Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) announced the filing of a privileged motion to impeach Kim Cheatle, the Director of the United States Secret Service, on Monday night.
Mace sharply criticized the performance of U.S. Secret Service DEI Director Kim Cheatle during a House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearing.
Mace accused Cheatle of being evasive, dodging critical questions, and displaying a lack of transparency.
The heated exchange between Mace and Cheatle can be viewed here. Below is a transcript of some of the key moments:

That's exactly what I was thinking they need to do.

Cheatle couldn't find her hind end without calling the FBI to investigate. Of course she should be impeached. Neither DJ nor Kammie are willing to fire her.

Cheatle is covering up. She made no preparation for today's hearing, because none was required to stonewall. Republicans have held meaningless hearings for almost 2 years, have had their subpoenas, impeachments, contempt citations, and letters requesting information ignored. I have not seen a single administration official answer a question, respond to their letters, and any documents provided have been ludicrously redacted. No American has any idea who works for them, or how to contact them. The assassination attempt coverup is looking like the Michael Brown murder of Ashli Babbitt coverup, where Brown was housed in an army post for 6 weeks. The American people have been lied to over and over: Watergate, Waco, Ruby Ridge, Flight 800, Kennedy assassination, Ukraine, and a very long list of more times.

I wouldn't fire anyone unless I knew the replacement would be a significant improvement. If she was fired her replacement would be picked by Ole Joe or Dr. Jill. President Trump needs to hire his own security team. The current regime can't change the light bulb in a refrigerator.

My question would of been Since you can't answer our questions why do we need SS? Lets just roll the SS into the FBI and create a whole new agency called Got our S*it together and take the best agents from both groups and fire all the current leaders.

I am coming to the conclusion that there are mid-level field commanders in the Service who from time to time receive standing orders, probably from higher ups outside the Service (think Homeland Security/DOJ), that they are to stand down from any security breaches they run into that are directed at some specific targets of the Administration's ire. Just take a break, make a radio call, whatever, and let it play out. If it "works out" for the Admin, nail the perpetrator AFTERWARDS, call the counter-snipe a win for protecting the bystanders, and have a classy funeral. If not, well, hit the perp, write a couple of reports, and say "d*mn" until next time.
Trouble is, this time the perp failed, civilians were killed and injured, and the Service reacted so late as to have egg on their faces. Now they have such a mess to clean up, and there were enough public witnesses, recordings and videos of the people, events and timelines that the truth is very likely to pour out. This is clearly going to get worse, and between the follow-up, whistleblowers and internal "cleanup", the heads that "roll" may not all be figurative. Stay tuned.and eyes open.

You can get away with dodging one or two questions in front of congress but Cheatos dodged them all day long. She is either incredibly stupid and incompetent or she is attempting to hide something that is in plain sight. In this case, both could be true.

She answered almost not questions and evaded or deflected the rest.
Remind you of anyone? Remember who her boss is.
If she is fired, she will be yet another "first" for this administration. Biden doesn't fire anyone, so how bad do you have to be to get fired from this clown show administration?
