A potential name on former President Trump's running mate shortlist is being described by political insiders as a "powerhouse" that could bring a major boost to his chances at retaking the White House.
The horse race among those hoping to be named Trump's running mate continued this week with the names widely believed to be on the shortlist making the rounds on various media outlets and at public events to praise the former president, including House GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik of New York, who some say has a certain "attractiveness" for the role.

They are hoping to inject another DC Uniparty Deep State actor into the Trump campaign again. They need a traitor to Trump's agenda on the inside to try to trip him up.

Elise is a lioness! The most competent of the finalists listed. If DJT is far out enough in front, she'd be my pick. But to pull him across the finish line in a tight race, idunno. . . .

Yes. Powerful and loyal. Smart. Extremely articulate. And a great inroad into currently blue but wobbling New York...

I am amazed at the Choices for President. Don't people understand that we need someone who could run the Country? Being a member of Congress doesn't really make a person qualified to be President. Trump did a great job because he had years and years running a huge business. That's what made him so successful dealing with Foreign Countries. I'm pretty sure Trump realizes he needs to get a VP who is as qualified as he was when he walked into the White House! I like Mike Pompeo!

This is only one in a series of articles on potential VP picks.
I would favor Sarah Sanders. The male possibilities are sort of lukewarm and Kristi Noem is a no.

Stefanik is not a "deep state actor". The antithesis of that.

Agree with #5, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, she's a current governor of Arkansas which gives her executive experience, and she was very good press secretary for 45.
Knows the message and how to articulate it.

Re #5, I agree very much with your choice. Sarah Sanders has been my favorite for months.
And my comment in #1, was not intended to be negative about Stefanik, just a general "beware the RINO" warning. The Uniparty wants to limit and restrict Trump if they can't stop him entirely. Pence was, IMO, a Deep State plant. He hid it well. Trump must beware.
And we can be certain that Sarah Sanders is a solid, real, intelligent and articulate conservative.

She's a single issue loudmouth, who would be offended if someone said the problem on campuses is not simply anti-semitism, but anti-whiteism. (Indeed, I'm reluctant to solve the current problem of anti-Israel hoodlumism on campus by making Jews yet another cosseted group of whom someone dare not speak, along with blacks, wymyn, gays, trannies, etc.).
BTW, the author of this comment is Jewish and vehemently pro-Israel. Stenfanik would be a disaster.

In agreement with #1 and #8. Sarah Sanders is aces, as far as I can tell, although my medium to short term forward vision is fuzzy. The 2024 "erectionists" need to send FJB and the Donks to the showers with Jerry Sandusky and a container full of that "Kentucky Jelly." Jerry will know what to do.

Please, let's not be like the Democrats and say we've got to have a woman or a black person, or...... How about the most qualified one who will govern like Trump. Sorry, but I am against any woman because I don't believe they're tough enough, with the mess Biden is leaving. Any woman he chooses would be torn apart like Palin was, and I can't see any of them helping the ticket with the women's vote after the Democrats get through with them. Having said that, Huckabee Sanders probably would be able to handle it better than any of the others, except would she be able to help with the important states we need and with fundraising which is also needed? I was sort of impressed with Burgum until I heard he was pretty fond of Bill Gates.

Stefanik is a known quantity. I wish her well in Trump's upcoming administration. However, in what capacity? We'll see. Mr. President, please comment. If Stefanik can be shown to have divorced herself from the uniparty, great, so let's see what she can bring despite what the uber wealthy elite think.

I'd rather like to know who Trump is going to pick as his Attorney General.
I want to see liberals doing the perp walk at 3 am in their pajamas.
Also, the Department of Energy lead has to be someone who can put the brakes on this green energy nonsense.
Worrying about who the VP is at this point in way down my list. Trump is going to win on his own merits.

The primary qualification is that this person must be fully capable of stepping into the presidency in case of a death. Pence was a horrible choice. Let's hope this one is better.
Rand Paul would be my choice.
