One of the lessons learned in the first Trump administration is that you can't put a regular swamp creature into a position of power and expect him or her to go up against the entrenched machine to the degree necessary. But she claimed authority to say that since she "leads" a military personnel panel in the Senate and her brothers served. So you know the Democrats are going to try to fight Hegseth's approval. But Warren got buried by people in response on X.

The naming of Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense has so far caused the most liberal tears, but the announcement that Trump is choosing Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz as his attorney general is sure to cause many leftist heads to explode.

In an interview on Tuesday, former Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos responded to President-elect Donald Trump's plan to eliminate the Department of Education.
DeVos made the remarks in an interview with Fox News.
"President Trump will need to partner with Congress to actually get that done, but there are many steps that can be taken to re-empower states and local communities and importantly, families," DeVos said in the interview about for former president's plan and give power back to the states.
