Trump will be inaugurated as the nation’s 47th president on January 20, and reports indicate that he plans to arrive at the Oval Office armed with over 100 executive orders dealing with border and energy security. He met with Republican senators Wednesday and talked about his plans, and some of the participants are revealing what he said.
During a Thursday morning appearance on "Fox & Friends" Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., said that Trump indicated that there are almost 100 executive orders to address issues like border security and U.S. energy.
"He threw that out — 100 — there could be like 100 EOs, yeah. I believe him,"

Recently, Meta (a.k.a. Facebook) CEO, owner, founder, and cyborg Mark Zuckerberg has been all over the news. First, he made liberal heads explode by donating seven figures to the Trump inauguration, making a pilgrimage from his Hawaiian mansion to Mar-a-Lago to play footsie with the president-elect. Next, he announced the biggest shift in Facebook censoring policies in years: No longer will users be banned, punished, or blocked for commenting on sensitive political issues. Hell, if you wanna call a trans person mentally ill, have at it.
Zuck even went as far as removing the tampons from the men’s bathroom. (GASP!)
And to cap it off, he appointed Trump ally Dana White

Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis, as usual, hit the nail right on the head the other day.
Fox News headlined:
DeSantis calls for media to hold Democratic California leaders accountable for wildfires: 'Have not seen that’
DeSantis said he'd like to 'see some balance' in how Democrat and Republican leaders are treated by some media
The story reported as follows, with bold print for emphasis supplied: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis called out a reporter on Thursday for the lack of blame being placed on California leaders for the devastating wildfires, pointing out that it's in stark contrast to how Republican leaders are often treated in the wake of disasters.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) revealed that firefighters from Mexico were coming to assist with the ongoing Eaton Fire.
In a post on X, Newsom expressed gratefulness for Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum’s “support” as California officials “work to suppress the Los Angeles wildfires.” Newsom has received criticism from California residents who have demanded to know what he is going to do in response to the wildfires.
Newsom added that the firefighters coming from Mexico would be “joining more than 10,000 personnel already on the ground.”

Former Vice President Mike Pence revealed that he congratulated President-elect Donald Trump on his win in the presidential election during former President James Earl “Jimmy” Carter Jr.’s funeral.
In an interview with Christianity Today, Pence revealed that Trump “greeted” Pence as he was coming down the aisle, and Pence congratulated him on his win against Vice President Kamala Harris in the November presidential election. Carter passed away at the age of 100 at the end of December.
“He greeted me when he came down the aisle,” Pence told the outlet. “I stood up, extended my hand. He shook my hand. I said, ‘Congratulations, Mr. President,’ and he said, ‘Thanks, Mike.'”

Members of the Hollywood elite are having a collective meltdown in response to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announcing his company will start embracing free speech on its platforms Facebook, Instagram, and Threads platforms.
As Breitbart News reported, Zuckerberg stunned the world Tuesday when he revealed there would be major changes to content moderation policies on his platforms, citing a desire to embrace free speech and avoid censorship. Special counsel Jack Smith, who brought two criminal investigations against Donald Trump, resigned on Friday ahead of the president-elect’s inauguration.
Smith’s expected departure was revealed in a court filing that Justice Department officials submitted to U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon in Florida on Saturday, asking her to refrain from extending a court order used to block the release of Smith’s final confidential report summarizing the two federal Trump probes. Those cases are now closed.

This is getting to be a tsunami of DEI defections, and how delicious!
Just this afternoon, another big name in the wokest game on Earth decided they were cashing in their chips before public opinion - and an incoming Trump administration - cashed them in for them.
An Amazon email last month announced to employees that the company was scaling back and consolidating some of its DEI programs - trimming around the edges on some of those 'initiatives' - although which ones were on the chopping block were spelled out.
Amazon said it is halting some of its diversity and inclusion initiatives, joining a growing list

The "extraordinary victory" took place on November 5th. Today was just the lame anti-climax.
Despite the fact that Judge Juan Merchan telegraphed his no-consequences sentence -- and that the Supreme Court made it clear that Merchan had to follow through -- the outcome of the Alvin Bragg prosecution stunned CNN's panel immediately afterward. Noting that an "unconditional discharge" rarely gets applied in felony convictions, the commentators grudgingly admitted Donald Trump won in the end:
JIM ACOSTA: Not just the sentence of an unconditional release, which means he’s not going to do any jail time. The fact that he is going to be going into the White House as a convicted felon, but

For more than eight years, the climate scientist Michael Mann harassed National Review through litigation over a blog post — until, eventually, the First Amendment brought an end to his attack. This week, a court in our nation’s capital ordered Mann to pay us $530,820.21 worth of attorney’s fees and costs, and to do so within 30 days. It is time for him to get out his checkbook, and sign on the dotted line.
This restitution is welcome, if incomplete. As was made clear during the discovery process, Mann’s explicitly stated intention was to use a “major lawsuit” as a vehicle with which to “ruin National Review.”

Honestly, with everything happening in the United States this fall, election-wise, and watching Keir Starmer stumble headlong into 'most rapidly despised Prime Minister in history' territory, I'd completely spaced this particular October sin of his.
And a most unwelcome, sprung-out-of-nowhere sin it was.
No Time Like the Present for the UK to Give Away *gulp* Diego Garcia
In this world, there have been "giveaways" - like Oprah with her cars for you and you and YOU!!
And then there have been "giveaways," or "givebacks' like, says, the Panama Canal.
Or Bagram.
