Joe Biden’s DOJ at Work

Original Article

Posted By: Hazymac, 6/21/2025 8:51:45 AM

We know now that Joe Biden and Merrick Garland corrupted and politicized the Department of Justice to a degree never before seen in American history. Biden’s DOJ went after the Catholic Church and parents who didn’t like what their school boards were doing, and that was shameful. But target number one for Biden’s DOJ was Biden’s biggest political rival, Donald Trump. The Biden administration was a banana republic era in American history, in which our government weaponized law enforcement to try to imprison its most dangerous opponent. Senator Chuck Grassley is the whistleblower’s friend, and he has done as much as anyone to expose the corruption of the Biden era.

While I suspect that at least some of the die-hard DOJ (and FBI) leftists have left in a huff over Trump's re-election, I should hope that any still employed who participated in these shameful (and patently illegal) activities will be exposed and terminated for cause. Any who'd use the Nazi excuse, 'I was only following orders', ought to be glad American punishment PROBABLY won't include public hanging.

With their history, there should not be ONE DOJ employee left in that department that served under Biden and Garland. Not one. Someone is not doing their job.

Like it or not "government of, by, and for the people" isn't a reality unless the civil service is responsive to the officials the people elect. That's why there is a sharp distinction between policy-level officials who come and go with each change of administrations and career staff who do not. The Biden Administration was bad but making inappropriate Holocaust analogies only encourages "resistance" bureaucrats in their conceit that implementing the policies of the Trump Administration is tantamount to sending people to the gas chamber. Asserting that career staff deserve to be fired for not being insubordinate to Joe Biden hardly encourages them to faithfully implement the policies of Donald Trump.

It will take many years of hard work to flush the toilet that the Justice Department and the FBI has become.

My only disagreement is that Biden didn't know what day it was and couldn't have directed this himself. It was previous actors left over from Obama and likely, foreign agents. China comes to mind.

Trump just took back what Obama gave Iran 7 replies

It’s very early in the Iran nuclear story, but one thing is certain: What Barack Obama gave to Iran—millions and millions of dollars in cash on wooden pallets to make The Bomb—Trump just took back. Obama had no problems with Iran developing a nuclear weapon. The money he gave the Mullahs was to go toward that end. Islamophilic Obama thought that the country that vowed “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” had every right to have nuclear weapons with which to carry out those threats. Iran had been threatening to vaporize all of us with nukes for years. Obama apparently thought, “Why not?” and sent them

Think about this for a second, and I mean that: Is there anything good Democrats have added to your life? I’m not talking about “Democrats” ever – Thomas Jefferson having existed is obviously an easy net-plus for everyone’s life – but the current crop of Democrats who exist in Washington, DC, and pretty much anywhere else. The answer is no. AOC has no legislative accomplishments, and neither do any of the other members of the goon squad sniffing around her throne. A Hakeem Jeffries speech would not pass as a proof of life video. Nancy Pelosi may be legally dead.

It’s hot, it’s summer, the kids are home, you want to enjoy the break and not wade through hundreds of articles, mostly about ephemera or written by the ill-informed, so I’m going to do it for you. This week I highlight a few reports which I find sound. Because of space constraints and copyright issues, I can’t post them in their entirety but urge you to do so at your leisure. I found these articles which focus on the war, on President Trump’s foreign policy, the pushback from COVID tyranny and the Supreme Court’s ruling on deference to experts, the most significant matters of the week.

Local TV station broadcasts disinformation about a Trump pardon for an accused political assassin. You may think that you hate legacy media enough, but you don’t. We’ve written many times already about the horrific incidents last Friday night, where it is alleged that one Vance Boelter went on a killing spree in the Minneapolis suburbs, shooting and killing state Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, and shooting and wounding state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife. Both incidents occurred in the legislators’ respective homes. In a 90-minute rampage Friday night, Boelter is alleged to have done the two sets of shootings and also visited the homes of two other area legislators.

On the 10th anniversary of Obergefell v. Hodges (federally mandating “marriage equality”), it’s proper to ask whether same-sex marriage is a good idea. One reason to think that it’s not is the existence of an epistemic oddity, an oddity which strongly undermines any argument for same-sex marriage (hereafter “SSM”). The oddity in question is characterized by what may be called an "underdetermination asymmetry." Start with the following very simple observation. There are two ultimate positions in the SSM debate, and only two. On the one hand, there’s love or care as the basis of marriage, as in the view of SSM’s

In attacking numerous military targets in Iran on June 13, 2025 as part of its Operation Rising Lion, Israel made good on a 1981 policy announced by then Prime Minister Menachem Begin: ‘We shall defend our people with all the means at our disposal. We will not allow any enemy to obtain weapons of mass destruction that can be turned against us.’ While we hear international criticism of Israel for the attack, long forgotten is that Tehran’s mullahs actually recognized this same need a year before the Israelis announced their doctrine. By 1976, Saddam Hussein had become the de facto leader of Iraq, officially becoming president in 1979.

The source of this new twist is Kyle Harper, a classics professor at the University of Oklahoma. In 2017, he [offered] “an ambitious synthesis on the causes of the empire’s decline.” He argued that “the fate of Rome was played out by emperors and barbarians, senators and generals, soldiers, and slaves.

President Trump called up a modest number of California National Guardsmen to protect federal property and personnel during the Los Angeles riots. Governor Gavin Newsom brought a lawsuit alleging that Trump’s action was illegal. That case was initially heard by a Democratic Party judge in San Francisco, Charles Breyer, who ruled in Newsom’s favor and granted a temporary restraining order against Trump. The administration promptly appealed to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, which granted an administrative stay, maintaining the status quo (i.e., the Guard remained deployed) pending a hearing. Yesterday, following oral argument and extensive briefing, a three-judge panel of the 9th

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson unloaded on her Supreme Court colleagues Friday in a series of sharp dissents, castigating what she called a "pure textualism" approach to interpreting laws, which she said had become a pretext for securing their desired outcomes, and implying the conservative justices have strayed from their oath by showing favoritism to "moneyed interests." The attack on the court's conservative majority by the junior justice and member of the liberal wing is notably pointed and aggressive but stopped short of getting personal. It laid bare the stark divisions on the court and pent-up frustration in the minority over what Jackson described as inconsistent and unfair application of precedent

After days of publicly mulling whether to join Israel in its military campaign against Iran, President Trump directed the U.S. military on Saturday to execute a complex attack on three of the nation’s nuclear sites with several American warplanes and submarines. Hours later, Mr. Trump declared the mission a “spectacular military success,” saying during a national address from the White House that U.S. forces had “completely and totally obliterated,” Iran’s nuclear program. “There’s no military in the world that could have done what we did tonight, not even close,” he said, standing in front of Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

Trump said Thursday he would make a decision in the “next two weeks” to allow more time for negotiations, giving the sense of reprieve amid fevered speculation he might join Israel’s airstrikes. “Based on the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks,”

Six U.S. B-2 intercontinental manned strategic bombers took out Iran's deepest nuclear bomb development sites today, in what could well prove to be the most historic and important decision President Donald Trump will have made when he leaves office in 2029. The radical Muslim tyranny that has ruled Iran since Jimmy Carter was president in the late 1970s has been killing Americans for decades. Iran's murderous acts began with the bombing of the U.S. Marine barracks in Lebanon and continued through a terrible toll of more than 600 Americans as of this day.
