What the Hell Was That Tulsi Gabbard Video About?

Original Article

Posted By: JoElla Bee, 6/11/2025 3:36:46 PM

Let's talk about nuclear war, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard's weird video about nuclear war. President Donald Trump's onetime Democrat DNI released a campaign-style video this week, discussing the threat and real-world effects of nuclear weapons, following her recent visit to Hiroshima. Gabbard got raked over the coals by right-leaning critics, some conflating her remarks with an historically illiterate apology for Hiroshima and Nagasaki.[snip] Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) — no RINO squish — quipped, “She obviously needs to change her meds,"[snip] There’s also the question of why the president's DNI would make a campaign-style video.

Comments:

Her video is concerning. She calls on the people to “speak up and demand an end to this madness. We must reject this path to nuclear war.…” We know precisely who would have the loudest voices, and who would be blamed for that nuclear path.

We elected a POTUS who is doing all that he can to prevent the devastation of nuclear war. He hired her to help. Others have already called for “death to America“. That is our reality. Thankfully, if it comes to the ultimate necessity of prevention to end the threat, he will protect America first. As Margaret Thatcher once said, This is no time to go wobbly.” I hope this video isn’t an indication of that on her part.

She’s right about the threat but who are these political elites and warmongers she’s talking about? Lindsey Graham comes to mind. But he’s not the President. Trump isn’t going to be led into anything by Lindsey Graham. I don’t think they’re video is weird really. I just don’t get why she did it.

A lot of willful obtuseness and denial here. In the absence of any clear path to victory, the brinksmanship and bear-baiting by proxy now underway on the "Ukrainian front" poses very real dangers that won't disappear simply because we pretend they don't exist.

Several things can be true at once. The atomic bombings of Japan hastened the end of the war and saved lives. Japanese and American. As she stated, those were firecrackers compared to what nations have now. If you can just hand wave away millions of lives (with a modern nuke) you need to go stare long and hard in to a mirror. Pray, and I mean real honest to goodness Pray, (and as she states, pressure those even kinda blustering about their use) that NO ONE uses one ever again. If even ONE goes off, pretty much our way of life is over. The social, political and economic fallout would engulf the world.

Wonder if this is a pretext for an attack on Iranian nuke facilities? The good lord knows that those folks would have no qualms about using them as soon as they could.

I've heard the audio of this ad. I think it's an expression of her concern about the possibility of the use of nuclear weapons in the near future. I didn't watch the video. I did take exception to the assertion that Senator Kennedy is not a RINO squish. I don't think he's a squish, but he does appear to be a RINO to me. He's a funny, folksy RINO, so he is entertaining.

Louisiana doesn’t do everything right. Senator Bill Cassidy remaining in office is a clear depiction of that. In light of the insane protests we’ve seen from the far left over the past week (the same far left that has been fighting to keep illegal aliens from deportation), the Louisiana Freedom Caucus sent out a strong reminder to citizens of the state—essentially reminding them that if they feel threatened by protestors while in their car, they can legally run them over.

In response to a threat by Iran to attack U.S. bases in the region, the State and Defense Departments have authorized the evacuation of dependents and non-essential staff from embassies and bases in the region, mainly Iraq, Kuwait and Bahrain. The threat by Iran comes as negotiations between the U.S. and Iran over the fate of Iran’s nuclear program continue, with the U.S. insisting Iran give up enrichment to prevent attainment of nuclear weapons or face military attacks on its nuclear facilities by either the U.S. or Israel.

During its live coverage of the violent demonstrations rocking downtown LA, ABC7 Los Angeles anchor Jory Rand cautioned law enforcement from escalating tensions by interfering. "It could turn very volatile if you move law enforcement in there in the wrong way, and turn what is just a bunch of people having fun watching cars burn into a massive confrontation and altercation between officers and demonstrators," he said.

Immigrants don’t need to have the right to vote to affect elections in the United States — simply by being here, they can tip the scales. The apportionment of House seats and votes in the Electoral College among the states is based on total population — not citizenship or legal status. The Census Bureau is clear that naturalized citizens, as well as non-citizens such as green card holders, foreign students, guestworkers and illegal immigrants are captured in the census every 10 years.

There’s a plausible argument that the current spate of civil unrest in deep blue cities is actually a MAGA setup ultimately benefitting Donald J. Trump. Indeed, the “optics” resemble an over-the-top horror movie for the Democrats: giant Mexican flags brandished over burning car wrecks; chunks of cement dropped on police from freeway overpasses; uncontrolled looting; a curfew ignored; molotov cocktails thrown; childishly scrawled f-word graffiti, and vast arrays of mostly young but physically unattractive people. Where’s the mass appeal in that picture? Hollywood would reject a script like that as unbelievable and disgusting.
