Is Marjorie 'Judas' Greene Betraying Donald Trump?

Original Article

Posted By: DW626, 5/7/2024 7:17:49 AM

Judas Iscariot was one of Jesus’s 12 Apostles. In the Garden of Gethsemane the night before Jesus's crucifixion, Judas betrayed Jesus to the Sanhedrin who eventually arrested Jesus. Jesus predicted this betrayal during the Last Supper. In exchange for his treachery, Judas received thirty pieces of silver. Could he have also been threatened? Who knows? The Bible says nothing about that. Modern day betrayals, particularly of leaders, occur via carrot or stick, reward or kompromat. For Judas, the price was a pocket of silver coins. For members of Congress, the price may be a do-nothing board seat, a cable news gig, or stock options worth millions.

MTG, time for a pop quiz - Q - It would be wise to slow down and realize something. What? If Johnson is forced to resign from the Speakership, have you given much thought to what happens if he should then resign in frustration from the House altogether? A - The dims would then have an instant House majority. And all impeachment proceedings and criminal referrals against biden the cheater, Hunter, and a host of others would suddenly stop and disappear. The House dims would immediately go to work and start ramming through more legislation designed to strip you and us of our remaining liberties and Amerika will be here for good. So, tread carefully, ma'am.

Really... #20... calling MTG that? Stop it, just stop that trash, calling a woman a "w" in any venue, like you did - that's disgusting! As I've been observing what is happening, can anyone tell me what Johnson has done that is better than what McCarthy would have done? Actually, I think he's been more liberal than McCarthy and there are a lot of real conservative republicans, like MTG, who are fed up with speakers who promise one thing and then, cave to democrats... I know I'm sick of that; I can only imagine what conservatives... who've been promised certain conservative actions... go along with them and then, the speaker stabs them in the backs... feel about that!

I saw video clips on TV yesterday of Pelosi and jeffries: A reporter asked Nancy if she was happy with Mike Johnson as Speaker. Her answer: 'Yes; Mike Johnson runs the house as it should be run'. (not an exact quote, but close). Another reporter asked Hakeem if he was looking forward to being Speaker soon. His answer: 'It doesn't matter; We already get every thing we want. The House Democrats may be a slim minority, but we really do run everything in reality.' (again, maybe not an exact quote, but very close). That really says more about Mike Johnson than what MTG OR Trump may say about him.

To serve in govt. you have to be born in the USA. The two biggest mistakes this country has made was to give women the vote & stopping the draft. Look around the country, everywhere there is trouble, there is a female in charge.

After Michael Cohen's disastrous testimony, it would seem that the case against President Trump over the bookkeeping entry in a hush-money payment case would be in tatters as it goes to the jury. Many legal eagles have said as much. But the politically partisan New York justice in this case, Juan Merchan, doesn't give up that fast and clearly wants to salvage the case. He's instructing the jury to ignore the detail about the 'underlying crime' and treat the case the same way a burglary case is treated.

During an interview with MSNBC, Kirschner praised the Democrat’s legal team for throwing his wife under the bus as a way to protect him. “Once the cases were severed, you know, there’s a preference in the law for codefendants to be tried together jointly in one trial,” Kirschner said. “That’s true for lots of reasons.

What is a tariff, anyway? 1 reply

I have been patiently waiting for someone in the media to explain the meaning of “tariff” to the general public, rather than going on endlessly about the implications of imposing, for example, a 50% tariff on vehicles, a 20% tariff on steel, and a 10% tariff on aluminum on foreign nations, specifically now on China. It’s my belief that the general public would like an overview explaining tariffs instead of listening to political tirades from numerous politicians and knee-jerk journalists, reporters, editors, and “talking heads” about what might happen if the United States adopts these new tariffs.

The Wealth Gap: An Existential Threat 4 replies

Since 1970 the value of the dollar has steadily declined. The lower 80% of Americans have lost income and purchasing power, largely due to the exodus of manufacturing by global corporations. As a result, the wealth gap between the global rich and the rest has widened. From 2007-2016 the net worth of the richest Americans increased by 20% while the lower 80% decreased by the same percentage, widening the wealth gap considerably. The Federal Reserve sparked this change using quantitative easing to boost the sagging stock market. The rich could invest in this wealth explosion but the rest could not as much.

Michael Cohen is a congenital (and convicted) liar, but when he took the stand as a witness for Alvin Bragg’s “hush money” trial, Cohen said the reason he took a home equity line out to pay Stormy Daniels instead of pulling money out of his checking account is so that his wife wouldn’t see the withdrawal. Here are a few leads to all Democrat campaign workers posing as journalists and reporting on the trial: If you take out a home equity line, all the parties owning the home have to sign the document; yet it certainly does not appear that Cohen owned his residence by himself.

Both had Indo-European leadership, so this was not about race. The Persians were an autocratic tyranny with a semi-divine king, yet the Spartans were a totalitarian monstrosity. Amal Clooney played a key role in arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. If her name sounds familiar it is because she is the wife of actor George Clooney. She advised the International Criminal Court (ICC) in favor of issuing the warrants. The fact that Israel is accused of crimes against humanity when it is fighting for its survival against the internationally recognized terror organization that massacred Israelis and others on October 7, 2023, is unbelievable. Equating Israel and Hamas is unacceptable. How would any reasonable person argue that Israel is the same as Hamas unless that person was an anti-Israel, anti-Jew antisemitic?
