Americans are increasingly being pulled to the southern United States, with five states in particular attracting the most transplants. Florida and Texas had the most people move within their borders in 2023, according to a new migration survey from the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Florida saw a net inflow of 372,870 people last year, while 315,301 went to Texas, according to the report, which analyzed US Census data. North Carolina welcomed 126,712 new residents in 2023, and has been established previously as another fast-growing state. Home to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina gained 91,853 more people last year.

Met two fellows from NJ who moved their families down to Florida this past year. Both left Jersey because of outrageous taxes and regulations. Both were democrat voters and both stated that their Political stances were anti-Trump. You cannot change their stripes ………. These people are the lemmings that will never accept reality and are disturbingly argumentative.

Stay away from WV. There are no jobs. Our roads are bad, our schools are retarded, we marry our cousins and our culture does not welcome minorities. The last thing we need or want is a bunch of high falootin city slickers bringing their "civilization" to us.

I agree that the Dakotas are too cold during the winter, and they are too hot during the summer. Temperate areas along the coast are too liberal. In retirement, I will need to be some kind of snowbird, just not too deep into the South where it's too hot and humid even during the winter! Suggestions?

Sounds like a bunch of voter registrations that need to be removed from places like California and New York, in particular since they are the two states were most have left according to the article. Another reason why voter integrity issue needs to be continually monitored. It also means both NY and CA will be losing Congressional seats in the 2030 census and another reason the GOP needs to be focused on the next 10 years not simply the next 2.

President Joe Biden, when he pardoned his son, conceded his own Department of Justice (DOJ) is politically motivated, attorneys for President-elect Donald Trump wrote in a Monday filing. In their latest motion to dismiss Trump’s New York case, defense attorneys pointed to Biden’s claim that his son was “selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted” with political motives that lead to a “miscarriage of justice” as further justification for ending proceedings. “These comments amounted to an extraordinary condemnation of President Biden’s own DOJ,” Trump’s attorneys wrote. “This is the same DOJ that coordinated and oversaw the politically-motivated, election-interference witch hunts targeting President Trump by disgraced Special Counsel Jack Smith,

The Allbritton Journalism Insitute (NOTUS) reported Monday night that all GOP Senators appear to be headed into Patel’s confirmation process with an open mind at a minimum.Establishment centrist Republican Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) indicated on Monday that they would head into hearings impartially, which is a contrast to their public opposition to former Rep. President Biden should pardon President-elect Donald Trump of “all charges,” outgoing Sen. Joe Manchin (I-WV) told CNN Tuesday. Manchin, who occasionally blocked Biden’s agenda over the last four years, is among a growing faction who hope Biden will bring down the political temperature in the final days of his presidency.“What I would have done differently, and my recommendations and counsel would have been, why don’t you go ahead and pardon Donald Trump for all his charges?” Manchin said. “He would have gone down as a lot more balanced, if you will.”

CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins called President Joe Biden’s pardon of his son Hunter Biden a “political timebomb” that left Dems in “the blast radius” — and pointed out his hypocrisy after years of claiming he would respect the Justice Department’s rulings. The Democratic president late Sunday pardoned Hunter, who was convicted of federal gun and tax evasion charges earlier this year, after repeatedly denying he would use his pardoning powers for his 54-year-old son. “With 50 days left in his presidency, Joe Biden just set off a political timebomb before leaving for Africa today, and leaving his party behind to deal with the blast radius,” Collins said Monday night

You don’t have to clap for that. You can if you want,” Biden, 82, said while speaking behind a glass barrier streaked by rain. The lame duck began his highly anticipated speech on an awkward note when he hailed “Angola, a vibrant city” before attempting to mop up the gaffe. “Look, not the city,” he added. “The city, I know, is not Angola.

As Breitbart News noted after the election in November, Newsom announced the special session — not to deal with pressing problems facing the state, but rather for the political purpose of leading the so-called “resistance” (i.e. opposition) to President-elect Donald Trump. Trump responded on Truth Social, saying Newsom was “using the term ‘Trump-Proof’ as a way of stopping all of the GREAT things that can be done to ‘Make California Great Again’.”
