So, say you're an attorney who decides to testify against a former client and assert he did all manner of bad things. What happens when your former attorney then testifies against you? Well, we're about to find out. Advertisement On Wednesday, while the trial of former President Donald Trump in Manhattan was on its regular break, Robert Costello, the attorney who formerly represented Michael Cohen (who himself formerly represented Trump), testified before the House Judiciary Committee's Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Government: Costello, once the deputy chief of the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office' prestigious criminal division, alleges in his prepared testimony

Trump's team needs to only call a couple of witnesses. 1. Robert Costello 2. The gentleman who was the CFO for Trump and got jailed for a nothing burger by the crooked NY courts. He did the books and can testify to their authenticity and no crimes committed. 3. One or two legal experts showing that the state failed to prove their case. Prof Dershowitz brought this up today. Said the NY Judge will deny them because he'll say that "He is the expert on the law," but it will be another reason for reversal of any guilty verdict on appeal. I still think there is a good possibility (not a probability) that there will be a hung jury or a long shot of a not guilty verdict. Slim or no chance of the Crooked Judge giving a directed verdict. And Slim just left town. Probably for Florida.

IF the presence of two attorneys can help to provide clarity on this sham trial, there could be a possibility of a hung jury. That would appear to be the only hope of a resolution showing that campaign funds were not directly involved and that others were doing things on their own without direction from Trump. Those are the pertinent charges, not whether or not there was a sexual encounter involved. Bragg attempting to move a charge on which the statute of limitations had run out into a FEDERAL charge makes this the wrong court for this to be taking place. The media cannot take the place of the jury, but has already convicted Mr. Trump in an effort to break him-- if he were not wealthy, he would not have been able to withstand the pressure. A hung jury or rendering a 'not guilty' verdict will NEVER stop the media in its quest to take him out even if found not guilty. The integrity of the jurors after hearing the evidence of the contrary is on display here-- so pray that justice be done and not that those attorneys on the jury are demonrat to the core regardless of the facts presented...

This case reminds me of OJ Simpson case only in reverse. If you remember the OJ prosecution assumed conviction was in the bag. They had evidence to present that they chose not to. Obviously DNA evidence knowledge was not the same as it is today... but they had other witnesses to call that they chose not to call, again presuming conviction was in the bag. In the Trump case, they are assuming an acquittal and could rest their case without calling many witnesses again assuming the case will go their way. The jury could come back with conviction because they want to see Trump Team present a vigorous defense not only rebutting the prosecution case but presenting all of their own witnesses, not just some witnesses. Remember...to over-turn on appeal is not an option. Don't make an OJ mistake.

I'm holding out for a not guilty, as irrational as that might be. You never know what a jury is going to do. But then again those are juries are drawn from a general population. I believe this judge will not allow Trump to call any witness that might inject some intelligence into this case. I find it amazing how Trump exposes the rot in our justice system - Ga., NY, DC, - state and fed. courts. And all the while, he gains more supporters. The more desperate they get the more they step outside the boundaries of law, the greater his standing. This is not normal. It's the tar baby story, the more they punch the more they get stuck.

When Joe Biden released a 14 second video with 5 edits in it declaring how he wants to debate Donald Trump twice, my first thought was how pathetic is it that he can’t get through a few lines without needing multiple takes and heavy editing. My next thought was Trump should take him up on the offer, which he did. Then, I had another thought, a better thought. Something that I believe will help Donald Trump immeasurably. Advertisement The Biden campaign wants two debates, one in June and the other in September, both well ahead of the November election, which is odd. They say it’s because of early voting,

There is little point in analyzing the bogus New York case against Donald Trump from a legal perspective because, of course, it’s not a legal matter. It’s a political matter. It’s a kangaroo court, an attempt to railroad a political opponent to keep him from winning the election against the desiccated, treacherous, corrupt old pervert whom he’s currently pummeling in the polls. But the legal realities are catching up to the people seeking to frame him. This isn’t a case. It’s a scam. A lie. A sham. And a disgrace, not that anything can be a disgrace in a system so free of any moral or ethical considerations.

In Tuesday night’s Democrat Primary election, ten percent of people who went to polls voted “uncommitted” rather than support Biden. The pro-Hamas, anti-Biden movement is beginning to affect the president ahead of the November election, causing headaches for the Democratic Party. “Although ballots are still being counted, the ‘uncommitted’ vote count in this year’s Democratic presidential primary election is already tens of thousands of votes higher than in the 2020 elections,” the group Listen To Maryland said in a press release.
