Actually, It Was the U.S. Who Killed Iranian
President Raisi (Iran Says)

Original Article

It is with a heavy heart that we must report who Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi's real killer is: The United States of America. At least, that's the implication from Iran, which needed a couple of days to get its story straight and blame "Western sanctions" on the poor quality of its helicopters, which led to Raisi's untimely demise. That talking point is now floating around, thanks to friendly media outlets willing to overlook (if not actually cheer on) Iran being a country run by very bad people. “One of the culprits behind yesterday’s tragedy is the United States, because of its sanctions that bar Iran from procuring essential aviation parts,”

They're developing nuclear weapons. They can get the avionics. Steam gages and glass instruments do the same thing. What they can't do is compensate for the pilot's inner ear during instrument meteorological conditions. That and thug passengers who probably made it clear to the crew they were going home *now*, so do your job and fly. All Kobe wanted to do was coach his daughter's game.

A lie that only liars will believe. When it comes to corruption and tyranny, Iran ranks near the top. Honesty left the building long ago, and competence went with him. That's what killed Raisi. Seriously, the guy won't be missed. It's just a shame that all of Iran's filthy leadership weren't on board that helicopter when it went down.

As noted below, this ain't the first time the "VIP Passenger" said to the pilot, "We're going home. I don't care what you say about the weather." Sometimes the most successful flight you have as a pilot is when you don't go.

I'd a poor workman who blames his tools...... Like so many thousands of other pilots who used poor judgement by flying into fog in the mountains with a VFR (Visual Flight Rules) equipped aircraft and/or pilot - this is predictable. Ask Kobe Bryant. In private aviation circles this is called "get home-itis" a fatal disease which is caused by a need to "get home" when the weather conditions are not safe for flying, given the equipment of the aircraft and/or the training of the pilot. While I did comment that there had been no parts other than via quesitonable back channels from folks who'd feel at home in the cantina scene on Tattooine in Star Wars, it seems more like flying a perfectly functional aircraft into a big rock hiding in a cloud. Either way - good riddance.

If Iran wanted the parts they could get someone else to buy them. What nonsense. Anyway, if you don't want to get killed don't go flying over the mountains in the fog.

16, A properly maintained helicopter that was first put into service 50 years ago will have been rebuilt many times over its life when it comes to the major components and inflight instruments if it is kept up to standards as per the FAA. Engines, transmissions, linkages, controls, rotors... all rebuilt or swapped out for new parts. Airframe... inspected for fatigue and stress fractures. That is why the overwhelming number of aviation accidents are pilot error.

It may have been terrorism...The other two Helos flying along with them made it, it may be the pilot, co-pilot or another passenger Alahuawkbard them into "Paradise" over political, religious, family, or "Clan" differences. Originaly built in Ft worth starting in 1968, all manufacturing by Bell moved to Canada in 1986. Numerous other nations had UH1/212 manufacture/assembly factories under license...Japan still builds them. several Iran allies have fleets of them Including Turkey, Yemen and Lebanon. Iran has been shipping Russia massive numbers of drones, cruise missiles etc that have long distance all weather navigation, and are even operated remotely. If their helos and planes do not have the same IFR,and communications capabilities..it is because THEY chose not to build or install it. Might as well mention that "Climate Change" caused the wreck...after all it was foggy and snowing heavily...in MAY.

The question is, could an F-35 with long range air to air missiles see through the fog and blow a helicopter out of the sky? If so what countries in that area of the world have F-35’s in their Air Forces who might want to blow those particular Iranian big wigs out of the sky? The answers to those questions might give you a clue. Another issue to contemplate is the quality of the helicopter repair parts that the Iranians have been able to purchase on the international aircraft parts markets to install on their helicopters, if they have bought what amounts to junk, that might have a bearing on causing the helicopter to crash. Then there is the question of flying a helicopter in dense fog into the side of a hill or mountain!

1. Are Russia and China sanctioning Iran? Last time I checked, they both make helicopters. And they sell them. 2. Spare parts have nothing to do with flying in thick fog and crashing into a mountain. 3. You could always alter the behavior of your State so as to get sanctions lifted.

Yesterday I reacquainted myself with a late 'Sixties song by the Scottish singer Donovan (Leitch), "There Is a Mountain." "First there is a mountain then there is no mountain then there is." LOL. Our Savior, in Whom the terrorist savages do not believe, could have told the mountain to go away, and it would have obeyed. But that didn't happen here. The mountain was very much there, immovable and stark, ready to be flown into. As Duke Wayne said, "Life's tough. It's tougher if you're stupid."

TEL AVIV, Israel — Norway, Ireland and Spain said Wednesday they would recognize a Palestinian state, a historic but largely symbolic move that further deepens Israel’s isolation more than seven months into its grinding war against Hamas in Gaza. Israel denounced the decisions and recalled its ambassadors to the three countries. Palestinian officials welcomed the announcements as an affirmation of their decades-long quest for statehood in east Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip — territories Israel seized in the 1967 Mideast war and still controls. While some 140 countries — more than two-thirds of the United Nations — recognize a Palestinian state, Wednesday’s cascade
