Tucker Carlson decided to swap out his American-made pickup after spotting a terrifying warning.
Carlson is a noted fan of Chevrolets, saying he's 'always had' the brand, even having expressed his love of 1987 Silverado having no electronics last year.
During a recent interview, the conservative commentator said he was filling his Chevy truck's gas tank when a startling message flashed across the infotainment screen.
All of a sudden at a gas station, it says, "Stop, we're downloading information from the internet,"' he claimed in during an interview with gearhead Casey Putsch.

President Donald Trump said he wants Elon Musk to stay on his team “as long as possible” during a conversation with reporters Thursday, adding DOGE had found something “horrible” without divulging details.
The president made his remarks during a conversation with reporters on Air Force One after Trump was asked how much longer Musk would stay on as a “special government employee.”
The questions followed a report from Politico this week claiming Trump had told his inner circle that Musk will be leaving his role as a “special government employee” with DOGE soon. The report cited internal frustrations with Musk’s “unpredictability” and his potential to be a “political liability.”

The Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights under President Joe Biden held multiple stakeholder meetings with leftist groups—including the Human Rights Campaign—while attempting to finalize its pro-transgender Title IX rules, new documents show.
Between April 2023, when the civil rights office released its first draft of rules, and April 2024, when it released the rules that would be finalized in August, the office convened quarterly meetings with leaders of left-leaning groups that support gender ideology, according to documents obtained by Protect the Public’s Trust and exclusively given to The Daily Signal. The administration faced heavy pushback and delayed the rules.
While the department scrapped the rules on Jan. 31 under

As if we needed any further evidence that illegal immigrant criminals were a real problem, we learn Thursday that the beleaguered city of Aurora, Colorado, has now had another problem with illegal aliens - this one, at least, has been resolved, for the moment. On Thursday, the Aurora Police Department released information that a sophisticated burglary ring, consisting of Columbian nationals, was picked up and jailed after a "thorough and exhaustive investigation."
A crew of "highly sophisticated" Colombian nationals has been arrested in Aurora, Colorado, after allegedly targeting and burglarizing nearly two dozen homes, authorities revealed.

MSNBC host Al Sharpton, who has for years criticized law enforcement for the "over-policing" of "low-level crimes," threatened to hand anyone who disrupted his New York City mayoral candidate forum "over to the po-po" and said he'd "sign the complaint myself."
Sharpton issued the warning during the second day of his National Action Network nonprofit's annual convention. He told the majority-black audience at the Sheraton in Times Square that he would take a zero-tolerance policy toward outbursts.
"If you think you can force your candidate down our throat, we will see you when you get out of jail," said Sharpton. "I’ve instructed all our security to just remove you and hand

A CNN panel discussion went off the rails on Wednesday after a guest who had served in President Joe Biden’s administration claimed that then-Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin had “never compromised American lives.”
Dan Koh, who was the White House Deputy Cabinet Secretary during the Biden administration, began the exchange by suggesting that military leadership in President Donald Trump’s administration was putting people at risk and “no one was facing consequences.”
“That’s when people check out and realize that their democracy may not be what they thought it was,” Koh continued.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested over 30 people working for a roofing company in Washington on Wednesday.
An ICE spokesperson confirmed on Wednesday that the agency arrested 37 people employed with Mount Baker Roofing in Bellingham, a city near the Canadian border, charging they “fraudulently represented their immigration status and submitted fraudulent documents.”
The arrest stemmed from an ongoing criminal investigation, per King5.
Mark Kuske, owner of Mount Baker Roofing, said in a statement that those arrested were “actively supporting our community” and were active in the area for years.

The White House is rescheduling one of its annual spring garden tour dates due to a “massive” anti-Trump demonstration expected to take place near 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
The spring garden tours that were scheduled for Saturday have been pushed a day later, to Sunday, the White House announced Thursday.
“This decision has been made out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the safety of all within proximity to public demonstrations planned near the White House on April 5,” a statement said.
The move comes as crowds are expected to gather on the National Mall in Washington on Saturday for a “Hands Off!” rally.

Ford on Thursday announced a new, lower-cost vehicle pricing plan – “From America, For America” – following President Trump unveiling the previous day 25% tariffs on non-American-made vehicles.
The spring plan will offer employee pricing to potential customers for most vehicles – electric, gas-powered and hybrid – with the exception of some higher-end models include Navigator SUVs.
Ford’s chief policy officer, Steve Croley, confirmed the plan Thursday morning on The Fox News Channel.
Addressing customer concerns and uncertainty about the tariffs he said, “We want them to be assured that Ford, the most American auto company, is going to do right by them, as are our dealers.”

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a month for website changes before canceling the contract and having an internal staffer take over, according to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
While combing through loads and loads of data, DOGE discovered a previous contract by the VA for its website maintenance.
"Good work by @DeptVetAffairs," DOGE said in a post on X on Wednesday. "VA was previously paying ~$380,000/month for minor website modifications. That contract has not been renewed, and the same work is now being executed by 1 internal VA software engineer spending ~10 hours/week."

There have been a lot of dumb lawsuits against the Trump administration, but the one by the International Refugee Assistance Project representing World Church Services, HIAS and Lutheran Community Services is particularly dumb.
One of the Pacito v. Trump plaintiffs is ‘Ahmed’, an Afghan man currently in Germany, on account of Biden’s mass evacuation, and the lawsuit insists that he be allowed to come to America because “he does not know the German language, which prevents him from working in Germany to support himself”.
And it’s somehow easier to dump him in America than spend 10 Euros on a DuoLingo subscription.
The failure to learn German does not make Ahmed a refugee.

In the first full month after Kash Patel was confirmed as FBI director on February 20, the FBI received a record number of new agent applications.
5,577 new applications were filed in March, after 2023 saw a monthly average of 2,797 applications, and 2024’s monthly average was 3,383. The most recent month that saw a number approximating March was April 2016, when 5,283 applications were filed, Fox News reported.
“Director Patel and Deputy Director Bongino have put a major emphasis on restoring confidence in federal law enforcement and boosting new agent recruiting,” FBI spokesman Ben Williamson told Fox News Digital. “These record early returns certainly suggest
