This is a little bit unusual, and I don’t generally recommend going to a bizarro leftist narrative article for full review; however, in this case it is worth it. Politico has written an article about FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell, saying disinformation about the federal government response to Hurricane Helene, “is absolutely the worst I have ever seen,” Criswell told reporters on a Tuesday morning call. “It’s creating distrust in the federal government, but also the state government, and we have so many first responders that have been working to go out and help these communities,” she added. {link}

Deanne Criswell is implementing Do Expect Incompetence within FEMA. People on the ground have verified that FEMA is stealing donations, scaring away donors, and living high on the hog in hotels. Working 9-5 M-F no overtime. DEI is alive and well within FEMA.

According to the residents of North Carolina who have spoken to the few FEMA members who came to the disaster zone, they were told that most FEMA employees are currently stationed along our southern border. FEMA has its priorities and helping Americans isn't one of them.

Any information put out by the government is untruth. Its their first response to everything, and their hill to die on when they get backed into a corner. Anything different than what the government says stands a much better chance of being right.

Don't worry, most of us didn't trust you before the hurricane. Running FEMA in the middle of a crisis situation is a near impossible job. It take a strong, smart leader who can anticipates problems. Unfortunately, government agencies are usually given to political appointees as a reward for election support, and most of them are in over their head. Mayor Pete and Kimberly Cheatle are prime examples.

Don’t threaten us with cutting off your aid. It will not work. I am not a Jew with trembling knees. I am a proud Jew with 3,700 years of civilized history. Nobody came to our aid when we were dying in the gas chambers and ovens. Nobody came to our aid when we were striving to create our country. We paid for it. We fought for it. We died for it. We will stand by our principles. We will defend them. And, when necessary, we will die for them again, with or without your aid.

Trump’s memorable rally on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he survived an assassination attempt in July, cemented his full support by Elon Musk who has 200 million followers on his social platform X. Additional joint appearances are planned. Musk was the only speaker introduced by Trump Saturday night, and Elon focused on voter registration. Musk likes to win as Trump does, and this election will be won or lost on the ground game. Trump will appoint Musk to lead a new government efficiency commission, and both are not afraid to fire many workers to improve productivity.

A major campaign rally at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden (MSG) has been booked by former President Donald Trump later this month as he enters the final stretch of the 2024 race for the White House. News of the mass rally confirms hints Trump gave Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alexander Marlow and Washington Political Editor Matthew Boyle last December when he flagged the move. As Breitbart News subsequently reported he said:

The reports are full of drama, with tales of resignations, indictments and chatter about the next head to roll. Or as New Yorkers say, it’s another day in the tenure of Mayor Adams. Gothamites attuned to the messy history of local government realize we are living in a unique moment, the legendary crooks of Tammany Hall not withstanding. Although a long line of Tammany bosses set the standard for carrying out graft on an industrial scale over decades, the federal charges against Adams and the ongoing probes into top players in his administration appear to be relatively modest by comparison. Despite headline-grabbing words like wire fraud and bribery,

Happy Tuesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. Rolkyne just knew that his all-clavichord Captain and Tennille retrospective was going to be the talk of the Tri-County Fair. We have spent a lot of time over the years discussing the never ending awfulness of the people in the mainstream media who call themselves journalists. Bias for the Democrats has been a problem since I have been politically aware, which has been quite some time. Of course, they've all gotten worse since Donald Trump rose to power in the Republican Party.

When former President Barack Obama comes to Pittsburgh on Thursday to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris in the home stretch for next month's election, he will be returning to a very different western Pennsylvania from the one he won robustly in 2008 and less so in 2012. In 2008, Obama ran on a message of aspiration, using a slogan of hope and change to create a coalition of working-class white people long part of the New Deal Democrats, minorities, young people and educated professionals. In that race against Republican John McCain, he won 18 of Pennsylvania's 67 counties.

A New Jersey high school banned yellow ribbons meant to symbolize support for the Israeli hostages during a club fair — a “blatant’’ display of antisemitism, furious critics say. Some Fair Lawn High School parents and the group StopAntisemitism also complained that the presence of Israel’s flag during the event, which was partly promoting a trip to Israel, was not allowed because the administration deemed it too “political” — while members of the Muslim Student Association were allowed to display a keffiyeh. “What happened at Fair Lawn High School is an alarming case of hypocrisy and blatant antisemitism,” said Liora Rez, founder of StopAntisemitism.

One of the things that Elon Musk just warned about at former President Donald Trump's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, was the danger that the Democrats posed to free speech and how important it was to vote for Trump to preserve our Constitutional rights. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton let the cat out of the bag during an interview with CNN on Saturday, where she spoke about the need to control social media. She said it should be "at the top" of every legislative agenda: "We lose total control." That's the real problem to them right there, that's why Democrats are so upset. October 7, 2023, was many things. It was the single worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. It was the beginning of a war between Israel and Iran (through its proxies, and now with the Islamic Republic itself) that shows no signs of abating. Since the day of the Hamas massacre, we have worked relentlessly to bring you news of the war, and its implications for the Middle East and the free world.

New Zealand’s navy has suffered its first peacetime ship loss since World War II when the $100 million multi-role support vessel HMNZS Manawanui ran aground off the southern coast of Upolu Island, Samoa, caught fire and eventually sank—triggering an environmental disaster in the process. With all 75 passengers and crew evacuated, the vessel’s loss brings fresh scrutiny to the leadership under its openly lesbian commanding officer, Commander Yvonne Gray. The Manawanui, originally built in Norway and repurposed for New Zealand’s Royal Navy with a substantial $103 million investment, was conducting a seabed survey mission when it hit a reef, according to maritime news outlet gCaptain.

In public, Biden usually refers to Trump in roundabout ways, such as “my predecessor” or “the former guy” — when the incumbent deigns to mention the 45th president at all. The president’s hot temper and penchant for profanity has been reported before, with Politico revealing in October 2021 that Biden regularly f-bombed West Wing aides in meetings,
