Lisa slides a Hellcat pistol into her backpack, slinging it over her shoulder. She jumps out of the driver’s seat of her massive Ford F-250 as we head into a barbecue joint for lunch. Steel brass knuckles glint in the console beside a pencil-shaped, pronged object. She sees me looking at it. “That’s my stabby-stick,” Lisa says before I even ask. “In case I can’t bring my gun somewhere. These guys are dangerous.” “These guys” are sex traffickers, and dangerous doesn’t begin to describe them. Many traffickers are members of Mexican or Salvadorian gangs, part of Cuban rings or the vicious Venezuelan group Tren de Aragua.

Which goes hand in hand with human trafficking which has been going on at our southern border with the full support of the federal government thanks to its migration policies.

I find it difficult to extend the protections of US law to such. Nor do I think our tax dollars are aptly spent extending legal protections to them. Millstones may be in short supply and admittedly out of vogue but rope is cheap and there are plenty of lampposts. But other quick solutions are acceptable as well.

We were warned about this in the military 25 years ago or more; that any professionals we might hire are likely slaves. If it has been common knowledge for at least that long, why are girls still falling for the scams? Do they have no internal alarms? No intuition? Or are they willing participants?

I'm always shocked by these stories. I had no idea about sex trafficking much less child sex stuff. I recently saw where over 300,000 children in this country are missing. I've lived too long. I never wanted to know this stuff. But I can assure everyone women who are being trafficked are not doing so willingly. I don't blame them, I blame the trafficker,.

That Fox News Interview May Have Done
To Kamala What The Debate Did To Biden

What happened Wednesday night to Kamala Harris on Fox News may have been the equivalent to what happened to President Joe Biden at that infamous debate in June — irreparably exposed her as unacceptable to voters. In what was widely seen as a Hail Mary move by Kamala’s campaign, the vice president agreed to an extended interview on Fox News, one of the exceedingly few national TV interviews she’s done since she was anointed the Democrat Party’s post-Biden nominee. Remarkably, she offered nothing new in terms of her weak, often confusing answers to obvious questions, but she did finally face probing lines of inquiry and necessary follow-up
Pennsylvania’s Latino Belt 0 replies

The Hispanic population is skyrocketing across the country, and Pennsylvania is no exception. With over 600,000 eligible Latino voters in the pivotal Keystone State, an emerging “Latino Belt” is reshaping politics and is likely to make a difference in a presidential contest that was won in Pennsylvania by just 82,000 votes in 2020. Donald Trump leads Kamala Harris by 0.3 points in Pennsylvania, according to the RCP Average. It's easy to think of Pennsylvania as, in the words of political strategist James Carville, two large cities with Alabama in the middle. Pittsburgh and Philadelphia sandwich rural Pennsylvania, which is in many areas culturally akin to Appalachia or the Deep South.

New York Times’ plagiarism consultant Jonathan Bailey released his "full analysis" of the allegations against Vice President Kamala Harris and found them "more serious" than he initially believed. "At the time, I was unaware of a full dossier with additional allegations, which led some to accuse the New York Times of withholding that information from me. However, the article clearly stated that it was my ‘initial reaction’ to those allegations, not a complete analysis," Bailey wrote on Plagiarism Today Wednesday. "Today, I reviewed the complete dossier prepared by Dr. Stefan Weber, whom I have covered before. I also performed a peer review of one of his papers in 2018."

Vice President Kamala Harris sure lies a lot. I’m not just talking about pretending she hasn’t been the co-pilot of the Biden administration’s inflation and the border invasion, but about everything. She’s got a plan to fix all the problems she helped cause — but she won’t implement them unless she wins in November. There is hardly an issue where she hasn’t insincerely changed her position to get ahead, just as there is hardly a biographical detail about her running-mate that hasn’t been embellished or fabricated. But Harris’s lies about Donald Trump are the worst of all.

