Farce of Daniel Penny trial shows again
that Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg needs to
go — now!

The top manslaughter charge against Daniel Penny was thrown out Friday, with the jury to return next week to debate a lesser alternative, negligent homicide. It’s an embarrassing defeat for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who never should have brought charges against former Marine Daniel Perry in the first place. But it’s not the first time Bragg has failed his office. Indeed, since Day 1, the district attorney has been a walking disaster for the city. He needs to go. Consider: Violent crime is up and continues to rise, and his “Day 1” promises to “make us safer” by reducing enforcement and punishment have backfired spectacularly.

This was a clever ploy on Bragg's part. The jury was deadlocked. By now withdrawing the primary charge and focusing on a lesser charge, he is hoping the dissenting jurors will give in so that he can get a conviction on at least something... anything.

A few years ago New Yorkers were outraged by the bystanders who listened to Kitty Genovese scream as she was raped then stabbed 13 times, taking 1/2 hour to quit screaming. None of them lifted a finger. Find Daniel Penny guilty and times the silent bystanders by thousands. No one is going to come to anyone's aid in NYC ever again.

#5, #6, I remember the Kitty story, from when I was a little guy! We are in the throes of a new Jim Crow era. This time the victims are white people instead of black, and the location is Noo Yawk City, DeeCee, or pretty much any big city instead of the Deep South. Crooked DA's abusing the law to file charges in ways, and for supposed violations, that were unintended -indeed, unimaginable- by the people who wrote the laws. Crooked judges making crooked rulings so that the defendants- the victims- have no rights, and no legal defense, a jury of ignorant, biased people who will 'convict a ham sandwich', and a Crooked Media egging them on, all the way. The thing that has NOT changed is that it is Democ'RATS running the governments involved.

If nothing else, the defense has a very solid path to an appeal to get all the charges thrown out. This judge did himself no favors. I pray that the juror(s) who voted NG on the manslaughter charge hold the line and get a mistrial declared.

This is all about race and Bragg is nothing more than a race hustler like Al Sharpton. With all of the hate crimes committed in NYC, has anyone been to trial lately. If this poor guy Penny was black, this trial never happens. If Trump were black there would have been no trial. That is how sick Bragg is.

Sen. John Fetterman stunned The View co-host when he claimed that Donald Trump's New York City trial should also be pardoned. The Pennsylvania Democrat admitted that the case against Trump was politically motivated as he compared it to the same sort of weaponization of the Justice system against President Joe Biden's son Hunter. The parallel left liberal television personality Joy Behar barely able to speak. 'I think it's undeniable that the case against Hunter Biden was really politically motivated, but I also think it's true that the trial in New York for Trump, that was political as well,

President Joe Biden delivered a short address from the White House on Sunday, claiming credit for the toppling of the regime of Syrian dictator Bashar Assad, who was ousted by rebels after a long and brutal reign lasting decades. Biden claimed that a combination of U.S. policies — isolating Assad; tying Russia down in Ukraine; and allowing Israel freedom of action against Iran and its Hezbollah proxy — weakened the regime and left it without defenders. Biden said: Over the past four years, my administration pursued a clear, principled policy towards Syria. First, we made clear from the start that sanctions on Assad would remain in place unless

A noticeable addition this year saw the seminal scene's baby Jesus draped in a keffiyeh - a traditional scarf used by Palestinians as a national symbol. Jesus was born into a Jewish family in Bethlehem some 2,000 years ago - and his death triggered the birth of Christianity. A statement from the wheelchair-bound pontiff, moreover, saw him humbly ask onlookers for peace in the Middle East, weeks after he called for an investigation into what he said may be a 'genocide' occurring in the Gaza Strip.

There was one notable absence, though. President Joe Biden was nowhere to be found. Instead, Jill Biden showed up with her daughter. That alone spurred questions given the president has long claimed to be a "devout Catholic." Yet, he couldn't be bothered to show up for a once-in-a-lifetime event that other world leaders flocked to? Of course, while the White House will likely claim a scheduling conflict (there was nothing on the president's schedule for Saturday),

This is too funny. For President Trump at Notre Dame, it’s an ordinary walk to his seat, except something happened. It starts out with Poland’s President Andrzej Duda standing up to greet President Donald Trump. They are friends, and Duda is one of the EU heads of state that is seriously thrilled to see President Trump return (Hungary’s Orban is another). However, after Duda stands things get funny because all the other dignitaries then feel obligated to stand and greet President Trump. President Trump ended up turning his simple walk to his seat, into a reception line of foreign dignitaries who stood at attention to greet him.

Thomas McLellan, deputy “drug czar” in the Obama Administration, notes that “the great majority of the cannabis related problems affect those 12-25, which means the problems will have longer duration.”
