Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas told attendees at a judicial conference Friday that he and his wife have faced “nastiness” and “lies” over the last several years and decried Washington, D.C., as a “hideous place.” Thomas spoke at a conference attended by judges, attorneys and other court personnel in the 11th Circuit Judicial Conference, which hears federal cases from Alabama, Florida and Georgia. He made the comments pushing back on his critics in response to a question about working in a world that seems meanspirited. “I think there’s challenges to that.

“Hideous” works as well as any. I so hope the good Justice doesn’t just tire out and go to his RV. (But wouldn’t blame him if he did.)

One thing democrats and their media can't stand is a Black man escaping their 'Great Society' plantation. Exponentially so if he becomes a Supreme court judge.

Thomas is being polite. Nasty doesn't even BEGIN to describe he type of place, Washington DC has become! Uniparty hacks who take and deal drugs, and peddle every sort of perversion including pedophilia, so they can turn around and blackmail anyone who they taint with their evil. A corrupt core to a corrupt society that frankly needs to be exterminated.

“…You don’t get to prevent people from doing horrible things or saying horrible things. But one you have to understand and accept the fact that they can’t change you unless you permit that,” — Justice Clarence Thomas Amen! That is one of the many reasons for my love and admiration for this man. Too many people go there relying on their own power to withstand the concentration of evil. There are only two choices. You surrender to God, or you surrender to Satan. Satan is a deceiver, who can appear as an angel of light. Man is human, so he has human failings. He will stumble occasionally as he becomes experienced in recognizing deceptive traps. But, he will not fall from the way of perfection if he trusts in God, who is his strength, shield and protector for good to prevail. Some seem to be so entrapped by the their first big mistake & their pride, or shame, or perhaps the strength of their temptations, that they can’t seem to find the strength to just admit their mistake, & the mess that it’s caused, & extricate themselves from the power of it. People outside of D.C., who love this Constitutional Republic, can see that something has happened to cause a change in them. We may not know precisely what caused it, but most of us are willing to forgive the mistake, & even have admiration for the courage to own up to it & stand for what is right. It is the weakness & capitulation to evil with no evident attempt to fight against it (whatever the reason) that disappoints & ultimately disgusts.

President Trump was in court once again on Friday for Alvin Bragg’s Soviet-style Stormy Daniels ‘hush money’ lawfare trial. Trump was accused of paying porn star Stormy Daniels, AKA, Stephanie Clifford, ‘hush payments’ through his then-attorney Michael Cohen in a scheme to silence her and stop the story about their alleged affair from being published in the National Enquirer. The payments made to Stormy Daniels did NOT come from Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. The payments were made through internal business records – there was no tax deduction taken and there was no obligation to file it with the FEC, according to Trump attorney Joe Tacopina.

Police used pepper spray to clear a pro-Palestinian tent encampment at George Washington University and arrested dozens of demonstrators on Wednesday just as city officials were set to appear before hostile lawmakers in Congress to account for their handling of the 2-week-old protest. The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability canceled the hearing after the crackdown, with its chairman and other Republicans welcoming the police action. House Speaker Mike Johnson said, “it should not require threatening to haul D.C.’s mayor before Congress to keep Jewish students at George Washington University safe.”

Hamas and Egypt were quick to issue statements denouncing the capture of the Rafah border crossing, claiming that the move would "threaten" the lives of the Palestinians and hinder the entry of humanitarian and relief aid into the Gaza Strip. The Egyptians and Hamas have good reason to be angry with the presence of the IDF at the Palestinian side of the Rafah border crossing. For several years, Palestinians who wanted to exit the Gaza Strip via the terminal have alleged that they had to bribe Hamas and officials. Hamas and Egypt are now afraid of losing the Palestinian milk-cow. "It is our right to travel without bribes and without corruption.

You’d have to be intentionally looking the other way not to see the alignment of interests between the RFK Jr. operation and the dormant but ever hopeful DeSantis operation. I’m not necessarily talking about the average supporter, but more akin to the financial backers and background influence operation. Having erased all preconceptions about honest motives and intents as it pertains to DC swamp dwellers, the aggregate UniParty tribe, I am left reviewing and reconciling visible activity through the prism of constant deceptive motive and anti-Trump corruption. Honestly, it’s exhausting.

No matter the paternalistic garbage they regurgitate into party talking points about our existence, we’re supposed to hold our noses and show our support for our political frenemies. And now the stench of racial-rhetoric bile has emitted from the mouth of Gov. Hochul, with insulting and ignorant comments about black kids.

Xi was in France for a two-day state visit to open his European tour. Speaking alongside Xi after their meeting at the Elysee presidential palace, Macron said that France hopes China’s influence on Moscow would help to move Russia toward ending the war in Ukraine. “We welcome the Chinese authorities’ commitments to refrain from selling any weapons or aid” and to “strictly control” sales of products and technologies that can be used for both civilian and military purposes, Macron said.

"This November, voters are going to teach Donald Trump a valuable lesson: Don’t mess with the women of America," one of Biden's aides posted on his Twitter account. Really, Joe? Do you really think that all women share the same political views and will vote in unison against Donald Trump?
