The desperate Dems, pole-axed by Trump’s fast start on his second term, have revved up their TDS Rube Goldberg scandal machine. The so-called SignalGate affair is being vigorously flogged, with the usual help from Republican Fifth Columnists. But the “-gate” suffix doesn’t mean what the Democrats think it does. Recently, a group meeting including Trump, Vice President Vance, Def Sec Peter Hegseth, and other defense and national security officials, convened to discuss a punitive attack on Yemen’s Houthi terrorists, and inadvertently included Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg, best known for his inveterate, hysterical hatred of Donald Trump, and his eager peddling of the preposterous Russia hoax.

Sorens published a state-by-state ranking of gambling freedom across America. Nevada lets gambling flourish, while Utah, Hawaii and Georgia ban most of it.

Philadelphia mayor Cherelle Parker moved to ban arcade-style gambling machines found in gas stations and convenience stores, loftily saying, "It's not OK to tempt our residents ... to gamble away their hard-earned dollars."

Because it suits their needs. Big money donors and poor people in crisis who think they need ‘compassionate’ Democrats’ help.
The ‘American Dream’ was that any normal person who worked hard and saved could have a house and a relatively comfortable — and meaningful — life, expecting to live better and longer than their parents did. That dream has turned into a pipe dream for many.

That could be the request in salons across the country under a scheme that aims to train hairdressers and barbers to get conversations going about one of the most hair-raising issues facing humanity.
‘A Brush With Climate’ is inspired by a movement that started in Sydney, Australia when a salon owner looked to see how to use their renowned conversational skills to get chats going about solutions to the climate crisis.
Four towns are to be chosen under the pilot scheme with local hairdressers and barbers invited to become involved.

When Ultimate Pool crowns a women's champion for the Pro Series event on Sunday, the winner will be a biological male. That's because both the finalists, Harriet Haynes and Lucy Smith, are males who "identify" as women.
Haynes finished the 2024 season as the top-ranked women's player in the Ultimate Pool Pro Series and appears on the way to defending that title in 2025. Haynes also finished as the top-ranked player in 2022 and finished second in 2023. Lucy Smith finished sixth in 2024 and fifth in 2023.

Mystal is not an illegal immigrant (he was born in Queens, and his father was a prominent political figure in Suffolk County, New York—a legal Haitian migrant), nor does he have a student visa.

Earlier this week, Matt Taibbi was called as a witness by the Republican majority of a subcommittee of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Before his testimony began, Democratic Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove slandered him:
Sydney Kamlager-Dove, a Democrat representing California’s 37th district in Los Angeles, began her opening remarks in a House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee hearing Tuesday with a comment directed to me. “To distract from the dumpster fire this administration is pursuing,” she said, the Republicans were “elevating a serial sexual harrasser as their star witness.”
That assertion was an outrageous lie, but presumably Ms. Kamlager-Dove believed she was protected by the Constitution’s Speech and Debate Clause,
You would think that geeks would spend their time and effort on geeking out.

I used to read a lot of tech blogs, but over the past few years I have cut more and more of them out of my regular reading rotation. The first reason was that I would go to read up on the latest neat stuff and suddenly be treated to glowing reviews of sex toys and masturbation aids, and I was afraid that soon enough, I would be given top 10 lists

The White House press corps declared war on the Trump administration on Inauguration Day, and the administration has responded, but only mildly. Most recently, by taking control over the seating of reporters in the White House briefing room. You might think that something so trivial would not engage the attention of the Left, but you would be wrong.

Democrats thought they had a great issue in the high price of eggs, due mostly to avian bird flu. In January, they were touting record-high egg prices as proof of the failure of Trump’s administration–even though the figures released in January were for December, before Trump’s inauguration.
Weirdly, the Democrats’ harping on eggs has continued even as the price has plummeted, as in this LA Times column, published on March 8:

DOGE Chief Elon Musk revealed that those funding violent attacks against Tesla dealerships have been identified and suggested criminal charges would be imminent.
Musk appeared on Tuesday for an interview with the "The Five" panel to discuss a wide range of topics. Kennedy asked him about the ongoing violence directed at Tesla, wondering how Musk could possibly "talk the unhinged off the ledge."
"It is remarkable that there is so much violence," he replied. "People have burnt cars, they've fired bullets into dealerships. They have scratched swastikas into Teslas of innocent people that—that are just going about their lives."
