Liberals Cancel Subscriptions to TIME
Magazine After Donald Trump Named ‘Person
of the Year’

Was there anyone left? I thought all the black lesbians canceled after Caitlin Clark got Athlete of the Year.

Many companies/organizations/media outlets are talking about the need to "remake" their image to be more balanced and attractive to a wider swath of Americans. This REACTION is part of the problem they face; the Leftists they supported/encouraged turning on them as they feel "betrayed". Note that Leftists are are the ones that encourage their members to abandon family and friends that supported Republicans; a scorched earth policy. Further note that the extremis such Leftists are feeling has little grounding in fact. They hype themselves up by telling ghost stories around the campfire and then have trouble sleeping at night and are fearful 24/7. But for whatever the reason, the Left is all shook up and, since they feel that have no control over Trump or the government he plans to make, the only people they can attack are the "friends" around them that they feel have abandoned them. They shriek "I AM REALLY, REALLY UPSET!". Those of us on the the Conservative side recognize the signs of a tantrum and deal with it as such. But for those like TIME Magazine, experimentally trying to walk a tightrope between both sides, the Left's upset is a visceral thing and TIME's slightest effort to find balance is going to be met with HATE and rejection. The people trying to find a balance may find it impossible. And the Left may find that they have FEW supporters remaining because they demand slavish adherence to Leftist dogma and return unmitigated hate against those who refuse to comply (BTW, a typical requirement of the "revolution" because their dogma usually doesn't stand up to scrutiny). What rational person/group would want to be a part of that?

If you subscribe to TIME you are already somewhere between Saturn and Neptune. Flying off into the deep end isn’t that difficult.

If conservatives or Republicans canceled magazines or newspapers everytime they published something they disagreed with, there would be nothing left to subscribe to. The left just can't stand anything that differs from their narrow liberal world view.

TIME's ULTIMATE betrayal-- people are "unfriending" their subscriptions.... That will show them their displeasure!! Take that liberal rag!!

In 1976 Time ran a TV ad bragging that they had picked 'Jimmah' as Man of the Year. I had a friend who had a subscription. As soon as he saw the ad, he called Time and cancelled his subscription.

The last time I picked up a copy of Time Magazine (at a local car wash waiting for my car), I was shocked at how little it contained. It was nothing like the magazine I read cover to cover several decades ago. I'm sorry they cheesed off their leftist subscribers because I suspect that's all they had left.

I presume they did so while stopping their feet and covering their ears.

Good grief. Time has had a variety of people on the cover as Person of the Year...Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, Greta Thunberg, Caitlan Clark etc. Taylor Swift multiple times for some reason. I cancelled years ago but not because of who they put on the cover. The artcles did lean left but the magazine was just not that good anymore and the only time I picked one up was in a doctors office.

Who knew that anyone still subscribed to Time? I cancelled my subscription in the 1980s because they were so full of propaganda. But the leftists, apparently love the propaganda, and are allergic to the truth.

Same here, poster #19. I wouldn't read it if they paid me. On a lighter note, and infinitely more funny one, Time is receiving just recompense for all their lying over the last several decades. Gradually Conservatives cancelled their subscriptions over a period of time (nyuk, nyuk) and now Time Magazine's main supporters are cancelling their subscriptions because President Trump is on the cover. It is to laugh. Merry Christmas Time Magazine! Your stocking full of coal has arrived!
