The FBI clarified Friday that a bullet struck former President Donald Trump during an attempt against his life in a rally on July 13.
An attempted assassin present near a Trump rally in Pennsylvania on July 13 opened fire and injured the former president before he was neutralized by the Secret Service. FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress on Thursday that there were still “some questions” as to what exactly had struck Trump during the assassination attempt, whether it was a “bullet or shrapnel,” though did not directly mention whether glass fragments could be responsible, a theory that has been used by some in the media.

Former President Donald Trump announced on Friday that he will be returning to the town where he survived an assassination attempt earlier this month to hold a rally honoring those who were shot.
The former president was shot by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks on July 13 during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, as he spoke to thousands of supporters who were in attendance.
“I WILL BE GOING BACK TO BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA, FOR A BIG AND BEAUTIFUL RALLY, HONORING THE SOUL OF OUR BELOVED FIREFIGHTING HERO, COREY, AND THOSE BRAVE PATRIOTS INJURED TWO WEEKS AGO,” Trump posted

Advice to Israel: Get it done in Gaza fast and get to it with Hezbollah soon, because it’s a 50-50 proposition that Kamala Harris is going to be president in January.
And she is coming after you.
In her first major statement as the presumptive Democratic nominee, Harris began by saying Israel has the right to defend itself against terrorism.
Some commenters said she was therefore speaking supportive words. That is absurd on its face.
It actually goes without saying that every nation, in every circumstance, has the right to defend itself against terrorism, since terrorism is the act of deploying political violence against non-combatants. That includes bad nations, and mean nations,

On Tuesday, the House announced a task force to investigate the July 13 assassination attempt against former and potentially future President Donald Trump. It was a rare move of unanimity, as the plan to set up the task force passed by a vote of 416-0. The task force will be comprised of 13 members, Republicans and Democrats. One of the Democrats being considered is Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), which is raising eyebrows and causing outrage. The Friday morning newsletter from Punchbowl News references Goldman and even mentions that he's "seen as a strong candidate for the panel."

New York Attorney General Letitia James has warned the Supreme Court not to intervene in the sham hush-money case against Donald Trump.
Her warning comes after Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, a Republican, petitioned the Supreme Court for permission to file a complaint against the state of New York that would delay Trump’s September sentencing hearing and lift all his speech restrictions on the case.
Bailey argued that these restrictions represent an infringment on the right of Missourians to hear from prospective presidential candidates.

Kamala Harris was all smiles when she arrived at Joe Biden's former Delaware campaign headquarters on Monday.
She was there to lift the spirits of blindsided staffers, who after 15 months of toiling to re-elect the president, suddenly found themselves working for her.
'It is my great honor to have Joe's endorsement in this race,' she boasted to cheers from a crowd who were now on her payroll. But as the assembled readily applauded, some must have harbored private concerns.
For, behind the recent public self-branding of Harris as a kindly, jovial 'Momala', she has earned a nasty reputation as an alleged 'soul-destroying' workplace 'bully'.

Former White House Physician and U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) again debunked claims that former President Donald Trump was not hit by a bullet from the would-be assassin who attacked his Pennsylvania rally on July 13 after FBI Director Christopher Wray cast doubt on Trump being shot during congressional testimony this week. "With respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear," Wray told lawmakers on Wednesday.
Rep. Jackson — who has reviewed Trump's medical records, used to be his White House physician, and has checked the former president out since the assassination attempt — says otherwise.

GOP vice presidential nominee and Ohio Senator JD Vance has been under scrutiny by the mainstream media for comments he made in 2021 during an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News.Regardless of who Trump chose as his VP, the media would have found something to latch onto. They zeroed in on this clip from Vance, believing it would draw the most attention from voters. (X Video) Vance joined "The Megyn Kelly Show," and he addressed the "childless cat ladies" comment:
I know the media wants to attack me and wants me to back down on this, Megyn, but the simple point that I made is

Donald Trump has appeared without a bandage on his ear for the first time since he was shot in an assassination attempt - as his doctor released an update on his recovery and responded to doubts he was hit by a bullet.
The shocking new images show that the 45th president's right ear seems to have made a remarkably quick recovery in less than two weeks since a gunman opened fire on him.
Would-be assassin Thomas Crooks, 20, fired eight rounds from his AR-15 at the rally stage in Butler, Pennsylvania, including one that ripped through the president's ear.

Dennis Prager Show Producer and PragerU Co-founder Allen Estrin joined Breitbart News Daily host Mike Slater to talk about the two billion views a year that PragerU gets on its short-form video content and to share the latest PragerU five-minute video series: Economics 101.
Slater opened the segment by playing an audio clip of Vice President Kamala Harris saying: Equality suggests, often, everybody should get the same thing. Well, that often assumes everybody started out in the same place, as opposed to equity, which is everyone should end up in the same place. And if you then understand not everybody started out in the same place, you understand

Vice President Kamala Harris championed sanctuary cities when she served as district attorney in San Francisco, with her office saying at the time that “we are a sanctuary city, a city of refuge, and we always will be.”
Now with her as the Democrats’ leading presidential candidate and presumptive nominee, Republicans are pointing back to her liberal policies that were soft on illegal migrants.
Harris was elected as San Francisco’s DA in 2004, running on a campaign vowing to never impose the death penalty and supporting the city’s decades-old sanctuary city policy while in office.

Vice President Kamala Harris praised the radical “defund the police” movement in a newly unearthed radio interview from June 2020 that underscores her record as the most far-left senator in 2019.
GovTrack’s scorecard ranked her as the most liberal senator in 2019, further left even than socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). However, though it appears the list was still on its website as recently as this week, it is no longer there. The National Desk reported that GovTrack founder Joshua Tauberer said, “The page that you are referring to was based on a single calendar year. Several years ago we discontinued creating new single-calendar year ‘report cards.’”
