The White House is rescheduling one of its annual spring garden tour dates due to a “massive” anti-Trump demonstration expected to take place near 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. The spring garden tours that were scheduled for Saturday have been pushed a day later, to Sunday, the White House announced Thursday. “This decision has been made out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the safety of all within proximity to public demonstrations planned near the White House on April 5,” a statement said. The move comes as crowds are expected to gather on the National Mall in Washington on Saturday for a “Hands Off!” rally.

IOW, more Soros-paid actors will be on the payroll for a few hours to stage a mass hissy-fit. Hopefully, they'll be a little more subtle than the Tesla protestors from a couple Saturdays ago and not just all walk off right at "quitting time".

I was able to take the outside tour about 35 years ago because a nice lady at a visitors' kiosk told me about it. It was a long line around a designated path on the grounds. We walked thru the Rose Garden. No photos permitted in the Rose Garden. I took a quick photo of my daughter outside the Rose Garden. The tour included a few rooms inside the WH.

Just ask any one of the deluded, moronic, rent-a-mob attendees what they are protesting - - and see what kind of answer you get. I can understand the ones who are doing it for money - - they're probably hard-up with no prospect of getting any more. But the ones who are there "voluntarily"? Sick. Sick-sick-sick. And stupid-stupid-stupid.

The ATF and FBI have been monitoring gun purchases made by California residents to bust them for violating the state’s assault weapons ban. Gun Owners of America (GOA) recently revealed that the ATF and FBI have been using the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) to surveil lawful gun owners to help the Golden State enforce their gun control laws. In a recent “Minute Man Moment” episode, GOA’s Ben Sanderson broke down the operation, noting that the FBI, initially tasked with targeting violent gangs and cartels, has instead been “using unconstitutional investigations, not to enforce federal, but state gun control laws.” Sanderson explained that federal and state law enforcement

A group of Democrats on the House Homeland Security Committee is visiting the southern border Friday, a visit that “comes years too late,” according to Rep. Mark Green, the Republican chairman of the committee. “It’s no coincidence that committee Democrats are choosing to visit the border after President [Donald] Trump cleaned up the mess created by the Biden administration,” said Green, R-Tenn. The Democrat delegation is visiting the San Diego Border Sector to “conduct oversight” of the Trump administration’s handling of the situation at the southern border, according to Fox News. But the visit is closed to press.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced Friday it will not be finalizing a rule proposed by the Biden administration that would have allowed Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries access to anti-obesity drugs such as the highly in-demand GLP-1 medications. In November last year, the Biden administration proposed a new rule that would allow drugs like Wegovy and Zepbound to be covered by Medicare and Medicaid, expanding access for roughly 3.4 million Medicare users and about 4 million Medicaid enrollees.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris was reportedly blindsided by her 2024 election loss to President Donald Trump and “bought the hype” that she would win, according to a new book. “She was completely shocked, and [Harris’ running mate] Tim Walz was shocked,” The Hill reporter Amie Parnes said on the podcast, “Somebody’s Gotta Win with Tara Palmeri” released Thursday. Parnes discussed reporting in her new book, “FIGHT: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House,” which she co-authored with NBC reporter Jonathan Allen. The book tackles

For too long, politicians and bureaucrats have been fleecing the public purse under the guise of “environmental justice” — a favorite leftist buzzword. Instead of directly fixing actual environmental problems with our precious taxpayer dollars, the Biden Environmental Protection Agency lit them on fire to fund cronies and activist groups. Under the Trump administration, that’s coming to an end — and as EPA administrator, I’ve gone on the road to help put the president’s promises into practice. Many American communities are suffering with serious unresolved environmental issues, but under the “environmental justice” banner, the previous administration’s EPA showered billions on ideological allies, instead of directing those resources

A coalition of Democratic-led states and immigrant rights groups is urging the Supreme Court to preserve birthright citizenship and uphold a nationwide block on a Trump administration order denying citizenship to the U.S.-born children of undocumented immigrants and temporary visitors. In a series of response filings Friday, respondents from 24 states asked the justices to reject President Donald Trump’s emergency request to narrow multiple lower court injunctions that have frozen his January order. They argued that maintaining the long-standing legal status quo is not an abuse of judicial power.

The North Carolina Court of Appeals has ordered 60,000 voters who submitted ballots without key identification information to prove their eligibility or have their votes tossed in the still-undecided 2024 state Supreme Court race. The 2-1 Friday decision was the first legal victory for conservative Jefferson Griffin in his bid to unseat incumbent liberal justice Allison Riggs on the Tar Heel State’s high court. Recounts showed Riggs leading Griffin by 734 votes before Griffin challenged the eligibility of roughly 60,000 ballots, halting the race’s certification.

The Department of the Interior announced Friday that it will hold an offshore oil and gas lease sale in the Gulf of America as part of its efforts to boost production and drive consumer prices down. The agency said it expects to publish a notice of sale in June, which will formally initiate the lease sale process. Undiscovered fields in the Gulf of America contain an estimated 29.59 billion barrels of oil and 54.84 trillion cubic feet of natural gas—resources that could be a boon to the American economy and help curb prices, according to the Interior Department.

A divided Supreme Court sided with the Trump administration by allowing officials to block $65 million in teacher development grants frozen over concerns they were promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practices. The 5-4 emergency ruling, for now, lifts a lower order that forced the Education Department to resume the grants in eight Democratic-led states that are suing. Five of the court’s six conservatives sided with the administration to grant the request. Chief Justice John Roberts and the court’s three liberal justices dissented.

Remember how, after the September 11, 2001, attacks, the shock of a massive, deadly assault on our homeland was followed by the secondary shock of learning that a large chunk of the Muslim world had long been at war with us? And we hadn't even known it? That's what's happening now in the aftermath of Trump's Liberation Day declaration. He wisely called his new import duties regimen "Reciprocal Tariffs," because that's what they are. President Trump didn't start this war; he's simply the first leader we've had in generations clear-headed enough to say, "Stop kicking us!"
