As Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and his police chief were frantically calling Governor Tim Walz in the summer of 2020 to save a besieged police precinct, Governor Tim Walz refused to send National Guard soldiers to help the beleaguered police officers. Later, in rationalizing and justifying his conscious decision to let riots metastasize, Walz said the Guard wasn't up to the task. [tweet] He went on to say, "Putting a young troop with limited experience in the military with a loaded automatic weapon in the middle of a system with no one giving him direction
That was on Wednesday, by the time Walz finally authorized the deployment of "19-year-old" cooks,

While I appreciate Watzy being exposed for the ha(r)ppy fraud he is, we need to stay focused on Heelzup and her record.
And as Charles Payne pointed out, she’ll say anything to get (s)elected. Then govern as the communist she is.

Shamala and the Creep©
Watched them bouncing about on stage a couple of days ago, the only thing missing was the frizz hair, red bulb noses and size 24 shoes. Shamala jiggles in place and cackles her head off, while The Creep wanders about with open mouth looking like a cross between Bozo and John Gacy in makeup.
What an impressive Executive line-up...NOT.

For reference, Audie Murphy, Medal of Honor Recipient and the most decorated American soldier if World War II, earned the Medal of Honor at, let me see; oh yes, age 19. Just sayin'.

Addendum to post #6:
William “Willie” Johnston was awarded the Medal of Honor during the American Civil War AT THE RIPE OLD AGE OF ELEVEN.
Jacklyn Harold "Jack" Lucas was an American Marine in World War II who was awarded the Medal of Honor at the age of 17 years as a private first class in the Marine Corps during the Battle of Iwo Jima.
These are just three examples. I'm sure there are more.
Tim Walz, you are a fraud and a coward. ESAD. Like most DemonCommieCrats, you should rightfully be in prison.

Yeah, I’m sure that all those men and women in the National Guard at that time, some whom have been in for perhaps 20 years loved to hear that comment.

He despises his own kind. Self-hate is a real problem for individuals. Psychologists will tell you its at the center of a lot of really bad personality traits and violent anti-social behaviors, like serial killing.

First, ALL of our nation's wars have been fought with 19 year olds (and younger.)
Second, EVERY soldier in the Army, since at least WW1, has received basic combat training before being sent into harm's way. If needed to do so, they are trained to abandon their actual positions in admin or finance or the motor pool or the mess hall or even the hospital, and take their place "in the line."
Although older than 19 (about 34), the first person to be awarded the Medal of Honor during World War II, was Sergeant Jose Calugas, Battery B, 1st Battalion, 88th Field Artillery, for actions on the Bataan Penninsula. His actual position in his unit was Mess Segeant. In other words . . . . a cook.
To re-iterate what the OP said, Tim Walz is the Commander in Chief of the Minnesota National Guard. If Walz thinks his young soldiers aren't up to it, and that they are "in the middle of a system with no one giving him direction" - the person to correct that is YOU, "Commander in Chief Master Sergeant"!
And you are seriously above your pay grade.

his unit would do better with a teen-age cook than a fat lying coward.

Why would the Minnesota Democrats back the promotion of a man to the rank of Command Sergeant Major in their National Guard who disrespects his troops by referring to them in such terms as being a gaggle of 19 year old untrained cooks? When I was 17 years old I was a US Army infantryman on the ground in Korea near the demilitarized zone facing North Korea for over a year. My immediate supervisory non-commissioned officer (squad leader) was a career infantryman who had fought with the Japanese-American 442nd Regiment in Italy during the Second World War, and my platoon sergeant was also a career infantryman who had fought with Merrill’s Marauders in Burma during the Second World War. Both had also seen combat during the Korean War. Their jobs were to ensure that all the young troops under their control were fully trained as we”Humped the Yamas” just about every day and a lot of nights. Those career non-commissioned officers never made disrespectful or disparaging remarks toward their troops. No doubt there is a big difference between legitimate career non-commissioned officers and the fake politician class that shuns active service in combat zones. Following all that I spent the entire year 1968 on the ground in Vietnam as a Staff Sergeant and luckily came back to the USA all in one piece. I thought I would give a little different perspective on all that based upon my experiences of long ago.

I served in the Guard in the 60's/70's. We not only had combat training but urban control training, as it was a tumultuous time. Does Waltz know he was the CIC of the Minnesota Guard and if they hadn't been trained properly it's his fault.
