It appears that MSNBC is shocked to see some of the biggest names in Republican politics conspicuously absent from the RNC.
Who are these conservative luminaries? (X Photo) Among the “notable Republicans” absent from the convention: George W. Bush, Mike Pence, Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney and Paul Ryan. (Photo) What an unfathomable loss; how can the convention go on without these critical thought leaders? More importantly, how could their consciences permit them to forsake the voters who look to them for leadership?

Don't forget Adam Kinzinger, one of the great "Republicans" of our generation. Anyway, it isn't about Republicans, its about Washington insiders.

I don't see any notable Republicans on that list. They're not even Republicans.

I'd guess that 'Gage Klipper' is engaging in a bit of subtle sarcasm.
He can't be serious, can he?

Only one I am disappointed in is W. The others I would not be surprised for an oder to use deadly force to keep out.

I’m glad someone posted this, because so many of us hadn’t noticed. Similar to the experience of having a mosquito bite stop itching.

If only Cornyn and McConnell stayed away, it would be near perfect.
Mr Turtle showed up and got booed. I hope Cornhole stayed away, but he still sees opportunities to grift and pretend to be a Republican.

Has anyone considered that the Trump shooter, a registered Republican, became disenchanted with Trump because he listened to these 'notable Republicans'. He was probably more influenced by these 'conscientious Conservatives' rather than the lefty mob.

I used to think the Bush family had class, but after their petulant behavior after Trump defeated "low energy Jeb" fair and square, I realized that the Bushes are only gracious in victory, and are vindictive losers when defeated except when defeated by the Clintons.

The only reason that any of the people on the list are even considered "notable" by the media is because of their vocal opposition to Donald Trump. Not one of them has the achievements of Donald Trump, in or out of office. The media keeps their names and images alive to the American public. If not for their Trump Derangement Syndrome, they would be committed to the dustbin of history as insignificant has beens who did nothing of significance.
