The “As I Was Saying” President

Presidential campaigns are as much about policy as they are about marketing. What a candidate says and how they say it—especially when understood in context—can define their personality. On Saturday, President Trump's team put on a master class in presidential campaigning by combining his raw talent for holding rallies with explosive confidence and an injection of creative genius in choreography. Trump was in Butler, PA, a small, sleepy town that is now recognizable around the world and will make an appearance in history textbooks for being the place where a gunman attempted to assassinate the 45th president in July. The Trump campaign was taking on

No wonder the socialist media spend so much time portraying President Trump’s powerful self assurance and magnetic strength of leadership abilities as evil and harmful to the people! The combined patriotism and strength in PDJT and J.D. Vance is an undeniable force that inspires confidence in their ability, and belief in their promises to do exactly as they promise to do. They surround themselves with people of real strength and genuine accomplishment like themselves. Their pretentious, media celebrated opponents surround themselves with other pretenders like themselves - actors who must memorize scripts and pretend to be real heroes and heroines on movie screens. They then hold huge extravaganzas praising and awarding themselves with trophies for their talents at pretending. America needs REAL leaders devoted to our Constitutional Rule of Law. Continued prayers for the safety and success of PDJT and JDV in leading US to Make America Great Again. But, as strong and accomplished as they are, WE cannot succeed alone. To God be the glory!

This is totally tangential but... I took a semester in German recently and found out that, while ich bin ein Berliner sounds great and we all know what it was supposed to mean... the 'Berliner' is a well known jelly donut. The professor of German thought that George W had said that and that the quote was (unintentionally) very funny.

Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley sent letters to U.S. Secret Service (USSS) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) leaders on Wednesday detailing a new whistleblower claim that Secret Service leadership is trying to hide the level of protection given to former President Donald Trump. The letter to USSS Director Ronald Rowe and DHS Inspector General Joseph Cuffari alleges a whistleblower’s claims that government auditors are being denied access to certain Trump campaign events in an effort to hide these apparent protection shortfalls for the former president.

Political analyst Mark Halperin said this week that both Democrats and Republicans believe former President Trump’s chances of winning the election are looking strong after seeing recent private polling data. Appearing on a livestream on his media platform 2WAY, Halperin said people on both sides of the political aisle familiar with the polls have told him they’ve seen Vice President Harris’ electoral prospects slip, and that they’re leaning towards a Trump victory being in the cards. "In the conversations I'm having with Trump people and Democrats with data, they are extremely bullish on Trump's chances in the last 48 hours. Extremely bullish," Halperin said.

In a perfect storm of Democratic nonsense, White House chief flack Karine Jean-Pierre blew off factual info around Federal Emergency Management Agency spending and foreign aid that her own employers released as “misinformation” before stomping off in a huff. What more proof does America need that labels of mis- and disinformation have nothing to do with whether any statement is true or false, but only whether it’s helpful or harmful to the political project of the left? Fox News’ Peter Doocy posed Jean-Pierre (Joe Biden’s newest “senior adviser”) a simple question: Why does the Biden administration have close to $157 million ready to go for Lebanon aid but has to go

Vice President Kamala Harris refrained from saying what "major changes" her administration would bring versus the Biden administration she is currently serving during an interview Tuesday night. Harris sat down for a friendly interview with "Late Show" host Stephen Colbert, who pointed to polls showing voters want the 2024 election to be about change. "You are a member of the present administration, but under a Harris administration, what would the major changes be, and what would stay the same?" Colbert asked.

Vice President Kamala Harris told “60 Minutes” Monday that she owns a Glock handgun — triggering allegations of hypocrisy due to her own past support for firearm bans and questions about whether she’s complying with existing gun-control laws. “I have a Glock and I’ve had it for quite some time,” the 59-year-old Harris told CBS News correspondent Bill Whitaker. “My background is in law enforcement, so there you go.” Asked if she had ever fired the gun, Harris laughingly replied, “Yes, of course I have, at a shooting range— yes, of course, I have.” Harris previously supported handgun bans in both San Francisco, where she

CBS News appears to have edited the 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris to show the Democratic 2024 hopeful in a more positive light. Social media erupted in criticism of the vice president's 'word salad' response to a question about the Israeli-Hamas war. But after the episode aired on 60 Minutes on Monday night, the version that was put onto the show's official YouTube page did not include Harris' nonsensical answer and instead included a truncated and more straight-forward response. And pro-MAGA accounts and conservative people on X were quick to point out the change.

"She has no role in this, in fact, she's been vice president for three and a half years, I've dealt with a number of storms under this administration, she's never contributed anything to any of these efforts."

One year ago, I woke up to multiple text messages telling me there was an attack in Israel. I checked the news and like most people could not believe what I was seeing, texting a friend saying, “They even overran an army base.” Little did I know this was just scratching the surface of the devastation, murder, and evil unleashed that day. Although it shocked me and the rest of the world, it really shouldn’t have. The population of Gaza is raised from childhood to hate Israel, and all Hamas had to do was amass an irregular militia made up of fewer than 1% of Gaza’s military aged males to launch

The fundamental problem with Kamala Harris’s campaign promises is that she has served as vice president of the United States for nearly four years. All those things she is out on the campaign trail pledging to do — well, what has she been doing since Jan. 20, 2021? “She just started by saying she’s going to do this, she’s going to do that, she’s going to do all these wonderful things,” former President Donald Trump said at the debate with Harris last month. “Why hasn’t she done it? She’s been there for 3 1/2 years.” That’s one part of the Harris problem: She’s trying to run as a newcomer when,

Minnesota governor Tim Walz on Tuesday reiterated his support for abolishing the Electoral College and switching to a national popular vote as the sole means of electing presidents and their running mates. While campaigning for Vice President Kamala Harris on the West Coast, Walz suggested at two different fundraisers that he would prefer to focus on winning votes across the country rather than concentrate on key battleground states that could sway the upcoming presidential election as they have done in the past. “I think all of us know the Electoral College needs to go. New Zealand’s navy has suffered its first peacetime ship loss since World War II when the $100 million multi-role support vessel HMNZS Manawanui ran aground off the southern coast of Upolu Island, Samoa, caught fire and eventually sank—triggering an environmental disaster in the process. With all 75 passengers and crew evacuated, the vessel’s loss brings fresh scrutiny to the leadership under its openly lesbian commanding officer, Commander Yvonne Gray. The Manawanui, originally built in Norway and repurposed for New Zealand’s Royal Navy with a substantial $103 million investment, was conducting a seabed survey mission when it hit a reef, according to maritime news outlet gCaptain.

In public, Biden usually refers to Trump in roundabout ways, such as “my predecessor” or “the former guy” — when the incumbent deigns to mention the 45th president at all. The president’s hot temper and penchant for profanity has been reported before, with Politico revealing in October 2021 that Biden regularly f-bombed West Wing aides in meetings,
