Republican vice presidential candidate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), fact-checked CNN’s Dana Bash, telling her that Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) “knew he was going to Iraq.”
During an interview with Bash on Sunday, Vance clarified that Walz “lied” when he had said he did not know his unit would be deployed to Iraq at the time he had “decided to retire.” “On the question of when he left the National Guard, he filed his election paperwork, February 10th, 2005,” Bash told him. “That was a month before the National Guard even announced that it was possible that they would deploy to Iraq and it ended up being two months —

If this Walz dufas thought the truth would not come out then he was biggly mistaken. Using military service where others have lost their lives or had life changing injuries is disgraceful and the coward deserves every inch of scrutiny and the scorn of every voter and patriot in this country. Walz and Harris are two of a kind, will do and say anything for power and personal gain. FKM FTW MAGA

I would bet there are many members of the legacy media who NOT want to interview J.D. Vance.

Citing CNN (“last night”) to contradict the host was a kill shot.
Not for nothing I think we’ve found that “lying, dog-faced pony soldier” we’ve heard Traitor Joe talk about

You know at least a year in advance if you are going to deploy overseas.

Actually I think it would be a great idea for all Pubbies to randomly announce on-the-spot fact checks on the so-called journalists.

When just about everyone, including the battalion commander, the real Sergeant Major, and the enlisted men throughout the battalion who deployed to Iraq, come out and say that Walz lied about the end of his time in the National Guard, you can take that to the bank, especially since the Walz told lies about that issue appear to be lining up. So you can see why Harris picked Walz.

Amen, poster #1, but it's gotta be exhausting. It wears me out trying to watch manly Dana defending everything leftist like the pathetic shill that she is. Ditto for all of them; they're disgusting, and they don't even try to hide their bias; they're all in, and see pushing the leftist agency as their jobs. How do they sleep at night?

We should start calling her "DNC Dana." The first thing she does every morning is read the DNC "talking points" emails from the DNC as well as any urgent Faxes from the Kamala Kampaign Kamp.
Dana does the DNC Factoid:
"From 1998 to 2007, Bash was married to Jeremy Bash, who would become CIA chief of staff and Department of Defense chief of staff under President Barack Obama."

Hollywood even made a movie called Stop-Loss about people getting deployed to Iraq. Tim-Tim made sure he called it quits just in time. By the way, the movie stunk and lost a ton of money.

I saw this via Rumble yesterday. JD Vance handled that CNN democrat spokesperson Dana Bashed expertly.

The worst part about it is that if Walz was not lying about it, it would be perfectly acceptable, at least as it appears from this article. As I read it, Walz had started running for Congress when he learned that his unit would likely deploy to Iraq in the middle of the campaign. So, he decided to retire in order to continue his campaign. But since then he has claimed to have been deployed to combat, which never happened. That suggests that, much like John Kerry, his time in the National Guard was merely staging for his future political career.

#11: People got stop-lossed going to Afghanistan, too.
The Army had told me - absolutely, adamantly, no exceptions possible - that I had to retire in Oct 2002. Then in October, they told me I couldn't retire as my unit was going to A-stan, There had been strong rumors this would happen, but it was not officially announced, and who exactly was going, until well into 2003. We got there in June.
Walz and I held the same rank, Master Sergeant, with both of us "acting", me an acting First Sergeant, he an acting Command Sergeant Major, both of us part of the command staff of our respective units. It was my duty to go with my unit.
FYI: The article quoted in this article says Walz' unit was the "1-125th Battalion". There is no such thing. The unit is the 1st Battalion, 125th Field Artillery Regiment (with the "regiment" normally being "understood".). Battalions consist of companies, which are lettered, not numbered, so you could say "A-125th Battalion", but companies don't have sergeants major.

Vance doesn't let any of the lefty media get by with anything. He is prepared and well spoken on anything they try to throw at him.
