Donald Trump says he will vote “no” on Florida’s abortion-rights referendum, after angering pro-lifers by suggesting that he would support the bill earlier this week.
Florida Amendment 4 would enshrine a constitutional right to abortion in the state. When asked on Thursday if he would vote for the ballot measure, Trump said that “I think the six-week [abortion ban] is too short. There has to be more time, and I’ve told them that I want more weeks,” leaving pro-life Republicans to assume that the president would vote for the referendum. Trump’s campaign later defensively said that he “has not yet said how he will vote on the ballot initiative”

I guess it's time to review what we who served in the military were taught about the word assume. I stopped reading anything in the National Review a long time ago. I didn't read the entire article. It's hard for me to understand how people "assumed" Trump was in favor of this proposal based on what was quoted here. Maybe switching to decaf would be in order?

1. I never believed Donald Trump was prolife or a conservative culture warrior.
2. He defeated Roe. Period.
3. It is not Trump's job to win the culture war. That is your job and mine.
4. Ronald Reagan was sincerely prolife and in fact wrote a book on the topic: "Abortion and the Conscience of a Nation," in which he advocated ZERO exceptions besides Life of the mother. Ronald Reagan could not be elected today.
These are the facts. Work with what you have. Take the wins that come. Don't be a fool. Vote Trump and convert people to your side by reason and witness.

Abortion is the largest arrow in the liberal armory. Trump shouldn't help them use it.

Dear one note samba voters of ANY letter, but especially Pro Life crowd.. are ya gonna vote for a D that had an abortion clinic parked in front of their convention?
PDJT is pro life- he believes the states make the rules on abortion. He is as closely aligned to pro life leader you will ever have- so shut up and vote for him in November.

In 1942 German, if you could have outlawed the haulocost in Treblinka but not Daschau, you wouldn't do it?
And if you couldn't stop Hitler in Daschau, but you could set half of the victims free, you wouldn't do it?
Legally free. Half of the victims get to walk out. You would say No, unless they all get out, no one gets out.
Really?

Don't paint pro-lifers with a broad brush. Everyone in this house will be voting for Trump, warts and all.
The alternative is unthinkable.
And if Wao She Dum wins, as I believe will happen, don't blame "all the one-issue Christians who stayed home." That dog won't hunt.

We should not be depending on any administration or government to solve this issue. So many have sat on the sidelines waiting for someone else to deal with the cultural rot through legislation. The effort should instead be to Change the Culture. CHANGE THE HEARTS AND THE LAWS DON'T MATTER!

Up to the state...each state must decide this issue of when to kill a growing baby...many states now allow abortion up to delivery date...but that's because these states have politicians that reap a harvest from the sale of the body parts...it's been documented...there are goons who cut up babies for body parts....as a mother and grannie and great grannie...it makes me sick....

Abortion has literally saved this nation. We would have had 10 times as many violent fatherless welfare thugs by now, burning down cities, raping
and killing, and bankrupting us into oblivion.

afaik, the abortion debate, and laws, are the responsability of each state, under a state's powers to legislate
for the health education and welfare of the citizens of each state.
it is not, and never was, allowed to be decided by congress or by scotus. roe was wrongo.
pdt fixed it. now it is up to each of you.

Re: poster 11. You just described the Biden-Harris invasion of more than 20 million felons over our southern border and those without documentation being flown overnight into our larger cities by the same administration
