spectrum have prominently and unequivocally denounced the killing. This must be acknowledged and embraced with gratitude by all people of good will. The forces of decency must stand together against the cancer of political violence and twisted vigilantism.

The Pentagon is not backing down from its quest for consequences for those who celebrate Charlie Kirk’s killing, even as Democrats warn the move is "un-American" and violates free speech protections.
