That process continued last night with the address from their newly minted Vice Presidential candidate, Tim Walz. The press was eating up the appearance of Walz's family in the audience, particularly his sobbing son who proudly declared, "That's my dad!" There is a simple reason Kamala Harris won't discuss policy, and everybody on the left including the mainstream media are breathing a sign of relief.
It's pretty simple: the few policies she has released as a candidate have been ridiculously destructive, and the ones she has shut up about are going to be worse. Imagine what every billionaire donor thought when they heard that Harris is coming for their unrealized capital gains.

For the past few days, rumors and reports have indicated that the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics was going to downwardly revise their assessment of the number of jobs created from April 2023 to March 2024 “by up to 1 million. This means that all ‘beats’ recorded in the past year will have been misses and the US job market is in far worse shape than the admin[istration] would admit.”
The revision is out, and while it’s not quite a million, it’s still really darn high — 818,000 fewer jobs created in that yearlong period than were initially reported.

The pickups are expected to be a full-size truck, which will be produced at the Tennessee plant that's currently under construction in 2027, and a new midsize pickup.

A federal judge in Texas on Tuesday barred a Federal Trade Commission rule from taking effect that would ban agreements commonly signed by workers not to join their employers’ rivals or launch competing businesses.
US District Judge Ada Brown in Dallas said the FTC, which enforces federal antitrust laws, does not have the authority to ban practices it deems unfair methods of competition by adopting broad rules.
Brown had temporarily blocked the rule in July while she considered a bid by the US Chamber of Commerce, the country’s largest business lobby, and tax service firm Ryan to strike it down entirely. The rule was set to take effect Sept. 4.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz bashed rival Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) for attending Yale — after Walz followed a long list of Yale- and Ivy-League-educated speakers at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Illinois, on Wednesday.
“I grew up in Butte, Nebraska. A town of 400 people,” Walz said, continuing: “I had 24 kids in my high school class. And none of them went to Yale.” Walz, the Democratic nominee for vice president, has frequently attacked Vance, the Republican nominee for the position, as if he were an elitist for going to Yale, despite the fact that Vance grew up in poverty in rural America.

Walz has exaggerated, distorted, and outright lied about his military service, including his final rank at retirement.