With polls suggesting her campaign has stalled, Vice President Kamala Harris has been dispatching the Democratic Party’s biggest names across the country in an effort to build support in the last three weeks of the election. In one high-profile case, the strategy backfired, big time. On Sunday, former President Bill Clinton attended the Fort Valley GOTV Community Fish Fry in Fort Valley, Georgia. It was the kind of small-scale, face-to-face politicking that was the former president’s specialty. Today, at 78, he’s still good at it. But Clinton, who won the presidency in 1992 as a centrist New Democrat — his campaign was based on his understanding

The rankings are in for which U.S. governors have the best – and worst – records when it comes to fiscal responsibility. The Cato Institute released its biennial Fiscal Policy Report Card on America's Governors for 2024 this week, scoring each state leader according to how much they raised or lowered taxes, and whether they slashed spending or ramped it up. Here are the most fiscally responsible governors in the nation, according to the libertarian-leaning think tank:

Kamala Harris’ greatest enemy is herself, and her most notable weakness is her inability to convey sincerity in her messaging to the public. Her authenticity handicap has recently been reflected in her dwindling polling data with black Americans, a historically reliable Democratic voter bloc. Charlamagne Tha God of “The Breakfast Club” invited Vice President Harris for an audio-only town hall in Detroit featuring prerecorded questions from the audience. From the very first question, her believability came under scrutiny by Charlamagne. “Folks say you come off as very scripted and like to stick to your talking points,” he said — and she promptly interrupted him by saying,

How refreshing it is to see the Democratic Party in full panic mode. Nothing is working and as a result, the entire and profoundly unsuccessful Obama-Biden interlude is stricken and faltering. In fairness to the voters, the country could not have voted Republican in 2008 after the disaster of President George W. Bush — the Iraqi war topped out by the financial collapse and panic traceable to President Clinton’s requirement that the financial markets be flooded with commercially unsustainable mortgages. There had to be a change, as there usually is after two terms of the same party, and Senator McCain was not a skilled national campaigner.

Kudos to GOP veep nominee JD Vance for his recent of schooling arrogant Dem-lapdog journalists on the realities of the Harris-Biden border disaster. First up? His sitdown with the New York Times’ Lulu Garcia-Navarro, the Lebron James of lib smugness. Garcia-Navarro smirked and smarmed her way through the convo until she tried to spring a gotcha on Vance. The would-be veep has correctly cited a US housing shortage as a driver of home prices; Garcia-Navarro simpered that cracking down on illegal immigration would cripple the construction industry and prevent that shortage from being addressed. Vice President Kamala Harris is adding to her recent “media blitz” that until now has included stops at mostly friendly news outlets, talk shows and podcasts (which the Democratic presidential nominee has still inexplicably managed to bomb). Yet, this week, she’s shaking things up and doing her first ever sit-down interview with Fox News. The interview will take place Wednesday with Fox News anchor Bret Baier. Baier has said that he won't treat Harris with kid gloves during their conversation, and that any editing of the interview will only be for “timing” and that “no topic is off the table.” Sounds promising.

Former President Bill Clinton had a bizarre moment while eulogizing the late Ethel Kennedy before a crowd of influential politicians and Kennedy family members. During his remarks at the Kennedy matriarch's funeral Wednesday afternoon in Washington, D.C., Clinton revealed to the crowd what he really thought of Robert Kennedy's widow. 'I thought your mother was the cat’s meow,' Bill said about the late 96-year-old. 'She would flirt with me in the most innocent ways,' he continued to cautious laughs from the audience. It was another rough day for the Democrat thought leader Kamala Harris. Kamala’s handlers thought it would be a good idea to go on FOX News for a rare mainstream media interview. They even arranged to have Trump-basher Bret Baier to ask the questions. But it didn’t turn out as planned. There was no amount of prepping that could save Kamala from what was coming. Kamala finally had to defend her failed policies, from open borders, to lying about Joe Biden’s dementia, to funding the Iranian terrorist regime. There was no escape. And Bret Baier actually came prepared and did not give Kamala a pass.
