Cardinal Blase Cupich, the progressive Catholic Archbishop of Chicago, offered the invocation for the Democratic National Convention (DNC) Monday without ever mentioning Jesus Christ. (snip) In his anodyne address, Cardinal Cupich avoided abortion and all other relevant issues in the election to focus on niceness. He may call himself a Christian, but he isn't. He doesn't believe in Jesus. He may not even believe in a creator God. That becomes necessary when one wants to replace God with man. If you want to see other models of this, just look at the state-run religions in China and Russia.

First it was " take the Christ out of Christmas" so that nobody will be offended and it will be inclusive. Now the Catholic Church (or many in Catholic leadership) have removed Christ from Catholicism and Christianity in general to pander to their liberal factions. Religion is just a business pushing a product to them. They don't really believe their businesses core beliefs or tenets. They just like the benefits.

This is the type of Cardinal who voted for the current Pope. I believe in Jesus Christ, I believe in the Catholic Church, but many of those who evolved into it's leadership are guiding the Ship of Christ onto the shoals. The ship will survive the rocks and one day be rescued, we just have to keep the Faith and wait for Jesus to save it.

Another indication that there are two Catholic Churches, one the spiritual church that commenced to exist over two thousand years ago; and the the second a worldly Catholic Church that has been embedded in Caesar’s politics run by many functionaries that many times have two personas, one in sunlight, and one very much in darkness.

Because the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld California outlawing talk therapy for minors with unwanted same-sex attraction, it must likewise uphold Idaho's ban on invasive and potentially irreversible medical treatments to make gender-confused minors resemble the opposite sex, the Gem State's outside lawyer told a three-judge panel Thursday.
