FOX News host Jesse Watters addresses the inconsistencies in the Secret Service's version of events of the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.
JESSE WATTERS: His first since dodging an assassin's bullet, or as he's calling it, the greatest earache he's ever had. And as the details keep dripping out, we have more questions. Tonight, we're learning that the gunman was on law enforcement's radar for three hours, and the Secret Service designated Crooks a threat 10 minutes before Trump took the stage. And the Secret Service never said, Mr. President, don't go out there. They let Trump take the stage anyway. And eight minutes later, he was shot.

The answer is obvious, the excuse is incompetence. What's next - assume more of the same.

Occam's razor is a term used to describe that a complex situation usually is best described by the simplest explanation.
Applying Occam's razor to the assassination attempt and the bizarre circumstances with the actions (and inactions) of the Secret Service, the simplest explanation is this...
1. Crooks was a lone wold lunatic assassin. He was not a hired hand by anyone.
2. At some upper level of the Secret Service, a decision may have been made that, should a threat appear at some point in time, the entire protective detail would 'slow walk' every decision.
3. By 'slow walking' the response, the effect was to allow the shooter to go about his business without intervention.
4. By allowing Trump to take the stage while the Secret Service was aware of a threat dovetails into this explanation.
Recapping. Crooks was a lone wolf but job. But the Secret Service delayed their response and allowed Donald Trump on stage so the shooter could get his shots off.
This does not mean 100% this is correct. I present it only as a very simple set of conditions that perfectly explain what happened that day.

You know why, Jesse. That's a rhetorical question. They were hoping to kill off Trump and keep FJB on the ticket.

Executive privilege should not apply to this. Cheatle should be forced to appear before a congressional committee and asked hard questions. This comes across as deliberate exposure of the Resident's opponent to a known threat.

There's only somethings I want to know, and that is whether the glass company where he climbed on the roof had surveillance cameras and if they picked him up surveilling the place BEFORE it was announced to the public where the rally was going to occur. Were that to be the case, it would SCREAM "inside job" that there's a leak inside the Secret Service.
Otherwise, it's my suspicion that he fell under the influence of Antifa, who assigned him a "handler" who could provide him sniper training and teach him bomb making skills. There are number of "skills" this 20yo knew that most at his age don't know, without either military training or affiliation in a terrorist organization.

Had Trump not turned his head, the shooter would still have been taken out but the ensuing chaos over a dead Donald would have provided all the cover the big players needed. So what if a couple expendable agents go down for incompetence.

Why? Because they are scared crapless of him....can't control him, can't buy him, can't scare him off....I tell you, he is protected by the good Lord....witness the assassination attempt...he is protected...he is going to straighten out this mess of a country...despite the attempts by the left to take him out...

Some of the responses above made me wonder so I did some checking.
There's an article dated to July 4th reporting that the Trump campaign scheduled the visit to Butler, PA. Details here: https://www.wtae.com/article/trump-butler-rally/61503707
