Kamala Harris has chosen Minnesota's progressive governor Tim Walz as her running mate after weeks of speculation, according to CNN.
The 60-year-old father-of-two, who has been married to his teacher wife Gwen since 1994, joins the ticket in a victory for the progressive left of the party who were concerned about some of the other contenders' support of Israel.
In Minnesota he has codified the right to abortion, signed universal free school meals, legalized recreational marijuana and gave voting rights to former prisoners.

YES... this is great! First decision - disaster! Let's talk about those riots in MN that destroy their cities and Kamala trying to raise money to free those rioter and her hatred of "the blue"... great selection Kamala... we appreciate that. Chose an old, white hair governor who basically destroyed their major city in the state! Thanks!

Good. Walz is a wacko. Shapiro would have been better. Good choosing, Kamala!

#4 beat me to it. Kamalalala didn't "pick" anybody. She was TOLD by her overlords who her running mate would be. They picked another Communist to help her out. He'll be doing all the talking from now on. Kamalalala won't grant interviews to anyone but Lesley Stahl, Joy Reid, Rachel Maddow et al.
This is good. J.D. Vance will smoke this bozo like a cheap cigar.

So much for balancing the ticket by going with a moderate pick! Far lefty. Hopefully makes them easier to beat.

How uninspiring. Do you notice all of these people who espouse racism, diversity, and equity always end up picking the old white guy?

Agree that Harris did not pick Walz. He was selected for her by the same people that selected Harris herself. Talk about doubling down on leftist policies and rhetoric!
This election offers a real choice and will be a test of the American voter's intelligence, wisdom, and honesty. A vote for Harris will be a vote for all the failed policies we have seen for 12 years under Obama and Biden. These policies are suicidal, and we know it. There will be no excuse if we continue down that path.

Couldn’t pick Shapiro, eh! Din’t want to diss the Squad. An old white guy, what’s he ever done? Vance will show us what the real Midwest/Heartland is made from.
Harris, who spent her formative years in Canada’s fine schools, she’s got nothing to offer most Americans. She can keep appealing to all the cat moms. If her message is too weird for us, it’s because she’s not one of us.

She was installed as the nominee without contesting a single primary, winning a single vote or delegate. Do you seriously think she picked anyone? Why does the MSM go through this game of let's pretend?

Shapiro was the smarter choice but today's Democrat party has a antisemitism problem that would have been highlighted in Chicago during the "convention".
However, Walz talks like a bully and will be the bulldog their campaign will want with all the media supporting the team.
And, unless the Republicans can find a good message that highlights the expense of these programs which don't fix anything (only grows the size of government which is their real intent - built in voters to maintain their jobs) they will find this the transformational election that Obama promised in 2008 AFTER he won the election.

While I agree that this is a massive gift to our side - - the one thing that disturbs me - - is that this clown bears a moderate resemblance to our beloved Rush Limbaugh.
And I fear that every time this communist's mug appears on my TV or computer screens - - it will sadden me to think how much we all miss The Great El Rushbo. What fun he would have had - - mocking this sickening pair of commies.

Waltz, the Commie, looks like a tough, white guy, but I bet JD Vance will have him squealing like a stuck pig when they debate. Waltz will do the only thing they know, talk about the cat ladies. It really seems like they know they're going to lose, so they're giving in already.

Let's follow the trail of insiders here.
2008 Obama elevates three-times failed candidate Biden to VP, party rubber stamps choice
2020 the party elite elevate failing candidate Biden to the top of the ticket by forcing others out of primaries
2020 Biden chooses Harris, delegates and voters can only rubber stamp his choice
2024 the party elite force Biden out and elevate Harris to the top of the ticket; rubber stamp follows
2024 Harris chooses Walz, rubber stamp to follow.
2028 or 2032? Please let's not contemplate a Walz presidential bid down the road, but it could happen.
Show me where the will of the voters, even just those inside the Democrat primary process is here?
On the other hand, Trump wins the nomination by the normal process THREE times! And who is the threat to Democracy?

I think she did pick him, and overruled everyone else in the process.
The choice is so bad, it is hard to believe that she was told to pick him.
She needed a VP that she could control and who would not overshadow her.
The really good news is that Kamala may not be a puppet and will be making her own (bad) decisions.
