WASHINGTON — Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas set off outrage Wednesday when he told reporters that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) “does not have the funds” to see Americans through the rest of this Atlantic hurricane season — after draining his department’s emergency kitty this year to address the migrant crisis. “We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have,” Mayorkas said during a press gaggle on Air Force One en route to tour damage from Hurricane Helene in South and North Carolina. “We are expecting another hurricane hitting,” he added. “We do not have the funds. As President Trump so brilliantly points out, “…and no one get fired…”. However, beside being a “firing” offense, this should be a criminal, if not, a case of treason. Mayorkis should be first in the gallows, or before the firing squad.

$640,000,000 allocated to ILLEGALS and don't forget the $2.4 BILLION that Biden just gave to Ukraine last week. That's on top of the around $60 BILLION that the Ukraine have already gotten. And let's not get started on the money given to other countries with governments that hate us like Afghanistan and other Islamic terrorist paradises. THere are also lots of others spread around the world on our gravy train. But our own citizens need help due to a natural disaster..... Nope, sorry..... we're out of money!

Why did Congress authorize any money to FEMA for ANYTHING to deal with illegal alien migrants??? It's bad enough we give billions to these NGOs like Catholic Charities (screw the Al Smith dinner in NYC) and Global Refuge formerly known as Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS)). And I blame Republicans just as much as Democrats because we all know the Rs are too afraid of being called cold-hearted if they don't fund these programs that do nothing for US citizens.

Sounds similar to Domestic Abuse in a family, only on a national scale. Abusers do not prioritize their own family. Are secretive about where they spend money, take money earned by others in the household as their own. Embellish their own history. Gaslight family members, insist everything is fine, family is just too sensitive. Gamble away family resources, but manage to "find" help for those who keep them puffed up and feeling important. No money left for the family, but abusers don't care. Frequently scold family members, calling them vile names when they dare object to misplaced priorities. Punish family by denying them things they need, even when items are available. Listens in on phone calls. Tell family whatever they're doing (or not doing) is "for their own good." Abusers enjoy playing favorites. At every turn, the problem is always family members who fail to appreciate their mistreatment. Family First means nothing to abusers, just as America First is too much for some of our politicians to stomach.

One of the excuses you always hear when there’s a massive failure by the Biden-Harris administration is that no one could have seen it coming. No one could have predicted that the Inflation Reduction Act would actually increase inflation. No one could have predicted that the Afghan government would collapse immediately after we pulled out our troops, leading to a security breakdown and the deaths of 13 U.S. military personnel. No one could have predicted that shipping pallets of cash to Iran would provide funding for a new campaign of terrorist attacks by Iran’s proxies, and so on. The truth though is that all of these disasters were easily foreseeable.

Gang members brandishing automatic rifles stormed through a town in Haiti’s main breadbasket region, killing at least 70 and forcing over 6,000 to flee, causing widespread shock even in a country grown accustomed to outbreaks of violence. More people were severely injured in the attack in the early hours of Thursday at Pont-Sonde, in the agricultural region of Artibonite in western Haiti. Gran Grif gang leader Luckson Elan took responsibility for the massacre, saying it was in retaliation for civilians remaining passive while police and vigilante groups killed his soldiers.
