Canadian-born Neil Young is worried he may be barred from returning to the U.S. by President Donald Trump’s administration after his upcoming European tour, lamenting Tuesday his outspokenness against Trump may make him a target for summary retribution.
The musician made his fears public on his Neil Young Archives website, saying:
When I go to play music in Europe, if I talk about Donald J. Trump, I may be one of those returning to America who is barred or put in jail to sleep on a cement floor with an aluminum blanket.
That is happening all the time now. Countries have new advice for those returning to America.

A group of Republican senators voted along with Democrats on Wednesday for a resolution to undo President Trump’s 25 percent tariffs on Canadian imports, dealing an embarrassing blow to Trump.
The resolution expresses the sense of the Senate and doesn’t have the force of law, but its 51-48 passage is unwelcome news for the president on the very day he announced a host of new tariffs.
Four Republicans — Sens. Rand Paul (Ky.), Susan Collins (Maine), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) and Mitch McConnell (Ky.) — voted for the measure.
They voted to express their disapproval of Trump’s tariffs on Canada

Michelle Obama reflected on dating her now-husband, Barack Obama, before he started his career and found financial success.
During Wednesday’s episode of her “IMO” podcast, the former first lady and her brother/co-host, Craig Robinson, chatted about money in relationships.
“Would you be attracted to a guy who’s not financially sound when you meet him?” Robinson questioned, to which Michelle responded, “Uh, I married one.” (Photos) “I left my corporate firm when I met Barack,” she later explained. “I had somebody who was like, ‘I got your back. The risks you think you’re taking, they aren’t that crazy, and I’m here to help you.'”

Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Ed Markey claimed Tuesday President Donald Trump channeled “McCarthyism” by threatening to pull over $200 million in federal funds for Harvard University.
The Trump administration is investigating the Ivy League school over its failure to address antisemitism on campus, particularly since the Oct. 7, 2023 attack by the radical Islamic terrorist group Hamas that killed over 1,200 people in Israel. Markey claimed the crackdown on antisemitism would “turn out very poorly” for the United States. [Video]
“Look, anti-Semitism is wrong, anti-Semitism must be fought, anti-Semitism is something that we cannot tolerate in our nation,” Markey claimed. “But authoritarianism is not the answer to anti-Semitism.

Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Prime” that the Democrats have planned so-called shadow hearings to “expose” the Trump administration’s “corruption.”
Co-host Alicia Menendez said, “You announced today a set of hearings are going to have next week with fired DOJ officials. What is it you are hoping to learn from them?”
Schiff said, “Well, today as you know, we saw the case, the corruption case against the mayor of New York dismissed with prejudice. That means that case can never be brought again. It wasn’t dismissed because of a lack of evidence.

MSNBC contributor Claire McCaskill claimed Wednesday on “Morning Joe” that President Donald Trump was deporting people because he didn’t “like their opinion.”
McCaskill said, “The underpinning for this whole thing is this idea that we’re at war with Venezuela, and therefore, these people need to be deported without due process, without the court’s involvement. Clearly, everybody in America wants violent criminals who are here illegally out of the country, end of discussion, full stop. So let’s do it according to our laws. It’s not that hard. It doesn’t have to take a lot of time.”
She continued, “We have been a beacon to the world for the brightest minds to come to

Brown University has opened an investigation into a student for sending emails to administrators asking them what they do in a day.
The 20-year-old sophomore at the university, Alex Shieh, sent emails to all 3,805 administrators at Brown asking them to “Describe what tasks you performed in the past week.” Now the school is investigating him for inflicting “Emotional/Psychological Harm” on the staff, according to documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.
School officials accuse Shieh of obtaining confidential information and are requiring him to send proof he has deleted the content, essentially requiring the student to incriminate himself, something that Brown’s policies are supposed to protect him from.

As the Gateway Pundit recently reported, the Trump administration is planning to take over the seating chart in the briefing room, a power once held by the far-left White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA).
Members of the WHCA, who are apparently a bunch of toddlers throwing a tantrum over the change, considered doing a 1960s style ‘sit-in’ protest in order to object to the changes.
The left views the entire world as a liberal college campus. This is just more proof of that.

One of former President Joe Biden’s senior aides admitted in a new book that the 82-year-old couldn’t grasp the back and forth of debate and would fall asleep by the pool while they prepped for his showdown with Trump, according to a book excerpt.
Top Biden aide Ron Klain, who helped the former president with debate prep, was “half-seriously” wondering if Biden believed he was the president of NATO rather than the president of the United States, according to the excerpt of Chris Whipple’s new book published by The Guardian. While they prepped, Klain reportedly told Whipple that the then 81-year-old president “didn’t know what Trump had been saying
