The Cheneys' Endorsement of Harris Should
Be a Wake-Up Call to Vote for Trump

Original Article

On Thursday October 3rd, Vice President Kamala Harris held a campaign event with former Congresswoman Liz Cheney. Liz Cheney officially endorsed Harris in the beginning of September, and soon after her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney followed suit. Harris said she was honored to have their endorsements, and many fellow liberals are celebrating the Cheney endorsements. When asked about the former congresswoman’s campaign event with Harris, President Joe Biden said that Liz Cheney and her father “have character.” MSNBC contributor Tim Miller notably said Dick Cheney’s endorsement should be a wake-up call to everybody, his implication being that Trump is so bad even “conservative” Dick Cheney is backing Harris.

All I've seen from Dick Cheney is a written statement of support for Harris. Do we even know whether or not he is any more in his right mind than Biden? Maybe others have actually seen him in person. I certainly won't take his daughter's word on anything.

The Cheneys have made themselves the go-to hate objects for conservatives, digging their political hole ever deeper. I do wonder if Beltway Liz--- who has lost her mind to Trump Derangement Syndrome--- has dragged her father into this when he is unable to speak for himself.

Hurricane Milton is set to make landfall in Florida as a Category 5 hurricane on Wednesday morning - and it's expected to be even worse than Helene. Six million residents are under hurricane watch warnings and many have been ordered to evacuate as 'life-threatening' fifteen-foot-high storm surges and winds of up to 175mph barrel in. The National Weather Service in Tampa Bay has said that 'if the storm stays on the current track, it will be the worst storm to impact the Tampa area in over 100 years.' Mayor Jane Castor has warned the city's nearly 400,000 residents that if they don't evacuate, 'you are going to die.'

SWANNANOA, North Carolina — Hundreds of special operations personnel in North Carolina have formed their own homegrown rescue and supply operation in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene after they grew tired of waiting for the federal government to get its act together. The Post found an all-volunteer operation being run out of a Harley-Davidson dealership with ruthless efficiency and military precision. “Who’s FEMA?” ex-Green Beret Adam Smith derisively responded when asked about the agency’s presence on the ground since the deadly storm ravaged the rural western part of the state.(Photo) “This disaster has definitively proven without a shadow of a doubt FEMA’s incompetence and incapability,” he said, noting that the agency

Citing his growing concerns about the Biden administration’s foreign policy failures, Deutsch emphasized that global security is his top priority in the upcoming election. During a call organized by Trump’s campaign, Deutsch pointed to Biden and Harris’s handling of world conflicts, particularly their approach to the Hamas-Israel war and Iran, as reasons for his endorsement.

As RedState reported earlier, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis held a press briefing on Monday to discuss the state's preparations for Hurricane Milton, which is projected to hit the Sunshine State Wednesday night as a devastating Category 3 storm.Understandably, DeSantis wanted to provide assurances to residents that the state was doing everything it could ahead of the storm. Unfortunately, one of the so-called reporters decided to play politics during the briefing by pressing DeSantis over an anonymously sourced NBC News story that alleged he refused to take a call from Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris after Hurricane Helene hit.

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) is refusing to take calls from Vice President Kamala Harris regarding storm recovery efforts, more than a week after Hurricane Helene ravaged parts of the state. And he has a very good reason for doing so. According to a source close to the situation, DeSantis has been avoiding the Democratic presidential nominee’s outreach because her calls “seemed political,” and the governor is focused on recovery, not campaigning. “Kamala was trying to reach out, and we didn’t answer,” a DeSantis aide told NBC News, emphasizing that DeSantis is committed to keeping the focus on helping Floridians, not engaging in political posturing. Instead, he's been communicating directly

In 2005, in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina wrecking Louisiana and neighboring states, Democrats (and media allies) pounced on George W. Bush for his failures (real and fabricated) in Katrina’s aftermath. Hurricane Helene witnessed a predictable pattern. Biden stayed at the beach; Kamala pretended to be on the phone; and Trump characteristically flew in with supplies, organized a charity drive, and convinced Elon Musk to rush in 500 Starlink internet terminals, followed by FEMA blocking Musk’s and everyone else’s efforts. Blocking Starlink is essential to concealing FEMA’s perfidy. Success will be measured by how many Republicans can be kept from voting.

Harris has not sat for many local interviews in battleground states, and she has mostly avoided the national press and conducted zero press conferences.

The art of the traditional signature is becoming a thing of the past thanks to the rise of online contracts, e-signatures and PIN numbers. Surveys show that just a fifth of young adults aged 18 to 24 now have a personal signature, and a similar share of adults use their signature so infrequently, they can't produce the same one consistently. And that matches what teachers are seeing. Dr Lori Koerner, the assistant superintendent for the Riverhead Central School District in New York, told DailyMail.com: 'I have encountered too many secondary students and employment candidates who cannot sign documents relative to their onboarding process.'

Some of the audience tries to guess what this statement means while Harris’ supporters do not care and will vote for her regardless of what she says. Those who care to understand must speculate for an explanation. To whom will “billionaires” pay this undefined “fair share?” We can guess that she is talking about paying taxes.
