Tim Walz Bashes JD Vance for Going to

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz bashed rival Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) for attending Yale — after Walz followed a long list of Yale- and Ivy-League-educated speakers at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Illinois, on Wednesday. “I grew up in Butte, Nebraska. A town of 400 people,” Walz said, continuing: “I had 24 kids in my high school class. And none of them went to Yale.” Walz, the Democratic nominee for vice president, has frequently attacked Vance, the Republican nominee for the position, as if he were an elitist for going to Yale, despite the fact that Vance grew up in poverty in rural America.

Waltzy needs a new tailor and some body language coaching. His arms wave at inopportune times and in an unfortunate manner. And for all his money, he could get a suit jacket that fits better. And after he gets cleaned up and coached, maybe he could read and educate himself about some new policies. (Bozo)

He can't even get his own life story correct. Born in West Point on the eastern edge of Nebraska, Walz was mostly raised in Valentine a few miles from Fort Niobrara National Wildlife Refuge. The family moved to Butte, about 100 miles from Valentine when he was a sophomore in high school.

Depending upon the time period, attending one of the Ivy League schools either meant that you were sufficiently intelligent or your family had money or previous family members were alumni. One can usually tell which was the case. From the Obama years onward, they dropped any sort of standards and operated solely on racial quotas. Obama himself was a mystery student, if he attended at all. Only Doctor Ukelele knows.

#2 I noticed he needed a couple more inches on the bottom of his jacket the first time I saw him ditty bopping on the stage at the DNC. And does he have no dress shoes with black soles. When he and Mr. Kamala are together, all you notice is their white shoe soles. But those are just small problems with this one.

I just finished Vance's book and highly recommend it. The man pulled himself up and out of about the worst situation you can imagine. The area itself is a soul crushing, opiate addicted part of our country that normal people would want no part of. Vance knows more about poverty and dysfunction than 99% of the people in this country. Walz is a fool for even trying this gambit.

Democrat Party operative David Axelrod took Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s endorsement of Donald Trump hard. The former campaign and White House adviser to Barack Obama took to social media to air his grievances over the scion of the premier Democrat political family endorsing the Republican standard bearer. “Robert F. Kennedy was my political hero,” Axelrod said. “He battled fiercely & eloquently against poverty, injustice and for economic fairness. Sadly RFK Jr, who made a rambling exit from the race today, proves that sometimes an apple DOES fall far from the tree…in this case, down a hill and over a cliff.” (X)

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has suspended his campaign and endorsed Donald Trump. It’s been an event for a long time coming. Mr. Kennedy was never going to win the presidency, but he did have some strong support when Joe Biden was the 2024 nominee. It was significant enough to impact the president’s standings in some key swing states. With Biden gone, Mr. Kennedy was siphoning more votes away from Trump. While the two men don’t have much in common regarding their agenda, Mr. Kennedy said that defending free speech, the war in Ukraine, and the war on our children drove him to quit the 2024 race and get behind Mr. Trump.

On Friday afternoon, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. announced that he is suspending his campaign and endorsing Donald Trump. In a speech that lasted over 45 minutes, he explained his rationale for dropping out, how he wants to help Trump, and what he hopes his legacy will be. It was a powerful, epic speech, and even though conservatives have plenty to disagree with RFK over, his idea of a unity campaign with Trump combined with his desire to make America healthy again is admirable. Here's the speech in its entirety. Forgive me if there are errors; I tried to catch them all. I'm sorry to keep everybody waiting.

Donald Trump thanked Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Friday after the scion of the legendary family offered him a dynamic-shifting endorsement. Kennedy stated Friday he is suspending his campaign but not ending it, urging residents of blue states to vote for him but throwing his support behind former President Donald Trump in battleground states. The distinction is important for Kennedy, whose candidacy was composed of supporters and volunteers from across the political spectrum. But Kennedy ripped Trump’s opponent, Kamala Harris, while praising Trump Friday, and for all practical purposes, this is an endorsement, plain and simple.
