This Memorial Day weekend came at a lousy time: The Democratic Party was teetering towards an all-out civil war, and the holiday weekend messed up the momentum. What fun is that? Beer, burgers, and babes in bikinis are good (along with, y’know, the actual meaning of Memorial Day), but what about the Democratic Party and their circular firing squad? Did it disband? Nope. The Holiday weekend was merely a momentary pause — the calm before the chaos. Along with the unexpected news drop of Biden’s cancer announcement, Memorial Day didn’t avert the civil war. Ukrainian forces have wiped out dozens of Russian military aircraft, including nuclear bombers, in a massive drone attack on President Vladimir Putin’s air bases deep inside the country, Kyiv sources are claiming.
The mission carried out by Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) using first-person-view (FPV) drones hit 41 Russian heavy bombers at four separate airfields thousands of miles from Ukraine, a security source told the Kyiv Independent on Sunday.
The drones were reportedly smuggled into the country hidden in trucks.

A proposal that’s passed both chambers would allow some immigrants to become driving instructors in Illinois. In the state, non U.S. citizens can apply for a special drivers license called a Temporary Visitor Drivers License or TVDL.
You might ask, “Where did that TVDL come from?” We’ve had a Democrat-controlled state legislature since 2003, and they currently have supermajorities in both chambers. Except for a single-term RINO governor in 2015–18, we’ve also had 100% Democrat governors since 2003.

A few Democratic officeholders, activists, and pundits are finally coming to their senses that their brand is toxic to a majority of the American people.
The Biden administration killed what was left of it in a number of ways. First, it serially lied to Americans about the cognitive decline and cancerous condition of President Joe Biden, both while in and after office.
Only when caught did the complicit media fess up that the Biden inner circle serially misled the American people about Biden's inability to fulfill the duties of the presidency.
Second, left-wing politicos used Biden as a waxen effigy. His job was to pose as a "moderate"
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt absolutely smoked former First Lady Jill Biden for her involvement in the cover-up of former President Joe Biden's mental and physical decline and said she definitely needs to answer questions for it. During a White House press briefing on Thursday, Leavitt said, "I think, frankly, the former first lady should certainly speak up about what she saw, in regards to her husband and when she saw it, and what she knew."
Leavitt said that anyone who was paying attention could see the apparent decline in Biden and could see "this was a clear cover-up."
On Wednesday, President Donald Trump’s “Liberation Day” collided with deliberation day in the courts, and it did not go well. The Court of International Trade ruled that the President lacks the authority to impose his massive tariffs worldwide.
But all is not lost for Trump’s tariffs.
The three-judge panel held that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977 (IEEPA) does not give the president “such unbounded authority.”
While some have criticized the court as a “judicial coup,” it is a well-reasoned and good-faith decision from judges appointed by Presidents Ronald Reagan, Barack Obama, and Trump.

FBI confirms: Nellie Ohr lied to Congress

Newly declassified documents from a 2019 FBI analysis released on May 28, 2025 show that Nellie Ohr allegedly “knowingly“ provided false testimony under oath to Congress about her actions related to the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. Ohr was a Fusion GPS contractor who provided research and intel in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, played a central role in pushing for declassification of the analysis.
An analysis of the documents concluded that Ohr’s statements obstructed congressional investigations and violated federal statutes 18 USC §1001 (false statements) and 18 USC §1505 (obstruction of proceedings before departments, agencies, and congressional committees).

At the outset, let me state my bona fides. I voted for Trump three times. I publicly supported his candidacy back when the media deemed him and his supporters like me stupid racists.
That was back when “Trump is literally Hitler” was the meme of the moment amongst the kind of people who don’t know the meaning of Hitler and don’t know the meaning of “literally.” Which is to say, most of the current mainstream media.
For the record, Trump is not Hitler, not literally or metaphorically, nor is he a fascist.
Contrary to popular belief engendered by the lamestream media, the word “fascist” does not mean “Republican.”
Lester Holt hosted his last “NBC Nightly News” show on Friday after a 14 year tenure as its anchor. The highly decorated reporter bid viewers a farewell by reminding them of their core values that guide the team’s coverage.
“I’m so grateful for your trust around here,. Facts matter, words matter, journalism matters, and you matter,” Holt said.“Over the last decade, we have shared some dark and harrowing days and nights of our country, the pandemic, mass shootings, natural disasters, each testing our resilience and our compassion. Bongino slammed former FBI Director James Comey - whom he termed a "big child" - explaining that his "86 47" post had now spawned copycats which the FBI now had to take time to investigate. Meanwhile, Comey is hitting the shows trying to promote his book and continuing to make twisted remarks. One of the other astonishing things Bongino revealed was that they found hidden bags of evidence "not processed through the normal procedure.

As previously noted, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley released some of the FBI investigative files related to a congressional referral of Nellie Ohr for false testimony to congress. Within the Grassley release the declassified FBI investigative notes show that Trump-Russia files were compartmentalized, allowing control over access to them by the FBI Director and FBI Deputy Director.
The 7th floor level classification within the FBI’s Sentinel record-keeping system was previously unknown, and now people are starting to ask questions about what other information may be filed yet invisible due to the classification designation of “Prohibited Access.”
