As a committed interventionist, John Bolton is, you’ll be shocked to learn, not on board with eliminating the Deep State’s cash cow that is USAID. In voicing his dissatisfaction with the work of DOGE vis-à-vis USAID, he also pledged to bring back Voice of America, the U.S. government’s global propaganda machine. (For the last decade and longer, prior to its dismantling by the Trump administration, Voice of America had also distributed its content domestically, explicitly targeted at a domestic audience, illegally.) I speak as an alumnus of AID in the Reagan administration back when we were trying to reform it…

Bolton is the classic Republican who wants to win to implement policy that doesn't work. He wants "reform" that just changes a sleazy operation into another form of sleazy operation, and usually spends even more money. The best way to WIN when dealing with government is to END it's actions and limit what it can do. The government is under NO constraints to work efficiently, effectively, or economically and most of what it does is cumbersome, doesn't accomplish its goals, and costs far too much. Why? Because it doesn't have to do any of these things. It only has to TALK about intentions and create processes that are "addressing" the issues. There is no accountability for the continual failure of government. Therefore the less of it, the better. If something needs to get done, let a private group of people seek an affordable and effective means to deal with the problem.

A Michigan antisemite was plotting to massacre kids at a Jewish daycare and tried to illegally buy assault weapons after hurling threats at the preschoolers, federal prosecutors have revealed. Hassan Chokr, 35, was out on bail when he drove through the parking lot of Temple Beth El in Bloomfield Hills, outside Detroit, and shouted antisemitic slurs and threats as parents dropped off their kids in December 2022, authorities said. He pleaded guilty to federal gun charges on May 28. US Attorney Jerome F. The suspect in Sunday’s antisemitic terror attack in Colorado hoped to pull off a mass shooting, but his immigration status prevented him from buying a gun — and he now faces up to 624 years behind bars if convicted in the horror, officials said Monday. Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, admitted to a detective that he initially planned on gunning down his victims, even taking a concealed-carry class where he learned how to fire a weapon, authorities said. But the Egyptian national was blocked from purchasing the weapon because his US visa had expired, Judicial District Attorney Michael Dougherty said at a press conference Monday afternoon in Boulder.

The New York Times columnist likened the billionaire Tesla CEO to infamous mass murderers in history on “PBS Newshour” as he blasted the cuts to USAID under Musk’s leadership of the Department of Government Efficiency. “So far, 55,000 adults have died of AIDS in the four months since Trump was elected; 6,000 children are dead because of what DOGE did. That’s just PEPFAR, the HIV. You add them all up, that’s 300,000 dead, and we’re four months in,” Brooks claimed.

Palmeri interrupted to refute his claim that political violence is a left-wing problem by bringing up the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot, but Jennings noted that it was “one bad day” rather than a pattern.

Khelif dominated all female opponents to win the gold in women’s boxing at the 2024 event. Still, the win was marred by controversy because the Algerian had been disqualified from competing as a female in 2022 and 2023 by the International Boxing Association (IBA) due to concerns about the validity of Khelif’s gender tests.

“Never let a good crisis go to waste.” The phrase is often attributed to Winston Churchill, as well as former Barack Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin (D) is apparently taking that message to heart and is using Sunday’s tragic terror attack in Boulder, Colorado by a deranged antisemite against marchers from the American Jewish group "Run for Their Lives" to push for an agenda that has nothing to do with the assault: gun control. If only we could get rid of those dreaded "military style assault weapons," attacks like this wouldn't happen. The problem with his mind-boggling assessment? No guns were used in the attack.

Goldman also attacked ICE and federal agents for wearing masks during immigration enforcement. He even questioned them for wearing plain clothes in a bizarre attack - as though police marking down a suspect would/should wear police outfits that would scare off the person they're trying to arrest.

However, the bomber visibility is required as part of several nuclear agreements between the USA and Russia (SALT and START). Our U.S. long range nuclear capable bombers, covered under the same agreements, are also visible. Ukraine President Zelenskyy is playing with fire by targeting them, which also explains why Zelenskyy never told President Trump in advance. The U.S and NATO have provided the means. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) released a "comprehensive" report on Iran's nuclear program requested by the agency's 35-member board. The report confirmed that Iran had been carrying out clandestine nuclear activity at three sites long suspected of conducting weapons research. It also concluded that Iran had vastly increased its stockpile of highly enriched uranium (HEU), spinning up 50% more as of May 17 than they had previously reported. That translates into the capability to construct up to nine nuclear bombs.
