There has been no shortage of speakers at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee — and no shortage of speakers named Trump. RNC Co-Chair Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump, addressed the convention on Tuesday evening. Eldest son Don Jr. spoke Wednesday evening — though his 17-year-old daughter, Kai, stole a bit of his thunder. Thursday night, the last night of the convention, Eric Trump spoke ahead of his father's address, following moving remarks and prayer offered by Franklin Graham. Eric began by reflecting on his father's announcement to the family eight years ago that he'd made a decision that would forever change their lives.

Donald Trump may well have sealed the outcome of the 2024 election with a performance on Thursday night in Milwaukee that has largely been unmatched in recent American political history.
The former president eschewed the polarization and division that has marked much of his rhetoric in the past. In his speech officially accepting the Republican Party's nomination there were only a couple of references to the 2020 election. Trump was able to hit on key messages when speaking about topics like inflation, and especially immigration, in ways that were compelling and arguably responsive to the fundamental concerns of Americans.

Why does she always do this?
Kamala Harris was in North Carolina rallying a small crowd of supporters as Joe Biden stayed out of the public eye after he announced he has Covid.
Harris mustered a fake accent as she delivered a campaign speech to North Carolina rallygoers in a city near Fort Liberty (previously Fort Bragg).
“We too busy watchin’ what you doin’ to hear what you’re sayin,'” Harris said in her fake accent. (Video) Harris bragged about defying the Supreme Court in their taxpayer-funded student loan bailout.

Three generations of Donald Trump's family surrounded him on stage after he accepted the Republican nomination during a marathon speech recounting the horrifying moment he was shot by a would-be assassin.
Melania Trump came up behind her husband - still with a bandage on his ear - on stage then got a kiss on the cheek at the end of a historic night just days after he was inches of losing his life.
The 77-year-old's 93-minute speech, a record in modern history, started by recounting the moment where he was within a 'quarter of an inch' of being killed and reliving the amount of blood that spilled on his face.

MILWAUKEE — Donald Trump brought on stage the fire helmet and jacket of Corey Comperatore during his speech to the Republican National Committee Thursday — honoring the supporter murdered Saturday during the assassination attempt on the former president.
Trump, 78, kissed the helmet of Comperatore, 50, the former chief of the Buffalo Township, Pa., who was fatally struck by gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20.
Trump’s right ear was grazed by a bullet in the attack and he spoke with a bandage covering the wound. (Photo) Former President Donald Trump embraces a uniform representing firefighter Corey Comperatore who was shot and killed during a Trump campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

When Donald Trump seemed to have a lock on the 2016 Republican primary, the Democratic Party concluded that the people could not be counted on to do the "right thing" of electing the Democratic candidate in waiting for Hillary Clinton.
Eight long years of extralegal efforts followed to neuter the candidate, then President, then ex-President, and then-candidate again, Donald Trump.
The nonstop efforts were all justified as "saving democracy" -- albeit by nearly destroying it.
In 2015-2016, the Hillary Clinton campaign fueled the lie that discredited ex-British spy Christopher Steele had discovered Trump to be a veritable Russian agent.

Former President Donald Trump said he is only here today by the “grace of Almighty God,” recounting the moments he came close to certain death in intricate detail during his highly anticipated speech at the Republican National Convention on Thursday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, stating that he felt safe in many of those moments because he had God on his side.
Americans have been on the edge of their seats waiting to hear Trump’s first formal remarks less than one week from the day the former president almost lost his life — something most everyone admits was a miracle from above. Trump thanked the American people for their love and support

Joe Biden sat down for an interview with Black Entertainment Television (BET) host Ed Gordon to pander to black voters.
Joe “you ain’t black” Biden is struggling with black voters as the 2024 election cycle goes into full swing.
Meanwhile, President Trump is making inroads with blacks.
Biden’s interview with BET was a pathetic attempt to appeal to black voters. Biden rambled incoherently as he lied about his involvement in the civil rights movement. This is one of Biden’s favorite lies (he has many).
“I got involved in the civil rights movement [unintelligible].”

Donald Trump's former White House press secretary Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has words of advice for President Biden's top spokesperson as Democrats enter 'total meltdown' mode.
It's been a hectic three weeks since Biden and Trump's first debate, during which the 81-year-old president had a self-proclaimed 'bad night' filled with gaffes and stumbles.
Over 20 elected Democrats have since turned on Joe, publicly urging him to exit the 2024 race and allow a fresh candidate at the top of the ticket. Even former President Barack Obama reportedly told allies Biden should 'seriously consider' whether he should stay in the race, raising speculation he could drop out in a matter of days.

The CIA said Thursday it gave false information to Congress about the “Spies Who Lie” who suggested incriminating documents from Hunter Biden’s laptop were Russian disinformation.
In the stunning twist that’s heightening congressional doubts about the impartiality and reliability of America’s premier spy agency, the CIA said in a letter acquired by The Post that former agency acting director Michael Morell was not a contractor at the time he organized the October 2020 laptop statement.
That contradicted the agency’s previous testimony to Congress that he was under contract.
