An independent scientist and accomplished businessman delivered testimony before the Senate Tuesday morning going into detail on why he believes the coronavirus originated from a lab in Wuhan, China. Dr. Steven Quay, a scientist who authored a widely viewed Bayesian analysis concluding that the virus originated from a lab, testified before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and read a detailed opening statement dissecting the data backing up his belief that the virus came from the Wuhan lab. Quay, who has a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and was on the faculty at the Stanford University School of Medicine, described “six approaches”

Did it leak? Or WAS it leaked? If so who gave the orders? We all know the answers. But confirmation would be nice!

Lab "leak" and lab release are indestinguishable five minutes after the release. And if the Fauci funding hadn't permit the creation of this hellish virus, there would have been nothing to leak or release.

A very poor summary of Dr Ebright's testimony, indeed awful and useless. Dr Ebright's important points included that gain of function research served no civilian function whatsoever, that the virus began in the Wuhan lab, Covid 19 had no natural origin, and never would have one, that this type of research served only to make an agent of biological warfare. Those are the points that mattered, and it is worse than an oversight, indeed a fraud, not to mention the most important thing said in the hearing.

Re #8, yes, exactly the points that I have made repeatedly. If Dr. Fraud and Daszak in Canada hadn't directed and funded this development of a new, deadly virus using the cover story of scientific research into "gain of function" millions of people would still be alive. Creating a bioweapon is absolutely no different from 'gain of function' which was illegal to fund with US money, yet Dr Fraud did it anyway. And the Chinese did the work. Fauci and Daszak are mass murderers. It is just that simple.

Why are we still debating about where the Covid virus came from? It came from the Wuhan lab in China. We knew this in February of 2020. At what point is enough, enough? There must be enormous amounts of money to be made to constantly keep investigating this. There's even been a breakdown of the number of viruses that have infected the earth that have come out of China. The American people have moved on.

Former president Donald Trump, the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee, said during a campaign trip on Saturday that he has picked his vice presidential nominee just days before the June 27 presidential debate. Trump told reporters he’s chosen his running mate for the 2024 campaign but has not told the candidate yet. The vice-presidential choice will be attending the debate between Trump and President Joe Biden set to take place next week, Trump said. The first presidential debate between Trump and Biden will air on CNN in primetime for 90 minutes. Trump will be hoping Joe Biden’s age and apparent mental decline will be on display for a national audience.

We've seen some horrible cases in the news lately of murders allegedly committed by illegal aliens, including the case of 37-year-old mother of five, Rachel Morin, and that of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray. In the case of Morin, the suspect reportedly "illegally snuck into the US three times in two months and was booted — before apparently eluding agents on his fourth try." In the case of Jocelyn Nungaray, two illegal aliens from Venezuela were arrested in her strangulation murder, although you might not have known that they were illegal aliens if you just read the AP account, since the AP didn't include that.

The Wall Street Journal reports that corporate America is backpedaling away from “diversity”: White-collar companies that once championed programs to recruit diverse employees are now tiptoeing away from them. PricewaterhouseCoopers and JPMorgan Chase are among those that recently removed or altered descriptions of their programs for underrepresented students. The shift came after an “anti-woke” movement took aim at U.S. companies and a Supreme Court decision overturned affirmative action in college admissions. Employers’ embrace of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives peaked in 2021, sparked by the death of George Floyd and the height of the Black Lives Matter movement a year earlier

As we previously reported, Joe Biden is taking a whole week off from being president to prepare for his upcoming debate with Donald Trump. The debate, which will be hosted by CNN, will take place on Thursday—assuming Joe Biden shows up. So far, nothing, not even Trump's conviction in the sham trial in New York City, has managed to give Biden the boost he needs to be ahead in the race, and the Biden campaign is clearly aware that this is a make-or-break moment for the Biden campaign. Earlier this week, CBS senior White House correspondent Weijia Jiang raised some eyebrows when she explained to Robert Costa,

A longtime Democrat strategist calls it as it is - Joe Biden is his own biggest problem. Most Americans can see that but, interestingly, more party insiders are coming forward to state the obvious. Most Democrats are busy gaslighting Americans that President Biden is just fine. Behind closed doors, he's a bundle of energy focused on doing his job. Nah, don't fall for any of that malarkey. Democrat strategist Neil Oxman says the poll numbers show the president is now a negative factor for the Democrats. Biden is losing to former President Trump in battleground states, but Senate candidates are polling higher than their

This week we've seen a flurry of activity related to the first 2024 presidential debate between President Joe Biden and former POTUS Donald Trump, scheduled for Thursday, June 27th, and hosted/moderated by CNN. For instance, we've learned that Biden, as per the norm, will go into hiding to do preparations while Trump plans to stay out in the field campaigning. It has also been reported that independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. won't be on the debate stage after all due to an alleged failure to meet certain qualifying benchmarks. Media outlets like CBS News and the AP have also noted that the Biden campaign is promising some "surprises"

NEW YORK — Prosecutors who handled Donald Trump’s Manhattan criminal trial asked a judge to keep in place most of the restrictions imposed by a gag order, but conceded it was no longer necessary to limit the former president’s comments about witnesses who testified against him. In a filing made public Friday, prosecutors cited “intensified” threats against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, his family and the office’s staff, disclosing that two people involved in the case received bomb threats at their homes on the first day of the trial. Prosecutors described those threats as “directly connected to defendant’s dangerous rhetoric about this prosecution.”

Former U.S. attorney Joyce Vance in a Friday podcast episode accused former President Donald Trump of “abusing the system” by using his rights as a defendant to legally delay his cases. Trump has successfully delayed the cases he faces as a defendant, making it so some are unlikely to occur before the upcoming presidential election. Vance on “Defending Democracy” criticized Trump while praising Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and special counsel Jack Smith for their efforts to accelerate the cases against the former president and hold his “feet to the fire.” “I mean, it’s tough, right? It is a balancing act,” Vance said.

The Supreme Court on Friday upheld a federal statute that bans gun possession by individuals who are subject to a domestic violence-related restraining order. The 8-1 decision in United States v. Rahimi, in which only Justice Clarence Thomas dissented, reverses a previous Fifth Circuit ruling on the matter. “Since the founding, our Nation’s firearm laws have included provisions preventing individuals who threaten physical harm to others from misusing firearms,” writes Chief Justice John Roberts, adding that the federal statute at hand “fits comfortably within this tradition.”

Former President Donald Trump has made it a point to do something that most, if not all, previous Republican presidential candidates have failed to do in recent years: actively engage the black American community and try to earn their vote. On Saturday, in Philadelphia, Trump is doing exactly that by holding a rally in a predominantly “black and brown” (as the Left likes to say) neighborhood. And it seems to be a historic rally given that no other Republican candidate has seemingly held such a campaign event in such a neighborhood in Philadelphia in recent memory. The rally will be held at the Liacouras Center at Temple University.

The 1951 J.D. Salinger novel The Catcher in the Rye has long been one of the most controversial literary tomes, inspiring films and criminal conspiracies. John Lennon’s murderer, Marc David Chapman, carried the book at the murder and continued reading it while Lennon lay bleeding at his feet. He has said that he wished to model his life after the novel's protagonist, Holden Caulfield, identifying with Holden’s misanthropic world view. John Hinckley, after his attack on President Ronald Reagan, was found to have a copy of Rye, but the book did not have anything to do with his psychosis.
