When Obama Began Strangling the Republic
“By the Book”

It was a cold Sunday morning in Chicago in February 2003—I was driving over to the paper, and had a week’s worth or columns to plan—when I stopped in front of the E2 nightclub. Outside there was a police blockade because 21 young people had been killed, but the cops knew me and waved me through. On the sidewalk awkwardly alone, his hands jammed into the pockets of a navy-blue dress coat, was a soon-to-be well known Chicago Democrat: Barack Obama. The E2 was a black bougie hangout where 21 young people were crushed to death in a dark stairway that had been locked in violation of building codes.

Comments:

The club, owned by Chicago Way friends of Obie who included Tony Rezko (remember him?), had a court order tp close off the upper area. The owners kept it open. A stairway remained blocked. The owners threw fundraisers for Obie. Kass has known Obie for a long time and has a lot to say.

Kass delivers an incredibly powerful indictment against a person he believes has no soul. Many here don't read. This might be the exception.

Written by John Kaas who knows Chicago politics better than anyone. Make sure you read the comments at the end. Thanks for making it a must read. One of the comments claims Obama is not that bright, he is controlled by someone--I concur.

FTA - "On Tuesday, President Trump called on the Justice Department to prosecute former President Barack Obama for allegedly ordering an assessment that Russia meddled to help him with the 2016 election." Let's roll, AG Bondi. Obie has plenty to worry about. Gabbard made that quite clear. The msm's silence after Leavitt's presser won't go on for much longer. Revoke Obie's passport before he takes flight. Same for Billary, biden the cheater, Brennan, Coma, riceroni, and Axelod, among others. If Gabbard can effectively de-silo the people who tried to destroy Trump, Obie could well find himself wearing that orange jumpsuit. And Mike won't be pleased about losing her gravy train. The msm has a mighty big problem. Mass disapproval of its news product. How to coverup their false reporting about this russia hoax having lost all credibility.

Senior intelligence officials strenuously fought the demands of former FBI Director James Comey and other Obama intelligence chiefs to include the false and unverified Steele dossier in an official assessment of Russian activities ordered by President Barack Obama in the closing weeks of his presidency, records reviewed exclusively by The Federalist show. The records, which are related to ongoing criminal investigations into Comey and other top intelligence officials for their roles in launching the Russia collusion hoax, provide damning evidence of Obama intelligence chiefs’ malfeasance beyond the explosive information released Wednesday by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

Using a declassified document released this week, it has never been easier to see how the propaganda press partners with politicians to hoodwink the public and shape the political landscape. The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) and Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence, released a 2020 Oversight Investigation and Referral report about a 2016 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) titled, “Russia’s Influence Campaign Targeting the 2016 US Presidential Election.”

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard appears with Greta Van Susteren to discuss the ongoing release of Intelligence Community documents showing how President Obama’s intelligence officials conspired to manufacture a false intelligence assessment, frame Donald Trump and begin the Trump-Russia narrative. At the end of this trail of manufactured evidence, we will inevitably end up at the Robert Mueller investigation. The continuum of the Trump-Russia narrative starts with Hillary Clinton (Fusion GPS, Perkins Coie), then transfers to the FBI (James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok), which includes the DOJ National Security Division (AG Lynch, DAG Yates, Mary McCord), then goes through the backdoor to

The New York Post is sharing statements from Ghislaine Maxwell’s attorney following a second day of DOJ interviews with his client. However, I would be very cautious with anything said by Ms. Maxwell or her attorney David Oscar Markus. Both are prone to sensationalism as a legal strategy.  Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard just released a trove of apparently once-classified documents—with promises of much more to follow. The new material describes the role of the Obama administration’s intelligence and investigatory directors—purportedly along with President Obama himself—in undermining the 2016 Trump presidential campaign. In addition, their efforts extended to sabotaging the 2016-2017 presidential transition and, by extension, the first three years of the Trump presidency. The released documents add some new details to what over the last decade has become accepted knowledge.

Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN) and a host of bipartisan senators introduced legislation to deter foreign governments, including Mexico, from seizing American-owned assets. Hagerty, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, led his colleagues in introducing the Defending American Property Abroad Act, a bill that would impose retaliatory prohibitions to deter and subsequently punish any nation in the Western Hemisphere that unlawfully seizes American assets. Hagerty and lawmakers introduced the legislation in response to the Mexican government attempting to seize a deep-water port owned by the American-based Vulcan Materials Company in violation of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) that governs trade between America and its neighbor to the south.

It's striking how similar NPR's situation is to that of Planned Parenthood. Both organizations have an affiliate model and both just had a lot of federal money cut from their budgets. That means both are now hoping to find new sources of funding to keep the doors open. The NY Times reports there has been an increase in donations to PBS and NPR but so far the amount isn't nearly enough to offset the cuts. Over the last three months, as the prospect of the cuts intensified, roughly 120,000 new donors have contributed an estimated $20 million in annual value,

But Trump, who certainly has access to excellent legal advice, has just said that Obama has immunity from prosecution for any crimes he may have committed in conspiring to use falsified intelligence to undermine Trump's presidency, set up a phony impeachment, and perhaps put Trump in jail.
