Former President Barack Obama is coming to the aid of Vice President Kamala Harris in battleground states during the final stretch of the 2024 campaign.
A senior Harris campaign official told POLITICO on Friday that beginning next week, Obama will start a swing-state “blitz,” speaking at rallies in support of the Democratic nominee. Obama’s first appearance on the battleground state trail will be in the Pittsburgh area on Thursday, POLITICO reported. The former president is then expected to hit multiple Rust Belt and Sun Belt states.
Pennsylvania is considered one of the most important states for Harris and former President Donald Trump to win,

I doubt he'll pull in many new votes. More likely to turn off undecided voters. Although, if you are an undecided voter at this point.........you're not too bright.

What this says to me is that Kamala doesn't have the Black vote tied up yet and must employ Obama. They are also putting out a huge ad buy targeted at Blacks.

Their internals show her getting crushed. Obama wants a fourth term so has to get out there. But has endorsements ever changed a single voter's mind or brought in more votes? I've never seen a study on this but I suspect that sort of thing rarely helps much.

I don’t know if that’s help or hurt. The panache is gone from the obamas except for one group, liberal white women, and they’re never gonna vote for Trump anyway.
Look at stephen curry who was ridiculed for endorsing kamala. Swift supposedly lost 2 million followers on Spotify.
There’s too many whose eyes have been opened. And Trump is cool now. Combine all this with the literal star power of JD Vance and I’m still optimistic.

#11, exactly right.
Also worth noting - Obama, like Oprah, still thinks he's a big deal. And he is in little Dem echo-chamber circles, but in general, most people are long over him.

Call me crazy but I think America has had quite enough of Obama running the Biden-Harris administration. I doubt he has the cache he and the Leftist media think he has. In short, the thrill is long gone.

Let's all hope he extends his record this time around.
