Republican Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) is raising concerns that certain establishment GOP lawmakers may quietly undermine President-elect Donald Trump’s agenda despite publicly claiming to support it. As Trump gears up for another four years in the White House, Roy fears some of his colleagues, particularly those with strong ties to the D.C. establishment, will work behind the scenes to thwart his policies or derail his efforts. The Texas representative’s warnings reflect a broader anxiety within the GOP about the deepening divide between the incoming Trump Administration and those deep inside the swamp. In addition to Roy, others also fear these Republicans may prioritize their political futures.

The answer is as old as time! Envy and Fear. Envy of Trump. Fear he will always be better than they are. Toddlers, for the most part.

The Republicans have their own two-party system: the conservatives and the centrists, who fight against each other, while the opposition Dems unite and win irrespective of the election results. Until they unite, they are doomed to waste any electoral win.

If any of these Senators or Representatives get in the way of mass deportations, they, too, should be arrested for obstruction and aiding and abbeting! This mess has got to stop!!

John Cornyn must go. He’s dirty, but his main problem is he is actually a leftist. I know him. He’s an authoritarian leftist with a southern accent.
Many other squishes act as if people have compromat on them. Presumably Jodie fits in this category

Never underestimate the Republicans ability to screw Trump's massive mandate up! There are many in their ranks who need to go, for the sake of the country. MAGA

There was a reason Mitch withheld campaign funds from certain senate races.

Well, if they are doing this in deep red states, they are going against the will of the people they supposedly represent.

A uniparty swamp will always resist the drain.
Here in Louisiana we have someone stepping up to primary our rino, Bill Cassidy in 2026.
I hope other states to do the same.

Thet each have their hand in the Cookie Jar! The Sleazy Bastids, have been BOUGHT, they're wholly owned by the Defense Industrial Complex! Exactly Like Cheney and her Father...The more Americans that DIE in Battle the richer they become!
I'd really like to question the Senators who voted to put the Chi-Com, McConnell, on the defense committee

A small list of well-known RINOs will not deter Trump and the real American people who voted him in to do a tough job. The difference this time around is that he carries a much bigger stick and will not hesitate to use it. The dimwit congress-critters who oppose him will not have future careers if they get in his way. Collins is sickening and the people of Maine need to wake up and shovel that pile of bones out of there.

Can we find out how Senator Roy (and for that matter, other "R" senators who might be inclined to vote against President Trump's nominees) voted in 2021 for or against Biden's nominees--most of whom represented the characters in the bar scene of the movie Star wars. Why are our republican senators "good sports" who feel the need to approve the nominees of a democrat president, but insist that nominees from a president of their own party have to undergo extreme examination of their fitness for the position they seek?
That, my fellow L-dotters, is the reason that the Republican party carries the motto of "The Stupid Party".

When did Mr. Roy discover this fact.
RINO's have been around for years and they are just waiting to put the screws to Donald Trumps agenda.

I believe it. The deep state is not exclusively Democrats. Some Republicans are also card carrying members.

It's time these same states Primaried out those RINO's who are too eager to throw their loyalties to the Left. AKA Mitch McConnell et al. They have sunk into the swamp. There should be term limits for them also.

Why? Simple answer. Campaign funding.
You dance with (and for) the one what brung ya.
How naïve can voters be, to not understand that most legislators are iron-bound gripped by the survival instinct of doing what their bread butterers tell them to do - or else.
IF (God willing, when) more voters start pulling voting machine levers according to a modicum of "paying attention" compared to "name recognition" or "party"... we might see an improvement in quality versus labeling.

Truth be known.... even since Ronald Reagan left office the "Bushies" and other blue-blood country-clubbers who care about money more than sound policy have been working to undermine the Reagan revolution! The power of control of the money and policy entrusted to the RiNOs and the GOPe's has been disastrous EXCEPT for them undermining the great things that happened.
Even with President Trump in office for four years, it wasn't just the entrenched socialist Dem civil servants slow walking policy-- it was many so-called "republicans" feathering their own political power at the expense of the people's interests. They have not died out yet, and they manage to stay in office with large campaign war chests and primaries that almost always protect them from being removed from office when multiple primary challengers tear each other apart and cannot get the 50% of the vote plus ONE vote to remove the incumbent.
We, like Charlie Brown, keep thinking that maybe THIS TIME we will be able to kick that darn football only to have the RINO Lucys pull it away no matter what is promised, espeically by the Senate prima donnas like Benedict Turtle, Lindsay Gramesty, John Cornyn and his compadres..
Those types are like irritating gum on your shoe you can never get rid of who treat you like used Klennex after you vote for them. No more!

Just like the Mississippi Mafia that Trent Lot oversaw...he ran everything in the state and anyone that had a desire had to go through him. It was a lot like having a King, and NOTHING happens without the KING being involved, (and getting his taste (kickback) on all the action), Crooked or not! This behavior leads politicians to think they are KINGS and the result is arrogance on top of Criminal Activity.

My thinking is that there are actually Three groups within the Pubbies. The MAGA conservatives one the one hand, and the GOPe (GOP Establishment) which consists of two groups that often vote together, the 'Country Club' Bushie boy crowd, and corrupt Uniparty Swamp Rats.

The DC sewer dwelling Republi-Can'ts in Congress haven't accepted that their party is dead, and the MAGA Republican Party is the party of the future. But I'm guessing primary challenges and unemployment await them if they don't wake up and join the future!!!!!
