a Betrayal or a Strategy?

In his recent Michigan speech Trump addressed Project 2025, and did so in a way disturbingly similar to Globalist and Democrat responses.
“You have the radical left and the radical right and they come up — I don’t know what the hell it is, it’s Project 25….He’s involved in project — and then they read some of the things and they are extreme, they’re seriously extreme.
“But I don’t know anything about it, I don’t want to know anything about it.”
The question is, is that because he’s following a strategy of least offence now, or is it because he genuinely shares leftist attitudes to what Project 2025 wants to do?

Project 2025 is some proposals by some people.
They might have great ideas. They might be stupid.
Trump doesn’t know because there are tons of self important think tanks who make proposals. Some are good; some good; some mixed.
Regardless, it hasn’t nothing to do with Trump.

I find it "interesting" that the muppets on MSDNC, CNN etc. spend so much time panicking about Project 2025 while ignoring Trumps *actual* ideas to be found at https://www.donaldjtrump.com/agenda47.

Who the H3ll does the Heritage Foundation think they are that they expect their Project 2025 to be embraced by Republicans and Independents with no discussion? They have every right to put forth their ideas. President Trump and the people have every right to reject them. Some of their ideas can rightly be considered extreme. They should not be trying to push them now before the election. If Trump wins, they will have a seat at the table. If the Democrats win they will not. It is as simple as that.

Why would he lock himself into everything from Project 2025. I think he has already provided what his agenda will be. He will be the leader of the Republican agenda and won't be led by another group.

Sometimes I wonder if there are people within these organizations who have a vendetta against Trump.
They need to let him run his campaign and quit trying to form it without his involvement. Let Trump do what he wants and quit giving the media more fake reasons to constantly throw at Trump. The media is relentless, lets keep Trumps support clean, pure and tough.

It's strategy. Pure and simple. Heard the head of the Heritage Foundation on Glen Beck and he's taking it in stride. He wasn't offended by the distancing. He understands politics. Beck ran through the liberal fearmongering points and the Heritage guy called everyone of them lies--except getting rid of the Dept. of Education. Trump has to bring in the independents and he's doing that--along with democrats who are aghast at what their party has become. Hold on. He's coming.

Democrats openly advance the Center for American Progress, but pale at the idea of anything from Heritage. Project 2025 represents a boogeyman they can run against. Probably has some good ideas in its 900 pages, but it's not part of the campaign.

Pffft...it's a White Paper, from a Think Tank, been around/issued for 6 months, SUDDENLY Dems turn it into a talking point/major Issue.
They also did that with "Demand Putin stop interfering in elections"..rudely, and insultingly, demanded of Trump while he was seated with Putin on a state visit. BOTH Trump and Putin already KNEW that all of the collusion/interference allegations were totally false, but Mueller was months away from confirming that(though he and all of the investigators already knew) Trump turned to Putin and said "Don't interfere with our elections"...Putin said "OK, I won't".
Media STILL harped on that fake story, still does, even after the Mueller investigation PROVED that none of it ever happened, none of it was ever an issue.
Same thing with the "Proud Boys", Trump was rudely and insultingly demanded to disavow the "Proud Boys", he didn't even know who or what they were, what the Reporter was talking about. He had to ask them "What is it you want me to do", they demanded he tell the Proud Boys "stand down", Trump shrugged and said "Ok, Proud boys, stand down, stand back, stand by...whatever". Yet media still beat him up over it from then until now.
Key difference Green Nude Eel, BBB, WEF's Agenda 21...ALL of which Biden publicly denied he had any part in, was going to try to implement, had any attachment to...BUT...as soon as elected implemented, often word for word via Executive orders, party line vote legislation, administrative law/regulatory decrees. Multi Trillion$ programs, with zero Repub votes, cancellation of existing contracts , leases, programs, even treaties with no vote at all.
Even right now while Dems are attacking Trump over Heritages "Agenda 2025"(which takes it's title directly from WEF's papers) WEF has released their Agenda 2030" some of which is parts of Bidens campaign Platform and Promises, verbatim..

I remember when I first heard about QAnon. The hype was quite big. I watched and it became clear that QAnon was just a product that some people would consume. There was no "there" there. Now, I think it was a bogey man created by the dims or maybe even the intelligence community. Or maybe it was a product turned into a bogey man by them. Certain Dims LOVED to hate it.
As # 1 and others observed, Project 2025 is a white paper. The Dims are turning it into a bogey man, because that's all they have to offer to the voter. And Dim voters fall for it every single time: Bush Hitler, Trump Hitler, end of the world, end of democracy, etc.
To think that Project 2025 is some sacred document that Trump needs to genuflect to - a roadmap he needs to commit to - is not something we should be thinking.

Actually, Trump hasn't committed or rejected anything, it's not his plan, but the media are acting like a flock of clucking chickens.

Just a smoke screen. Many of the things on this will be done. I haven't even seen the whole thing, and I am not wedded to it in any way.
Noise, distraction and confusion. Just STOP IT.

The bat**** crazy left has hit a new low in trashing Project 2025. President Trump is distancing himself from it, saying he likes parts of it and dislikes parts of it. They're trying their best to hang it around his neck. A brief description of the 4 pillars has no mention of “Republican”, and I doubt there is one in the whole 900 pages. My Feeling is that it's just a conservative road map to that Shining City on the Hill.

A lot of conservatives are suffering from Battered Wife Sydrome. We’re hyper vigilant for the next blow. It’s understandable, as we’ve been punched, kicked and stabbed in the back by our own people for decades. At some point, we’re going to have to trust. What other choice is there. Knowing President Trump, he probably got the talking points from someone on his team or read the bullet points himself. The leftist scare meme is everywhere on social media. I’m sure The President means he had no hand in creating it. One of the points is to ban abortion completely. President Trumps has repeatedly said SCOTUS got it right and it’s a state issue. Case closed.

We are having leadership lapses as the lefttoids try to stir their witches' cauldron of evils: wrong ideas, wrong ppl,
pushing themselves into the spotlight-or the void. ppl we like, who should not be pushy, rude, or insulting to experts
we've depended upon to unravel the crazy in NY ATL DC FLA PA WI. we appreciate their help.
Families, moderates, lefties who left the Left for PDT are frustrated, the RNC is still too whacko. Good ppl stepped up to
help PDT in the cheap fake court cases, bannon and navarro falsely imprisoned, team evil's latest attempts to steal the
election --AND kill PDT. there's no time for games.
afaik, this project is meant to assist pdt in avoiding situations that cost him dearly-and his supporters- in 2016.
they're training up staff, and experts, creating more and better choices-not beltway sinecures-for pdt to move
forward, with his plans and ideas... without the gaslighting, manipulating, painful consequences.
PDT is free to take them or leave them. We are free to ignore the shade thrown by the mrxistas.

This is a valid worry. Too often Trump goes with sentiment rather than reason. Many of his new fans lean to the left and he may think he has to pander to them. He is our last chance for sanity and I hope he doesn't blow it.
